ResMed AirSense 10 Series
Is this a travel-friendly machine? Is it heavy and can I remove the humidifier?
While not explicitly designed for travel, the AutoSet is actually a very transportable machine. The humidifier is completely removable too, so if you are short on space or just don't like the humidifier, you can disconnect it from the machine easily.
Am I allowed to bring my AirSense on a plane?
Yes, you are: medical equipment does not count against an airline's luggage limit. Make sure that your machine is in airplane mode and that you don't fill your water chamber before the flight.
Will the old ClimateLine tubing work on the new AirSense 10?
No, the old ClimateLine tubing is not compatible with the latest machine. It features different prongs.
myAir is a web application that syncs with the AirSense and AirCurve machine to allow you to view your sleep apnea therapy data.
myAir is only available in the US and Canada.
Return on warranty issues only.

What do we talk about when it comes to CPAP? I talk about size, weight, noise level, and appearance. Whatever you may be looking for, the Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset CPAP with HumidAir might be the CPAP for you.
Coming in at 10.04 in L x 4.57 in W x 5.91 in H, this AutoCpap or APAP sizes right up with the rest. The weight is less than 3 lbs with the humidifier attached. Compared to other Auto PAP Machines, I feel the noise level is quiet. Users of this APAP seem impressed by how quiet it is compared to other Auto Cpap Machines. Resmed has done a great job with its appearance, making it look like a clock radio.
Being humidification seems to be the talk. AirSense 10 AutoSet has taken its humidification to the next level with its climatelineAir heated tubing. This tubing will help maintain the temperature throughout the entire air circuit. You can set the Auto Climate Control mode, which takes into consideration the room temperature and adjust the humidification delivered at the mask. This feature, along with the humidifier, should help with water in the tubing.
The humidifiers’ heating plate is built, so its water chamber is directly attached to the machine. Its settings range between off and 8, with 8 being the highest level of humidification. When using humidification, it is essential to notice your water level within your tubing and mask. If you are receiving water droplets in either, you will want to decrease your setting on the humidifier. If you are waking up to a dry nose or mouth, it indicates that you need to increase your humidifier setting.
Other features that help this unit stand out are the AutoRamp, SmartStart, and Expiratory Pressure Relief. All 3 of these features are for comfort and convenience to help you fall asleep with ease.
AutoRamp allows the unit to sense when you are awake or asleep. Once asleep, this neat feature will comfortably rise to your prescription pressure, allowing a smooth transition from awake to sleep. So there is no need to suffer trying to adjust to high pressures when you can hit this button to allow a lower pressure that will ramp up over time to your prescribed pressure. This featured marked with the Expiratory Pressure Relief makes for one comfortable nights’ rest.
Expiratory Pressure Relief, which is a standard on all ResMed CPAP units going forward, is intended for comfort. While using CPAP, it can be difficult to breathe out against your prescribed pressure, causing you to stop therapy. Expiratory Pressure Relief helps by lowering the pressure during exhalation while keeping your airway open. This allows users breathing to feel more natural, allowing users to fall asleep quicker.
SmartStart is added for convenience. Once you are in bed and have your mask on, start to breathe, and the unit will start. If you should take your mask off to go to the bathroom, the unit will sense it, and shut off. This feature is terrific. It not only allows the user to hop into bed, get themselves adjusted, but it helps so that you’re not leaning over constantly to turn your unit on/off.
So here are final thoughts and considerations regarding the ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet. Even though this unit is smaller, lighter, and quieter, it’s not a travel unit. If you are a traveler, this unit will take up more space. You may like the travel bag and find that it is smaller than the previous units you have used, but for those of you who travel by plane, it is be better suited in your carry on luggage.
In my opinion, the ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet has excellent features to help bring you into the next level of APAP therapy!
Why do you need a heated CPAP hose?
Review By Anne G. RPSGT, RST

The main reason for a heated hose is to avoid moisture build up in the CPAP tube. If you use a fan at night or if your bed is near a window, sometimes the moisture from the humidifier can condense and pool in the hose before it gets to your airway.
When this happens, it can wake you up by creating a loud popping sound as the air blows past the water, and in some cases can cause what we refer to as "rain out" where the water starts to splash on to your face or pour in to your nose. The heated hose insulates the air from the cooler temperatures in your room to avoid this. You can also adjust the heat in the hose for your comfort making this a great option to the standard hose!

I purchased this machine last Thursday and delivered Friday afternoon. After two nights of using this APAP Machine, it's great! It is simple to use and gives me great results. I have COPD Stage 3 with Moderate Obstructive Sleep Apnea. MyAir score last night was 99/100 with 0 AHI. I got the heated air tube and no more dry mouth or running nose in the morning. You will not be disappointed. Respshop is a great outfit to do business with. If your on the fence, you won't regret it.
This is my second one the first lasted 6 1/2 years. I never had a problem with it. This one arrived on time and works as stated it works as expected was easy to set up. I like the settings that I can use as I need for different sleep conditions.
The machine is very easy to use. You can easily adjust and set the pressure to your requirements. The humidifier is easily detachable and easy to clean. Machine is quite light and relatively small. Good value for money.
I am very satisfied with AirSense 10 AutoSet, the machine meets all my needs. I am also satisfied with the professional service provided by Resmed and Respshop. I want to leave my thanks and congratulations.
My doctor recommended this machine because he can monitor and change settings from his computer. After 9 months I find the machine (which thinks for you) still wakes me up about once per week with a puffing. Apparently it doesn't like my breathing as I am falling asleep. The doc says this is great and the machine adjusts to what it thinks will stop my apneas (tested at 16cm, machine says 14cm), it sucks. I still apnea once per hour per the doctor. But what is really annoying is, now I snore with the machine on and a perfect mask fit and mouth closed. Totally unacceptable! No nightlight, runs out of water during the night, and controls are not available. I started using a CPAP in 1991 and this is a first for me. My wife says "it is quiet" but she isn't happy either. Buyer beware is my best advice. I'd love my old DeVillbis back! Best wishes.
Thank you for your review!
I have this machine, it has a feature called Smart Start which senses when you start breathing it will start up and will also have a night light come on as well. As for the water chamber, you may want to adjust your humidification because I get 2 nights out of mine. Check out our Airsense 10 Video on Youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0TCxi3rPvAg

I love a lot about this machine. Very quite! The main draw back is that it charts/graphs the data and I haven’t figured out how to pull just the readings. I will keep working with it but overall it’s easy to use and straightforward.
excellent machine, meets 100% specifications, the service offered by Respshop was excellent especially the person who attended me, CPSGT

I have it for 3 years now.Just bought Dream Station, and is better.
ordered as a replacement for my aging cpap machine, glad i did. I like the auto features. This unit is easy to set up and use, also quite.
Resmed products are nice. Better than most. This site is very helpful to "new users" but for those of us that have been around, we find their pricing a little exorbitant.
I shall proceed to my old supply haunts..
We provide extraordinary customer service. Moreover, we match any licensed US CPAP dealers' prices.
My old ResMed Elite started getting noisy so I replaced it with an AirSense 10. The AirSense is a far superior machine. I held onto that Elite for too long. The controls/settings are easy to figure out on your first use. Lots of adjustments if you need to tweak your therapy. Very quite and takes up less space than the old Elite. The water chamber is the best part about this one. Easy to clean with a clam shell design. Reshop is the best sleep Apnea web store for CPAP gear.
Order received very promptly and the unit works great!
I ordered the ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet Cpap w HumidAir.
I'm very please with the setup and operation of the CPap. It's very quiet.
Got it for my son. User interface is simple and clean. Very quiet and easy to use. Has helped tremendously with the snoring.
Great value and price. 3 weeks in, works great almost silent while sleeping. Arrived in 4 days after purchase. Just started therapy feeling better after 2 days.
good value for the price.
trying this after dreamstation and devilbliss 2
Great machine super quiet Thank you so much. I think it's the best one I have ever owned. I have been a sleep apnea customer for 16 years and this one finally doesn't wake me up
It has a ramp up feature that was already set. It would have been nice for the person who took my order to explain that to me. I don't like the ramp up feature/action. Also, I asked if my heated tubing from the old machine would fit and was told yes. Well, it doesn't. I would have to order more and when I tried the representive on the phone for Respshop really had NO idea of how to place an order. After over 20 minutes I said, never mond. I'll try ordering later. It was frustrating.
Thank you so much for your feedback. I am sorry you had this experience. I am going to send you a video showing you how to change the ramp as well as other info. Unfortunately unless your last machine was an Airsense or Airstart 10 the heated tube would not work but I will send you a heated tube.
Been using this machine for about a week and I'm very pleased with the results. AHI Events have been reduced significantly and no more snoring from what I've been told. Everyone is happy. Shipping was also fast so thanks both resmed and respshop!
The machine correspond to my needs and the service from Respshop was very good in assisting me to get the righto
ResMed is a great brand. This machine has a friendly interface and lightweight. I like it design.
So far, I like this CPAP, It has features that I did not existed. I really like the little faces that show good or bad. I had wondered about the fit on the nasal mask that I have and know I know because the symbol is smiling. I also like the 'ramp' feature.
I thought my old Phillips was a pretty good machine until I got this. It's quiet and so much more advanced than the one I had. It's also really nice to be able to make program changes so easily. I couldn't be happier with this machine.
I like this product, ResMed , and
This is new version of ResMed, I would like to try the new technology about sleep.
It is better from ResMed9 but can't separate Humid.
Pretty easy to set-up and very compact (also good looking!)
I've been using it for a month and it changed my life.
Just keep a constant maintenance and im sure this machine will last for years.
Respshop Customer Service answered all my questions in a breeze.
I am really impressed with the customer service and I want to say a special thank you to Sarah, online assistant ! Can't wait to receive my new CPAP machine Hope it will be as good as the service !!!
I've been using this machine for 16 months now and have experienced a number of benefits as follows:
1. My wife loves it because there is no more snoring from me. All she hears is a very quiet air noise.
2. No more acid reflux. I suspect that the continuous movement of air down my throat inhibits acidity from my stomach coming up. I think I first noticed that I was no longer taking Tums occasionally before going to bed after about 3 - 4 months.
3. Better sleep. I fall asleep quickly and get around 7.5 to 8 hours per night.
4. Sleep through the night without getting up in the middle of the night to go to the rest room. I first noticed this change after about 9 - 10 months of usage. Now after 16 months, I can't remember the last time I did not sleep uninterrupted through the night.
5. I don't feel tired during the day anymore. However, if I lay back in my reclining chair during the day, I will fall asleep. So I deliver myself from temptation by keeping busy unless I feel like a nap and since I'm retired it's OK.
6. A possible long-term benefit may be less likelihood of or delay of the onset of Alzheimers or other mental problems. Don't know but maybe there's research in this area.
I got my new Resmed 10 Elite about 2 months ago. Well I did return it. Here are the reasons I returned it.
1) Way too noisey ... every time you breathe it whisses with you ans it seams to get worst the longer you own the machine .
2) Water tank I find it is too small...Not as good as the 9. Have to fill every morning if you make it through the night.
They told me that this is not common on this machine . So they talked mr into another one ( Resmed 10 ). Well people this is the way they are built noisey and small tank. I will give it a couple of weeks and see , but I dought it will change. Wise me luck...
I have had my machine for about 2 years now. It works fine , I have it running wide open an the ramp set at 30 minutes. The only thing the machine don't do is to help me sleep all night. I sleep on my tummy most of the time . I built a hose manger to bolt on the back of the bed have a modified kitchen sink hose weight on it to keep it straight a not under me. I also ma some mask covers from t-shirt material because I did not like the plastic on my face and it stops the mask from leaking a lot.
Cual es el valor total del producto incluido costo de envio a Chile?
Yes, the machine does work as advertised but the QUALITY of construction is nothing as compared to the Model 9 Series or even the S8. ResMed has cheapened out the machine to increase their margin. The design of the integrated water tank could not have been worse. The model 9 series was BUILT with no cost spared. I knew the day would finally come when even ResMed would start making snap-together plastic machines loaded with software "bells & whistles".
I find this machine too noisy, and I'm not fond of the wifi on it. I sorry I took this one and I don't think it will ever last 12 years like my old Fisher Paykel did. Buyer beware. It looks beautiful and sleek with a nice case, but the quality of the machine is not very good.
This is the best machine I have ever used since last 10 years. I also get sleep results on my iPhone daily I.e. How well I sleep and if there is any concern that needs attention. This way I am always on watch which makes me feel secured and comfortable. I love it.
I love this machine for its lightweight, quiet and electronic features. The previous CPAP machine I had doesn't compare to this one....sleep has never felt so good.
I was diagnosed with sleep apnea and my physician recommeded this machine to me. It is very ergonomic and quite compared to what I heard about CPAP machines. This has nice features that I'm still learning about daily. I will take it traveling.
As you know, ResMed just released four new CPAP machines called AirSense 10 recently. Out of the four, I found this machine is the best one that suits me. There are so many features that will keep me busy playing with my new toy! It has advanced auto-adjusting, sleep onset detection, wireless cloud computing, where my health provider can adjust my pressure settings remotely, etc. , built-in humidifier which I can turn it on or off if I wish not to use it, almost noiseless when in operation, the dial knob and button are lighted so I can see it at night. This is the best purchase I ever made in my life!
This machine comes with a built in humidifier and very lightweight. You have the option of turning the humidifier off if you don't want to use it and just turn it back on when u do decide to use the humidifier. It comes with a wireless modem which allows you to transmit or share your therapy information to your healthcare provider. .Resmed 10 detect and let you know if you have the right mask for it, the system will also detect if your mask is leaking and it will also let you know with a symbol on your screen if your mask is positioned the right way. After trying 2 different machines for me this is top of the line and worth buying.
This machine is awesome, it doesn't look like a medical device though look like an MP3 player in the room, has a built in humidifier insert in the machine and also has an option not to use the humidifier if you don't want it, pretty much the same from the S9 Series machine but it has Data Plan offers to transmit data from provider, diagnose the machine, and change the settings wirelessly, I like the LCD Screen that gloss at night after few minutes turn off automatically because of the light sensor.
