To keep your machine working its best, it's important to replace this filter every 2 to 6 months*. If you live in a dusty area or have pets, you might need to change it more often.

Q. Are these ResMed brand or just fit their machines?
A. They are the ResMed Brand filters.
Q. Are these made in USA?
A. Yes, they're made in the USA.
Q. Are these the resmed 39300 standard filter?. Not the thinner hypoallergenic filter.
A. Yes these are the standard filters and NOT the hypoallergenic filters.
Q. There are two filters in the package. Use both or just one ? Which way to face which filter ?
A. Hi there, the package comes with 2 separate filters. Each filter should be replaced within 1-3 months. Check the filter monthly and replace as needed when it starts to discolor. I suggest flicking any dust off and placing it back in the same way until replacing. No particular way to face the filter.
Q. Are these filters made by ResMed, or are they made by a different company to be compatible with ResMed machines?
A. It is my understanding they come from Resmed.

What I like about this particular filter is that it is the only filter necessary for my Resmed AirSence 10 CPAP machine. Other CPAP machines required the micro-filter along with the outer sponge-like filter.

These filters make a difference. I change these on time all of the time. I did not change my filters so often with my last CPAP machine, and its performance dropped and eventually quit working before its time. These filters ensure that the air you breathe is cleaner, that the prescribed pressures are delivered to your mask, and keeps the machine clean for a long life. Change your filters, it is worth it. These filter are a great value for the price, and they are worth every one of the five stars I give them.

I tried using the cleanable ones but they didn't seem to work as well after the initial use. The price of the disposables is cheap enough I don't mind throwing it away each month and I know that my machine isn't working harder trying to get air through a dirty filter.
