Luna G3 Auto CPAP Machine with Heated Humidifier by React Health

The Luna G3 APAP Machine from React Health is a sleek and compact auto-adjusting CPAP machine designed to enhance your sleep apnea therapy experience. Measuring just 10.4" x 5.7" x 4.5" and weighing a mere 3.75 lbs, the Luna G3 takes up minimal valuable bedside real estate and is easily portable for travel. As an auto CPAP machine, the Luna G3 constantly monitors the user's breathing pattern and adjusts pressure settings to prevent breathing events.

The Luna G3 features an integrated heated humidifier with a removable 360 ml water chamber that can be easily detached from the side of the machine with a simple push-and-release mechanism. A large LCD display and control knob to the right of the screen allow users to easily cycle through menu settings while the prominent start/stop button on the top of the device initiates therapy. Users can view their CPAP therapy settings such as therapy mode, prescribed pressure and Reslex settings right from the home screen, eliminating any confusion regarding their sleep apnea therapy settings.

Humidification and Heated Tubing
The Luna G3's heated humidifier features an automatic setting as well as five fixed humidity levels. When the Auto setting is selected, the machine will adjust the humidity level in response to the environment to maintain optimal humidity. Users can also preheat their humidifier for 30 minutes prior to starting therapy.

The machine is compatible with all non-heated tubing featuring standard 22mm cuffs; however, heated tubing is recommended to prevent condensation or rainout in the CPAP tube and mask. Luckily, the heated tubing is a standard accessory with the Luna G3. Luckily, the heated tubing is a standard accessory with the Luna G3.

Comfort Features
Like most modern CPAP and APAP machines, the Luna G3 APAP comes with many comfort features and settings for a personalized therapy experience. The comfort features include Reslex, Ramp Time/Auto Ramp and Auto On. Reslex lowers pressure during exhalation to make breathing more comfortable. It can be turned off or set from 1 to 3 with each number corresponding to the amount of pressure decrease on exhalation.

Ramp gradually increases pressure from a lower, more comfortable initial level over the set Ramp Time (0-60 mins) to the prescribed therapy pressure. Auto Ramp is an upgraded ramp feature which delivers pressure at a lower setting and increases it only once the user has fallen asleep. Another standard comfort feature, Auto On, enables hands-free therapy initiation simply by breathing into the CPAP mask.

Data Access
The Luna G3 APAP machine offers multiples options for users to view their sleep data and stay on track of their therapy goals. Users can download the 3B Luna QR Code app (iOS/Android) and scan the QR code generated by the machine to access their compliance report or generate their report using the web based iCode Connect program. iCode Connect can be accessed via your internet browser and offers two options for generating reports: SD card download or iCode input. The iCode is a string of 16 digits found under the "Report" icon on the home screen.

Users who prefer to leave the compliance monitoring to their healthcare provider will want to ensure they purchase the Luna G3 model with an integrated cellular modem (LG3600). The modem uses cellular connectivity to automatically transmit therapy data to providers and also allows for remote setting changes for everyone's convenience.

FAQ

How do I clean my Luna G3 Auto CPAP Machine?
Unplug the Luna G3 Auto and wipe down the outside of unit with a damp cloth. The water chamber and heated tubing should be removed and washed with mild soap and warm water at least once a week. The water chamber is also top rack dishwasher safe. If cleaning by hand, soak the water chamber and heated tubing in warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly under running water. Air dry the water chamber and tubing away from direct sunlight.

To minimize mold and bacteria buildup, we recommend emptying the water chamber every 1 to 2 days. Use only distilled water in the water chamber to minimize mineral buildup that can leave a stubborn, white chalky residue on the bottom of the chamber. To make cleaning a lot more convenient, the water cha

How often should I replace my Luna G3 supplies?
The tubing (heated or non-heated) and water chamber should be replaced every 6 months. The reusable foam filter that comes with the machine should be replaced every 6 months. Please note that the frequency of filter replacements may vary depending on air quality.

Airlines have different regulations regarding in-flight CPAP use. Please make sure you are familiar with your airline’s on-board CPAP use policy prior to traveling.

Does the Luna G3 heated tubing work with any CPAP machine?
