Comfort Features
Like most modern CPAP and APAP machines, the Luna G3 APAP comes with many comfort features and settings for a personalized therapy experience. The comfort features include Reslex, Ramp Time/Auto Ramp and Auto On. Reslex lowers pressure during exhalation to make breathing more comfortable. It can be turned off or set from 1 to 3 with each number corresponding to the amount of pressure decrease on exhalation.
Ramp gradually increases pressure from a lower, more comfortable initial level over the set Ramp Time (0-60 mins) to the prescribed therapy pressure. Auto Ramp is an upgraded ramp feature which delivers pressure at a lower setting and increases it only once the user has fallen asleep. Another standard comfort feature, Auto On, enables hands-free therapy initiation simply by breathing into the CPAP mask.
Data Access
The Luna G3 APAP machine offers multiples options for users to view their sleep data and stay on track of their therapy goals. Users can download the 3B Luna QR Code app (iOS/Android) and scan the QR code generated by the machine to access their compliance report or generate their report using the web based iCode Connect program. iCode Connect can be accessed via your internet browser and offers two options for generating reports: SD card download or iCode input. The iCode is a string of 16 digits found under the "Report" icon on the home screen.
Users who prefer to leave the compliance monitoring to their healthcare provider will want to ensure they purchase the Luna G3 model with an integrated cellular modem (LG3600). The modem uses cellular connectivity to automatically transmit therapy data to providers and also allows for remote setting changes for everyone's convenience.
