Everything You Need to Know About Your Machine
How often do you replace the machines?
It is expected that all rental machines will be used regularly for 8 hours a day for 2 years. If the total usage of your rental machine reaches 5,840 hours, which can be verified in the machine menu, please get in touch with us to replace it with a newer model.
How do you clean the machines?
We inspect, reset, and sanitize returned rentals, discarding the water chamber, tubing, and filter. After a minimum of 7 days in isolation, the machines are ready to be shipped out again.
Does a rental CPAP machine come with a heated humidifier and heated tubing?
Rental machines come with a new water tub and humidifier, except for the travel machines. Standard tubing is provided, but heated CPAP tubing can be purchased if desired.
Do machines come with a CPAP mask?
No. You either use your own mask or purchase your CPAP mask from here.
How do I return my CPAP rental?
Please use the included return label to ship your rental back to us.
What is the minimum short-term CPAP rental?
One month.
Does the rental CPAP machines come with a battery?
No.
Does the rental machine come with a travel bag?
Yes.
Can we buy the machine after a certain time?
We do not offer this option at this moment.
Which machines have remote connections?
Machines that support remote connections: ResMed AirMini, AirSense 11.

Do you charge insurance?
No, we only accept credit or debit cards. You may wish to consult your insurance provider regarding reimbursement.
Do you accept credit card, debit card or PayPal?
Our monthly charge system supports credit and debit cards.
Do you take FSA/HSA cards for rental orders?
No. Currently we only take credit and debit cards as the payment methods for rental orders.
Is this program available to international customers?
No, currently we only allow orders from the U.S. (excluding US Territories).
How do you charge me for the following months?
RespShop will charge the credit/debit card we have on file each month, starting from your initial order date. If your card has expired, we kindly ask you to contact us ASAP to update your card.
Why can't I find the PayPal Checkout for Rental?
Our monthly charge system only supports credit and debit cards at this moment.
What if I want to buy the machine after a few months' rental?
Yes, after renting the equipment for a period of time, you can contact our customer service to discuss purchasing the equipment. The monthly fees you have paid can be applied towards the purchase price of the equipment, up to a maximum of half of the current retail price of the equipment. Please contact us for further information regarding the buy-out procedure. Rental buyout machines include a 90-day warranty.
Why do you need to charge a deposit?
The deposit for the rental machines is held to cover any damages or non-return of the equipment. Once the rental period is over and the machine is returned in good condition, the deposit is refunded.

What if I break or lose the machine?
You will be charged up to 80% of the new machine price, as per Resphop's policy.
What if I lose the machine parts that need to be returned?
You will be charged the listed website price of the part and $20.00 for manuals, as per Resphop's policy.

Rental Policy
Prescription Required
We require a prescription for all CPAP machine rentals. You can purchase a home sleep test from us if you never had one or book an appointment for a renewed prescription. If you have purchased a machine at RespShop.com before, please let us know. We may already have your prescription on file. If not, you can fax it to us at 1-866-936-3730 or email us at sales@respshop.com. We must have a copy of your prescription before we ship your rental. We can also contact your physician directly.
Rental Period
Please be advised that our minimum rental period is 1 month. Rental period is rounded up to the nearest month. For instance, if you keep the machine for 2 months and 1 day, you will be charged for 3 months. The rental period is calculated from the order date until the return drop-off date. Please note that we do not offer refunds for charged monthly costs.

Shipping Address
We only ship rental machines to credit card billing addresses due to security reasons. We ship to all 50 states. *We do not ship to the US Territories. Free return shipping is limited to only the contiguous 48 States with USPS Flat Rate or UPS Ground shipping.
What If the Machine Is Damaged When It Is Returned?
The machine must be returned without any defects. We strongly recommend you take pictures of any marks or defects you spot when you first receive the machine and send them to us for our records. RespShop will charge up to 80% of the price of a new machine for rental machines that are lost or returned damaged. RespShop reserves the right of final interpretation/determination of the machine’s condition.
Deposit Required
When placing an order, we will charge the machine rental fee, a setup fee, and a deposit to your credit/debit card. The deposit amount may vary based on the machine you select. Starting from the second charge, you will only be billed the monthly rental fee. Once the machine is returned, we will proceed to refund the deposit to you.
About your credit/debit card:
Customers are required to provide a credit or debit card under their name with a matching billing/shipping address. The card must have an expiration date of at least 3 months away. Customers are advised to contact us promptly for an update if their card is about to expire. PayPal, and FSA/HSA cards are not accepted as payment methods for rental orders.
When placing your order, please ensure that your card has sufficient funds to cover the monthly rental fee, a setup fee, and the deposit. If there are insufficient funds, your order might experience delays or could even be canceled. In the event that the monthly rental charge is declined, our team will promptly contact you to address the issue. If transactions cannot be processed on time and we are unable to contact you for the return procedure, your deposit may not be returned to offset the cost of the machine.
