ResMed AirMini AutoSet Travel CPAP Machine
Designed for travel without compromise, the ResMed AirMini AutoSet Travel CPAP packs all the comfort features of your home CPAP into a size no bigger than your smartphone.
At just 0.66 lbs (299.4 g) and 5.4" x 3.3" x 2.1" (13.7 cm x 8.4 cm x 5.3 cm), this compact device weighs less than a paperback and frees up precious luggage space for other travel essentials.
With three key comfort features, the AirMini makes CPAP therapy a seamless experience — whether you’re on a long-haul flight or at home napping:
- Expiratory Pressure Relief (EPR) - lowers pressure when you exhale for more natural breathing
- AutoRamp - gradually increases pressure to your prescribed settings after you fall asleep
- SmartStart/Stop - lets you initiate therapy simply by breathing into your mask and stop it by removing the mask
Upgrade your travel experience by getting convenient accessories for your AirMini.
For humidification without using water, use the device with the compact AirMini HumidX and HumidX Plus Cartridges. These cartridges recycle heat and moisture from your exhaled breath to soothe dry airways.
For extra protection, zip up your travel CPAP in the padded AirMini Travel Case before packing. Or organize your entire sleep apnea routine with the AirMini Premium Carry Bag, which features separate compartments for your CPAP machine and supplies.

Many of my clients ask me about the ResMed AirMini when they’re looking for a travel CPAP. The AirMini is incredibly popular and for good reason.
It's compact, travel-friendly, quiet, and has multiple power options. Plus, it weighs only 0.66 lb and is so small you can slip it into your purse.
Despite its compact size, the AirMini comes with three therapy modes as well as convenient data tracking via the ResMed AirMini app.
The best part? You don't sacrifice comfort for portability with the AirMini. With EPR, AutoRamp, SmartStart/Stop, it has the same comfort features as the AirSense 10 and 11 — both significantly bigger.
ResMed has really created a CPAP machine that makes traveling less stressful. The AirMini’s waterless humidification system (HumidX) saves on space and weight, so you can breathe warm, moist air without the need for a bulky humidifier. No more packing distilled water or spending your vacation trying to find some!
The AirMini is also FAA-approved for in-flight use so you can sleep better on those long flights. Just remember to disconnect Bluetooth before takeoff.
In terms of noise, the AirMini is not as quiet as a full-sized CPAP because there is less room for soundproofing. But at 30 dBA, it's quieter than the sound of you snoring.
The AirMini requires an AC power source to operate, but battery and DC power options are available. The AirMini DC Converter plugs into a cigarette lighter socket so you can power the machine from your car, boat or RV.
If you're looking to go off-grid, the AirMini works with a lot of third party lithium batteries/power packs. Some of these batteries can even be charged via solar power.
The ResMed AirMini AutoSet Travel CPAP is truly a great travel companion. Give it a try and see how it enhances your travel experience!
If you find this an issue we suggest packing some earplugs and watching our video below for tips to reduce noise.
Prefer a different mask? The AirMini can be used with any CPAP mask with the purchase of the compatibility pack during checkout.
Is there a way to permanently turn off the data wifi transmission ?

Just received, works well, with slightly more noise than my everyday machine.
I purchased this unit for travel. It definitely delivers on being smaller than a standard CPAP unit.
If I could change one thing, it would be the face mask for this unit. It is one large piece and while traveling I have been careful how it is packed so that the head piece is not broken.
I just used my AirMini for the first time during a 3 day trip this week. It's so much more convenient and easy to pack than my full size CPAP. I didn't use the HumidX because my P10 AirMini setup pack hasn't arrived yet. But even without it, I got good sleep each night. Very glad I finally pulled the trigger and got the AirMini.
Other reviews implied this would be noisy enough to be annoying. Not so. It is 2 feet from my head and I can't hear it. I do hear more air noise from my mask, but I improved that by changing the starting pressure to 4, which was easy. It is a tiny device that does every thing my big unit does, and the smart phone ap is superior. My insurance didn't cover this, but I'm happy with the purchase.
I have a resmed air sense 11 for my home. And needed a travel cpap. I love my AirMini it's amazing how small and convenient it is. I got the hose adapter so o can use any mask and I think it's very quiet. I highly recommended AirMini
Great product, small enough to take anywhere whether an overnight stay or even a vacation away. Has great airflow and the fact that you don’t have use haul distilled water everywhere is great. I love this product!
Just what I have been looking for and at a great price. Everything weighs about 1.5 lbs at fits in a nice pouch that fits in my backpack. Much better than lugging around my home unit when traveling.
This little machine will be my go to for travel. It’s small enough for my carry on bag and I’ll be able to use it where I need. Great to have!
The Airmini is a great travel device. Very quiet and easy to setup and use. The lack of humidification is the only draw back, but what do you expect for a device small enough to put in your back pocket. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a smaller device for traveling.
In the past, I always carried a Dreamstation with me when traveling. Even for short trips of just one day, I brought it along for a good night's sleep, but it was quite cumbersome due to its large size. Then, I purchased an AirMini! Its compact size allows me to simply put it in my backpack when I go out. And at airport security checks, I don’t even need to take it out, unlike with the Dreamstation, where I had to remove it during checks.
Much better than my previous device, more relaxing sleep time
I called Respshop after I was diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea. My doctor told me I had severe obstructive sleep apnea and needed to use CPAP therapy in order to control the apneas that caused me to stop breathing. My doctor gave me a prescription for an Auto Cpap with pressures of 6cmH20 - 15cmH20. I was lucky to speak to a very informative customer service representative who is a Certified Polysomnographic technician! I was impressed to be able to speak to someone educated in the field of sleep. Respshop walked me through the different CPAPs that would be compatible to my prescribed pressures. I learned about all the pros and cons and settings of each. When Respshop explained the Remote Data Compliance service to me, I knew I wanted to purchase a CPAP with a built in modem. To be able to have this knowledgeable support available to me was very reassuring. Respshop will be able to view my data, evaluate and advise me about the data and even make changes to my settings remotely. I cannot wait to receive my new CPAP. Thank you Respshop.
Dear RespShop,
I love my new Air Mini! It works great and accomplishes everything my AirSense 10 does. I would like to also applaud RespShop, the vendor, whom I purchased it from. From the get-go I was greeted by phone with the utmost courtesy and patience in answer all of my questions. Laura, one of the professionals on staff went out of her way to make me feel comfortable with the purchase and outlined all of the equipment I would need. I am most grateful for her input. The machine arrived when it said it would and there was also no shipping charge. Hurray!
Please continue doing what you do best. You obviously are the "CPAP experts"!

Love this machine! Very portable and great for traveling. Recently went to Hawaii with my grandkids and brought my AirMini. The whole family appreciated it. It's really easy to adjust the settings and control it via the app-based interface on my phone! It's great that it includes waterless humidification too.
This unit is very quiet and easy to use. I'm back to sleeping all night after replacing an old, weak CPAP with this one.
This was a true game changer as my third cpap machine. I thought that I’d never sleep well with a cpap until I got this machine. Best sleep in 15 years. It’s so light and portable too!
Love it!
Reviews said it was loud?
NOT TRUE AT ALL!
If you are not used to the sound of your breathing in the tube; that is all the sound that I get.
It also just takes a little adaptor to use with my SoClean
I hope that Philips makes good on replacing my dream machine but I am very happy with this. And will have this for traveling or just keep using it at home. Would appreciate an app that would keep track of use time. I need this to keep up CDL certification!
It works well for me and I am very happy with it. I don’t think I have any complaints yet but I have only had this new one for a couple of weeks now.
The size and portability is great especially for people that travel. The machine itself isn't noisy buy when you inhale and exhale it's loud. So much so that I didn't sleep the first night with it. After I bought $200.00 worth of accessories that made ituvh better.
I purchased this device for travel situations. I gave it a "test drive" at home the evening of the day I got it. Overall, I am satisfied. It is louder than my AirSense 10 but my numbers for the night were normal and I felt fine upon arising. I'm traveling internationally this fall and plan to use the AirMini on the 15-hour flight.
Whilst I am sure I will be happy with this product I bought it for immediate travel and could not use it because I was not informed of all the accessories requirements to make it operational , like buying a car but with no wheeels
Got the AirMini after having to check a bag in order to travel with the DreamStation I started using just after Covid shutdown. It comfortably fits in my backpack with my laptop, iPad, snacks, etc. Had no trouble setting it up initially, including the app. I liked the app tour that demonstrated adjusting the pressure. It is a little louder, but the trade off for travel is well worth it. I didn't try the F20 HumidX because it was plenty humid. That might make a difference in the winter. I was a bit annoyed about incompatible tubing but decided to try a different mask rather than an adaptor because I wasn't overly happy with my current one. I expect to do try experiments and settle on one mask I can use with both machines.
Any help?
I don't like the fact that I have to use my smart phone to operate the machine. A simple on/off and mechanical ability to adjust the settings would be preferable. The smartphone requirement is intrusive, and an invasion of privacy. I have not taken the machine out of the box, and I am considering returning it and finding one that does not require such elaborate means to use the device.
Hello Mark,
I am sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with your purchase. If you would prefer another method to access your data, we do have other options! The Transcend Micro might be a better fit, as it requires a computer, not an application, to access your data. Please call us at 866-936-3754 so that one of our agents can assist you in finding a better solution!
The travel machines certainly do not have the same insulation as the 'stationary' machines so the noise level is higher. For use periodically, when travelling, the size and convenience outweighs the sound for others. We all have different tolerances. We will be happy to help you with a non travel cpap order. Have you seen the NEW Dreamstation 2 that just came out today?
