Q. What is the purpose of this ? Can I not leave it the airmini on my bed or side table.
A. Yes, you can certainly leave the machine on your side table. However, the machine is light weight and it may easily be pulled off the table. We do not recommend putting any PAP device in the bed with you. Machines require to be able to breathe and accidentally placing your blanket over the machine may cause the motor to heat up.
The mount is there to ensure the machine is safe and sound and doesn't knock down off the table or bed easily.

Q. With the mount in place on the Airmini, will the device still fit in ResMed AirMini Hard Travel Case?
A. Yes, it will fit in the larger travel case for sure.
Q. Once the bracket is on the air mini, is it removable or is it permanently affixed? And are the drawer and mattress attachments moveable? I would like to be able to travel with the flexibility of using whichever attachment is most convenient for my hotel.
A. It is removable and you can take it with you place to place.

I bought this mounting system for my travels, and I must say it has exceeded my expectations in every way!
