These humidifiers fit perfectly in the F20 mask.
Although they do limit the flow a little bit, it is more than made up by the ability to create the moisture needed to stop my throat from getting dry, satisfying the need to have to take distilled water with me when I travel.

It's a MIRACLE!!! I purchased the AirMini with the expectation that I would be able to use the waterless HumidX system. Of course, the regular HumidX only works with the N20 and P10 ResMed masks. BIG problem for those of us who use the ResMed Full face masks, and BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! The technician who was helping me get fitted for a new mask told me he thought ResMed was working on a system to use with the full face masks. He called me later and told me he found it available on the internet. Lo and behold, I found it online with RespShop! HumidX F20 is a miracle that snaps right into my AirTouch F20 mask. It will also work with the AirFit F20. There is not yet a HumidX for the F30 mask, but I hear they are working on it. Can the F20 Humidx, item number 38013 be used with my bedside (i.e. full size resmed machine)? I have it set as high as I can get without it making a ton of noise, and I am still super dry.
It is meant to be only be used with the AirMini set up. Normally your machine should not make noise, have you been experiencing lots of mask leakage? This would be the main cause of dry mouth with a high humidity setting. Do you have a heated hose for your machine? Increasing the tube temperature will allow the air to hold more moisture. I have switched from the Resmed N20 nasal mask to the Resmed F20 full face mask. I wish to use it with my Airmini travel CPAP. Please confirm the Humidx for the F20 is different from what I used with my nasal mask.
You are correct. The F20 Humidx, item number 38013 is different from the Humidx needed for the nasal mask. If you are alternating masks you will need to stock up on both types of Humidx.

What causes the VERYunpleasant smell from the HumidX F20 humidifier?
After the first night of using a new cartridge recently, I woke with vertigo which lasted about 1 hour. I am very concerned about the possible damage these chemicals may be doing to my brain/ other organs. How can I avoid this smell? Hi there, I am sorry that you are experiencing an unpleasant smell from the HumidX. Some people appear to be more sensitive to it than others. You may want to consider running the device without wearing it for a few hours to see if that will get rid of the smell. You may need to turn the Auto OFF function off to do this.
