A. Hi there,
This tubing does not have any electronic components. You may wish to look at the heated tubing (SKU# HT15) which has prongs that attach to the DreamStation and provide electricity for the heated tubing.

Q. Does this tube work with Respironics remstar Auto A flex? Also which one to choose short tube for exhalation that is compatible with long tube?

A. yes it works with the Remstar auto. It is a universal tubing and is compatible with all CPAP machines except the airmini. The short tube for exhalation is a part of your mask and will connect to this tube. Simply push it into the tube.

The hose comes detached from the mask several times during the night. The last one I had always stayed attached.

It sounds like you may be missing a connection on your mask. Please check your old tube for that part which is often stuck in the old tube! Please call us, we have a video about this issue.

Subject: Philips 6ft Performance CPAP Tubing
Makes a loud crinkly noise when you move and that can wake you or a sleeping partner up (it does for me and my wife). Also, it tends to hold some of it's bent shape from shipping and does not uncoil correctly, causing it to wrap around me more. It does function, but I would not buy this model again though. Other ones I have purchased are must quieter and uncoil without keeping their shape.
