Respironics PR System One BiPAP AutoSV with Humidifier
Advanced Comfort BiPAP for Exceptional Performance
The Respironics PR System One 60 Series BiPAP autoSV 960TS Advanced was created to help you manage complex sleep disordered breathing with its advanced technological designs. A BiPAP machine integrated with Auto EPAP technology, the Respironics 960TS monitors each individual breath and will automatically change pressure settings based off of your every need during use. Advanced BiPAPs can manage Complex Sleep Apnea by constantly adapting to your inhalation and exhalation needs on a breath by breath basis. The Respironics 960TS features an Auto EPAP technology, a backup rate that encourages spontaneous breathing, a Servo Ventilation algorithm for smooth breathing, and the System One Resistance Control that all of the Respironics 60 series machines come equipped with.
Bi Flex Technology
Bi Flex provides consistent pressure relief helping to improve your comfort levels during BiPAP therapy. Bi Flex technology will help imitate a more natural feel during use by reducing pressure during exhalation to inhalation and vice versa.
Auto EPAP Technology
EPAP will distinguish your breathing patterns and determine the differences between obstructed apneas and apneas where your airway is clear. The Respironics PR System One 960DS has an auto titrating algorithm which allows for the device to operate like a typical Auto CPAP or an Auto BiPAP, adjusting to your breathing when needed to help maintain a clear airway.
Backup Rate
Prevents Complex or Central Sleep Apnea by helping the user spontaneously breathe at a natural rate comfortable to them.
SV Algorithm
Servo Ventilation will provide a smooth breathing pattern by changing pressure when needed on a breath by breath basis. Your peak flow will be monitored throughout BiPAP use, and the SV Algorithm will support a stable breathing cycle.
Philips Respironics System One Resistance Control
Designed to attain your optimal pressure in the mask, resistance control will monitor the resistance on the mask and will automatically change the pressure settings at the mask that you receive a consistent pressure from the tube on the mask end.
Humidifier
Helping to increase your comfort during BiPAP therapy, a humidifier will help manage the rainout in your tube and mask. Consistent humidity will be delivered into the tube providing relieve at the mask. Rainout can cause irritation after sleep apnea therapy by allowing for excess moisture into the mouth or nose during use, resulting in side effects such as a sore throat or dry nose after undergoing BiPAP or CPAP therapy. There are three different levels of humidity available that you can choose from, allowing you to raise or lower your humidity dependent upon your daily needs due to the inclement weather in your room.
Optional Heated Tubing
You can purchase heated tubing as an add on option that will ensure that the humidity levels from your humidifier will stay constant all the way until the mask. There are five different levels of temperature available, from four degrees up to sixteen degrees. Your temperature will be consistent throughout the tube and up until the mask.

Reviewers Tip:
If you are a long time CPAP or BiPAP user who has experienced the condition known as "rainout", or in other words, had a lot of condensation in your mask and tubing due to the ambient temperatures in your room, heated tubing is probably the way to go. Not only will it be a comfort feature, it will ensure that the moisture that gets in your tube will be heated and evaporate on the way to your mask providing extreme comfort.
Connecting the Respironics System One 60 Series Heated Tubing
Supplemental Oxygen Compatibility
For those who require supplemental oxygen during CPAP therapy, a Respironics Pressure Valve must be placed in between the CPAP machine and oxygen source. Preventing the back-flow of oxygen into the device while off, the pressure valve must be used to rule out the risk of fire hazard.
FAQ
Do I need heated tubing if I have a humidifier?
No, you can use standard performance tubing if you prefer. Condensation can build up in your BiPAPs tubing and CPAP mask dependent upon the ambient temperatures, and heated tubing will eliminate rainout. Rainout occurs when there is too much condensation in the mask or tube, resulting in excess moisture entering the mask area and sometimes causing sleep apnea therapy users to wake up experiencing a sore throat or dry nasal area. We recommend heated tubing if your machine is housed in an extreme climate. Some CPAP therapy users also find heated tubing as a bonus comfort feature.
How do I know if I need a BiPAP versus a CPAP machine?
All types of machines will be prescribed by your doctor dependent upon what type of sleep apnea you have. Your doctor will ensure that you are tested for a certain type of a sleep apnea and prescribe the type of machine from there. We can help you with your orders when we have a copy of your prescription.
What kind of water should I be using in my humidifier?
We always recommend distilled water in any type of CPAP or BiPAP humidifier. Tap water will work and deliver exceptional comfort, however it will likely cause calcium and other materials to build up in your water chamber, which will shorten the life span and require you to replace the chamber more frequently. You should fill your water chamber daily for best results during sleep apnea therapy.
I want to ask about the price in the UAE market and Lebanese market .
I need A Bipap machine for my husband he is having sleep apnea .
Pls confirm it is safe to use the Sleep8 sanitizer filter bag. The internet information is contradictory on both these questions.
Thank you.
