ResMed AirSense 11 CPAP ClimateLineAir Heated Tubing - 6.6 ft
The ClimateLine Air heated tubing is exclusively for use with AirSense 11 Series CPAP machine. The heated tubing uses a built-in mask temperature sensor to reach relative humidity at the mask. Sensors inside and outside the CPAP machine closely monitor changes in humidity and prevents condensation from forming inside the tube. When used with the device humidifier tub, ClimateLineAir 11 heated air tubing allows you to use the Climate Control feature.
Most users enjoy using heated CPAP tubes because these devices help to reduce CPAP side effects like rainout and dry mouth. The warm air keeps the inflow of moisture smooth and allows you to sleep easier by ensuring that you get the most out of your humidifier.
Climate Control
When a ClimateLineAir tube is attached to your AirSense 11, it will automatically engage the Auto Climate Control Mode. Climate Control is designed to make therapy more comfortable by enabling constant temperature and maintaining humidity.

Cleaning Instruction
Wash weekly in warm water with mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry. Do not reattach ClimateLineAir tubing to your CPAP until the tubing is completely dry. Please read page 11 of the user manual for complete instructions.

The ClimateLineAir and the ClimateLine intended for ResMed's S9 CPAP machines are not compatible tubing options. The ClimateLineAir will only work with AirSense 10 devices.

Guidelines from ResMed for CPAP hose replacement:
CPAP mask tubing may develop small holes or tears, which can cause air leaks. If your tube is leaking, you may not be receiving your prescribed therapy setting from your CPAP. This can cause you to feel like you’re not sleeping as well.

Why do you need a heated CPAP hose?
The main reason for a heated hose is to avoid moisture build up in the CPAP tube.
If you use a fan at night or if your bed is near a window, sometimes the moisture from the humidifier can condense and pool in the hose before it gets to your airway.
When this happens, it can wake you up by creating a loud popping sound as the air blows past the water, and in some cases can cause what we refer to as "rain out" where the water starts to splash on to your face or pour in to your nose.
The heated hose insulates the air from the cooler temperatures in your room to avoid this.
You can also adjust the heat in the hose for your comfort making this a great option to the standard hose!

Can you please tell me what tube setting I should have on the air sense 11 autoset model for a climateline tube. Should I select ‘slimline’ or ‘standard’. Resmed user manual unhelpfully doesn’t say. Thank you. (Asked on 05/25/2022)
For the climatelineair tubing, you don't have to select a tube setting because the machine will automatically detect the "climatelineair tubing" is plugged in (there's a chip on the end of the tubing).
Is the tubing supposed to feel warm?
