1x ClimateLineAir 11 Heated Tube

ResMed ClimateLineAir 11 Heated Tubing for AirSense/AirCurve 11

The ResMed AirSense 11 heated hose is designed exclusively for ResMed AirSense 11 CPAP machines and AirCurve 11 bilevel devices. This heated tubing features advanced temperature-sensing technology which prevents condensation by maintaining a consistent temperature throughout the entire length of the tube.

Key Features:

  • Maintains consistent tube temperature to prevent rainout
  • Enables Climate Control on AirSense 11 CPAPs & AirCurve 11 bilevel machines
  • Works with all CPAP masks with 22 mm connections
When used with the machine, the ClimateLineAir 11 Heated Tubing enables Climate Control, ResMed's smart humidification feature. Climate Control maintains a consistent temperature and comfortable humidity setting throughout the night and can be set to Auto or Manual, depending on your preference.

With a slim 15 mm inner diameter and a length of 6.6 ft, the ResMed ClimateLineAir 11 Heated Tubing is lightweight and flexible, making it easy to manage during sleep.

Why Do You Need a Heated Tube?

Heated CPAP tubing serves one primary purpose: preventing moisture buildup in the tube. The heated and humidified air from your CPAP machine cools as it travels from the machine to your face, leading to condensation buildup that, in extreme cases, result in water sloshing around in your hose and mask.

If there is a draft nearby (e.g., you sleep with a fan on or near the window), or if you sleep with the AC on, the odds of this happening is even greater.

Condensation in your CPAP tubing is a problem as air flowing past the water droplets can create loud popping sounds that disrupt your sleep. Excess condensation or rainout can result in water splashing onto your face or even into your nose!

Using a heated hose solves these problems because the heated hose helps maintain a constant temperature throughout your CPAP circuit. This temperature control insulates the air inside the tubing from the cooler temperature in its surroundings.

As an added bonus, you can even adjust the temperature in the heated hose for your comfort, making this a great upgrade to the standard hose!

The ClimateLineAir 11 Heated Tube has a length of 6 feet 6 inches (2 m) and an inner diameter of 15 mm.
Clean weekly with warm water and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and hang to air dry away from direct sunlight.
Replace every 6 to 12 months, or when damaged.

11–20 of 26 Questions
Q. Where can I find supplies for a resmed series 9 H5i
A. Unfortunately, that item is no longer available as the S9 is no longer in production. You can use a non heated tube. https://www.respshop.com/cpap-supplies/tubing/respironics-standard-plastic-tubing-for-cpap-machine-p-998.htm
Q. My attachment to the machine AirSense 11 heated hose is different from lthe one I ordered
A. Please call us so we can help you. 866 936 3754
Q. The ResMed AirSense 11 air hose is 6 feet long, and I'm only 4'10". How do I make sure it's rinsed well?
A. You can soak/rinse in the bathtub. Allow the water to go through the entire tubing and hang to dry.
Q. What tubing is compatible with p30i headgear? I have an air curve 11 machine. The connector at the top of the headgear does not fit into the tubing.
A. You can use any CPAP tubing, standard or heated tubing with the P30i and the Aircurve. Please look at the elbow at the top of your mask. You should see a white tube adapter attached to the elbow. If it is not there, you will find it stuck in the end of your previous tube. Just remove it, put it back on your mask and use any tube you prefer.
Q. I have an AirSense 10 and have been using the Climate Line heated tubing. I understand they are supposed to be replaced every 6 months, but I cannot tell how old each one is because when I get a new one, I like to keep one as a backup and sometimes get the new and older tubing mixed up, and I don't see any visible markings on the tubing to help. How may I determine which are the older tubes once I open a new one to keep them apart?
A. Perhaps you could mark the tube with something -permanent marker or a sticker?
Q. I just purchased this tubing, do I choose the standard tube or slimline tube setting on my machine ?
A. You would choose standard under the machine settings if you have the heated tube and if you switch back to a non heated tube, you would want to choose slim line tubing.
Q. I've been using this tube for about a year. I just replaced it about a month ago but now noticed a change in the temperature. The new tube (exact same model) delivers cool air the same as the old one, but now periodically seems to either stop cooling the air or sends warm air through the tube. This can go on for about 10-15 minutes before it starts adjusting back to the cool air. Is this a faulty tube?
A. Be sure the settings for the climateline tube are the same as they were initially. Auto or manual? If settings are the same, please give us a call to discuss further.
Q. Do they make this hose in a lighter version
A. I am sorry they do not.
Q. Is there a shorter hose available? I don't need the heated tubing (as I don't use the humidifier). Can you point me?
A. Hi there, we have universal non-heated tubing you can view here in different sizes:https://www.respshop.com/cpap-supplies/tubing/sunset-universal-cpap-tubing-p-810.html
Q. Reading on your site that the Climateline for the Resmed Airsense 11 is over 6ft in length, is this accurate?
A. The length is 6.6ft (2 meters).

Subject: Airsense 11 Climatelineair tubing
I was diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea a year ago. I was not provided with much information at all. I got a cpap and a mask and was told to use it each night. I would attempt to use it every night. Each night I would attempt to use CPAP therapy. Once I was lying down, wearing my mask, I would start feeling optimistic about being able to wear the mask all night. This would be the night, I would tell myself. I would sleep soundly for a couple of hours and then I would wake to a loud noise and water spitting at me! It was alarming! I would be grossed out and frustrated and TIRED. I would go back to sleep without my mask. I eventually quit using it. Feeling guilty about my non compliance I did some research and found RespShop.com What an impressive website! I called through and the kind, informative customer service explained I needed a ClimatelineAir tubing. This tube allows my humidification to be set as I need it and no more waking to noise or water in my face! Get a ClimateLineAir tube!

My original tube has started to come apart on the mask end. I needed a Spare in case it separated. Respshop with their fast shipping was able to get me a new one prior to total separation. Good value also.

Subject: Airsence 11 ClimateLine tubing
When i bought my Airsence 11, i oped for the heated tubing. So far i have been using my Cpap machine for about 2 months. Having the AC on keeping the room at around 70 degrees, with the humidifier using about half to 3/4th of the water placed in the water tub. In that 2 months each morning i check the line and found no accumulation of water droplets in the heated line, and the 12" section of the unheated line for my resmed nasal mask. From this stand point it looks like the mask is working perfectly, and i have no regrets buying the heated line with the Airsence 11. Although, if i was to do it again i would go above it differently. For instance, if you select the heated tubing option for the Resmed airsence 11, its a additional 40 dollars, and this is the only hose supplied with the machine. The Climate-line hose by its self sells for 46 dollars.

It would be a much better deal for a person to buy the Airsence11 with the slime line hose, and then add on a climate-line hose for a additional 46 dollars. Then one would have a spare slime-line hose that only cost 6 dollars instead of the listed 32 dollars for a slimline hose on the sight. At least then if your climate line hose has a leak you have a spare one to use tell you order a new hose.
