Adaptive Servo-Ventilation (ASV) Mode
ResMed’s ASV algorithm learns your breathing pattern and auto-adjusts pressure to help maintain stable breathing. By tracking multiple points in time throughout each breath, it learns when to deliver a breath that is in sync with your unique breathing.
In ASV mode, the exhalation pressure (EPAP) is fixed while the pressure support (PS) changes within a set range based on your needs.
ASVAuto Mode
In ASVAuto mode, the AirCurve 11 ASV takes your comfort to the next level. The BiPAP monitors the state of your upper away in real time, adjusting the exhalation pressure (EPAP) only as needed to keep your airway open. EPAP varies within your set minimum and maximum EPAP values.
Enhanced Comfort
Designed to make it easier to start therapy, the AirCurve 11 ASV features Ramp, a comfort setting that is available in all modes. Ramp helps you fall asleep by starting treatment at a lower pressure (Start EPAP) over a set time period of 5 to 45 minutes. For maximum comfort, pressure support (PS) remains at the minimum setting during Ramp.

User-Friendly
Navigating the AirCurve 11 ASV is easy with its large color touchscreen and intuitive menu settings. Starting therapy is just as straightforward — simply breathe into your mask or press the prominent on/off button located at the top of the machine. To stop therapy, press the same button again or take your mask off.
The humidifier water tub is removable for cleaning and comes in a dishwasher safe version (AirSense/AirCurve 11 Cleanable Water Tub), if you prefer to let your dishwasher do all the work.

Humidification Optimized
Enhance your therapy comfort with the built-in heated humidifier, which maintains humidity and temperature to prevent dry mouth and nose. You can manually set the humidity level on a scale from 1 to 8 and the temperature from 60 to 86°F (16 to 30°C). Or, pair the AirCurve 11 ASV with the ClimateLineAir 11 Heated Tubing to enable Climate Control Auto mode and let the machine optimize your humidification.
Designed to minimize the need for humidity and temperature changes, Climate Control Auto keeps the air at a comfortable 85% relative humidity and the tube temperature at 80°F (27°C). The ClimateLineAir 11 Heated Tubing also keeps air temperature constant to prevent excess condensation/rainout in your mask and hose.
Oxygen Therapy Support
The ResMed AirCurve 11 ASV is compatible with supplemental oxygen up to 15 L/min. To track your oxygen level on PAP therapy, pair the device with the NONIN WristOx2 Oximeter Model 3150 (sold separately), which connects to the AirCurve 11 via Bluetooth.
Who is the AirCurve 11 ASV for?
The AirCurve 11 ASV is designed for users with central sleep apnea (CSA), obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), mixed apneas or periodic breathing.* A sleep specialist will specify if an ASV is right for you.
*ASV therapy is not suitable for those with chronic, symptomatic heart failure (NYHA 2-4) with reduced left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF ≤ 45%) and moderate to severe predominant central sleep apnea.
What tubing can I use with the AirCurve 11 ASV?
The AirCurve 11 ASV is compatible with the ClimateLineAir 11 Heated Tubing as well as any non-heated tubing.
What filters are compatible with the AirCurve 11 ASV?
The AirCurve 11 ASV uses Air11 Disposable Filters and Air11 Hypoallergenic Filters. Only one type of filter can be used in the device at a time.
Can I use the AirCurve 11 ASV on the plane?
The AirCurve 11 ASV is FAA-approved for in-flight use. For more information, refer to the "Technical Data" section for the air travel compliance letter.
How do I clean and maintain the AirCurve 11 ASV?
As needed: wipe the machine's exterior with a damp cloth.
Daily or every other day: empty the water chamber to prevent bacteria growth.
Weekly: clean the water tub, outlet connector and tubing
The outlet connector and water tub (cleanable version) can also be cleaned in the dishwasher.
Can I use the AirCurve 11 ASV without the humidifier?
The AirCurve 11 ASV’s built-in humidifier cannot be physically removed. However, you can turn it off by setting the humidity level on the device to "Off." You can also replace the water chamber with the Air11 Side Cover, which automatically disables the humidifier and makes the machine more compact.
Can the AirCurve 11 ASV send therapy data to my doctor?
Yes, the AirCurve 11 ASV can send your sleep data to your doctor via its built-in cellular modem. This lets your doctor monitor your therapy progress and adjust settings remotely. The AirCurve 11 ASV does not send data via Wi-Fi.
Can I use oxygen with the AirCurve 11 ASV?
You can use the AirCurve 11 ASV with up to 15 L/min of supplemental oxygen. Please refer to our video, “How to Connect Oxygen to a CPAP or BiPAP” for a step-by-step guide.
Is the myAir app required to use the AirCurve 11 ASV?
While the myAir app is a useful resource to help you adjust to and stay consistent with PAP therapy, it is not required to use the device.
How can I track my sleep therapy progress?
You can track your therapy progress (AHI, usage time, mask leak) with the myAir app or directly on the machine under “My Sleep View”.
