Is it just me or does it feel like everything is memory foam these days? Pillows, chair cushions, mattresses. And now CPAP nasal cushions. I digress, but really the main selling point of this N20 is the memory foam cushion. Like many CPAP users, I had troubles with uncomfortable cushions in the past that would leave lines or sit funny on my nose. Memory foam seemed like the perfect solution so that’s why I ended up paying for this mask.
Honestly, it’s really, really good so far. The N20 is by far the favorite one I’ve ever used. The memory foam cushion is every bit as good as it sounds. Perfectly countours to my nose, stops all leaks, and doesn’t leave harsh red lines or imprints. The only thing is I’m not entirely sure how/if you can clean the cushion. On the old silicon ones, I would just wipe it down with a damp towel but I imagine that would mess with the composition of the foam. Also I’m not sure how the foam will hold up over time, it still has its elasticity a few months in but I can’t speak to longer term consistency.
The mask is also just pretty comfortable overall, I like the lack of a nose bridge thing. Those always bothered me and messed with my central vision. Harness is good and light, a nice breathable material. No problems with adjustment and Velcro strap decay isn’t really an issue since there’s the magnetic clips. All in all, I really like this mask. The memory foam absolutely lives up to expectations and otherwise it’s a fundamentally sound mask.
