AirFit F30i Full Face CPAP Mask by ResMed
Sleep the way you want with the ResMed AirFit F30i Full Face Mask, a minimal contact CPAP mask designed for both comfort and freedom of movement.
An ultra compact under-the-nose cushion prevents pressure and soreness on the nasal bridge while the all-silicone frame conforms to the face for a gentle yet secure fit. The frame also opens up the face so you can comfortably read, watch TV and wear glasses.
Enjoy the flexibility to sleep in any position! The F30i’s top-of-the-head tube connection ensures your CPAP hose stays out of the way, while the soft frame and 360° swivel allow for unrestricted movement throughout the night.
For optimal therapy comfort, the AirFit F30i comes in multiple frame and cushion sizes. Choose from three frame sizes (small, medium, large) and four cushion sizes (small, small-wide, medium, wide)* to find your perfect fit.
*Small-wide cushion sold separately.
Daily cleaning: cushion
- Disassemble the mask.
- Soak the mask parts in warm water with mild soap. Avoid soaking for more than 10 minutes.
- Use a soft bristle brush to gently clean the holes in the cushion and elbow.
- Rinse all parts thoroughly under running water, squeezing out excess water from the headgear.
- Lay parts out to air dry away from direct sunlight.
The silicone cushion, however, may need to be replaced more frequently, typically every 2 to 3 months. Silicone naturally softens over time, which can affect its ability to create a good seal.
- Gently pull the mask away from your face and then release it, allowing the cushion seal to inflate and settle comfortably under your nose and around your mouth.
- Make sure to clean both your mask cushion and your face, as facial oils can interfere with the seal.
- Ensure you're wearing your AirFit F30i mask according to the fitting instructions in the user guide. The way you put on the mask significantly impacts the seal.
- Adjust your headgear as necessary.
- Try a larger or smaller cushion or frame size.
- Replace any worn out mask parts.
Thanking you in advance
Next, try holding the cushion up to your face with no straps on but have the hose attached to the CPAP machine at a low pressure setting (turn the ramp feature on). This will allow you to remove the mask quickly so you do not feel panicked.
Finally wear the mask with the straps and with the air pressure machine turned on while awake, have some soft music, read a book or turn on your favorite show for some distraction. After you're comfortable with that, try sleeping with it on.
If you're still feeling claustrophobic, talk to your doctor. It may help to get a different size mask or try a different style, such as one that uses nasal pillows and a chin strap.
Small frame (575-615mm) or 22 5/8"-243/8"
Medium Frame (619-653mm) or 24 3/8"-25 11/16"
Large Frame (654-695mm) or 25 11/6"- 27 3/8"
The air coming out from the top of the head is normal. There are tiny little holes on the elbow for your C02 to escape. This is needed so you are not retaining large amounts of C02. No ring is supposed to be removed. There should be no forcing, you would here a click in and squeeze the side to remove the hose from the elbow. Game Changer! Hands down, the most comfortable mask available.
I recently purchased a ResMed AirFit F30i hybrid full facemask system from Respshop. They are the most responsive and helpful supplier of cpap equipment I have worked with.
Fits great and is so quiet! I LOVE the hose over the head, makes it so easy to turn around in bed without getting tangled in the tubing.
Very nice and comfortable mask it’s a winner.. Dealing with the respshop.com is great. Thank You
CPAP mask 30 is a great mask again this is my first time wearing one very comfortable would highly recommend it
I really like the resmed F30i full face mask. The dreamwear that I have been wearing made my nose very sore ( I had to modify it )but so far the resmed has not. I was having trouble with the frame being to big also and this frame fit much better. I also feel like I am get more air. The connection to the tubing is much easier to disconnect as well. the connection of frame to cushion is easier as well. all in all I am very happy with the new system.
This mask is loaded with the newest features. I've found them to have improved my experience significantly over older masks, and it's made the mask more convenient and comfortable to use. I like that I can sleep on my side without issue, and that the hose connection is located away from my face. The magnets work well for me and overall I've been able to sleep very well.
Before this mask I never tried the side air tube designs before, so I was a little worried about how sleeping on one side would work in terms of air flow. But after using the F30i for a month now, I want to assure prospective buyers that it’s not an issue at all. Sleeping on one side, I had no problem breathing fully through the non-compressed tube. I’m a huge fan of this feature now since it’s a nearly-seamless side-sleeping experience.
The other part I worried about before buying this mask was how I would like the cushion, since it’s a design that sits under your nose rather than over. But I actually really like this cushion and it relieved some of the pressure on my upper nose, which always bothered me with standard designs. I tried memory foam and dual layer designs on standard cushions, but this cushion instantly beat out all of those. Simply put, it’s just a great mask that’s well worth the high investment cost.
My favorite feature is that the tube connector sits on the top of your head, and it pivots 360. This means that I can finally run the hose towards the headboard of my bed, keeping it off my body/arm. Not sleeping with that extra weight makes a world of difference. The connector also has a quick release which means it’s really easy to disconnect when I want to get up in the middle of the night.
Also, the dual tubes going down both sides of the face are genius, they let me sleep however I want. I can sleep on my side and the air will just go through the tube on the side of my body facing up. No problems with air flow in any configuration. Adjusting the mask is fine too, the headgear is soft and has sufficient straps. The magnet clasps are a nice touch, easy to take off.
Probably most importantly, the cushion/frame are comfortable. Full disclaimer, I normally use a nasal mask, so I’ve never really liked full face cushions. I purchased this mask for when I have nasal congestions and I actually feel this is very comfortable. The cushion hangs “under” the nose and over your mouth, which feels nice. No leakage issues to report either.
The only complaint I have is that the cushion and frame are two different parts, and each has its own size you’ll have to keep track of. Made it a little difficult for me to get the right fit at first, I had to try a few different combinations.
All in all, it’s a great full face mask with a lot of nice features that make it comfortable.
THE MASK IS FLEXIBLE ENOUGH TO PROVIDE UNIMPEDED AIR FLOW AND FLEXIBILITY.
I like this mask probably better than any mask I have tried. My only problem is right after I ordered it, it was put on sale. Seems you could have let me know it was about to be cheaper.
Even with humidifier the nasal masks dry my nasal passages.
Like another user's review I also had one of the face frame plastic clips that attaches the head frame to the mask cushion brake. Thus making mask useless.
IMO for the price the clips are poor/ weak plastic design.
Guess ResMed plastic clip design to ensure one does not use the face frame beyond ResMed's three month use period.
Follow-up to my previous review.
Like others have noted the Mask Frame plastic clips that snap onto the Mask Cushion are too brittle of a plastic for their purpose. They crack or break far too easily with the daily removal and replacing for daily Mask Cushion cleaning.
My first two mask frames broke/ cracked within two month use period.
Been using other full face CPAP Masks for over 10 years without any part(s) breakage. I as VERY careful in removal replacement of mask cushion from the mask frame, and the tab still cracked enough that the mask frame end did not snap into the mask cushion.
For the $64.00 ResMed should be using a FAR better quality plastic and/ or design for the face mask attachment to the mask cushion.
I really like the overall design/ comfort of the "ResMed AirFit F30i Full Face CPAP Mask" but if my THIRD Mask Frame fails as the two previous Mask Frames, it will be the 'LAST' one I'll buy.
Hi there, I am so sorry to hear this! I have not had any issues with my F30i but I do rotate out my masks. Please call us so we can get this rectified for you as we do have a Mask Assurance Policy!

When first fitted to my face, the unit feels comfortable. However, as the night goes on, and I toss and turn, it seems to knock the mask out of place and air leaks seem to grow in numbers.
I’ve had to abandon using the unit in favor of a full over the nose face mask which I find uncomfortable, but effective.
I’ve come to the conclusion that the AirFit 30i will work well as long as the back of your head stays on the pillow, and you don’t sleep on either side of your face.
I am disappointed in the all around performance and usefulness of this device.
Hi there, we are very sorry this mask did not work out for you. I wonder if you purchased the fit pack or used the sizing gauge to get the correct sizing? Please note that it can take a few masks trials before finding the right one. We have a 30 day mask assurance program which is applicable once every 6 months. We can provide you with store credit towards a different mask or send you out a different size if applicable. Thank you.
I was super excited for this new mask and trying it on, it seemed to fit perfect and was very comfortable. The problem is that it is very easy to have the full face seal leak multiple times per night. I've been using it for 4 nights now and have been woken up by it needing to be re-adjusted. My AHI has been triple these last 4 nights. I would only recommend this if you know you don't move around much in your sleep.
Hi there, thank you for your feedback. It's very important to share with our customers. Please note we do have a 30 day Mask assurance program which is applicable once every 6 months. We can either send a different size out to you or provide store credit towards a different mask. Please give us a call at 866-936-3754 for assistance. Thank you.
The quality of the mask was very good. I appreciate that it should last.
However it is so difficult to get on and off. I got up to use restroom in the night, I dared not even try to put it back on.
Apparently the holes in the nose piece area must line up with the holes in your nose. It’s definitely not an easy trick to accomplish, especially at 2:25 am.
The “horn” as I call it. (The place where the CPAP hose connects) is located in a different place on my head each time I’ve worn it.
The bar, the part of the headpiece that comes across my forehead doesn’t stay, it moves ever so slowly up, I don’t know if it’s going to stay on or not.
The magnetic snaps are seriously too hard to find (Especially at 2am ) so you can snap the mask in place. I seem to have to adjust the straps every time I put it on.
I think the mask concept is good. But practically the mask has series user problems. Suggest designers lesson to the users a little more (ok, a lot more).
I recommend you refund my money and let me get a different mask. This mask cost me alot. I trusted Resmed brand, but I got a lemon.
Thank you for the feed back! It looks like you purchased the frame only. Please contact us so we can get this fixed for you.
