Daily cleaning: cushion, short tube and elbow
- Disassemble the mask.
- Soak the mask parts in warm water with mild soap. Avoid soaking for more than 10 minutes.
- Scrub the vent holes on the elbow with a soft bristle brush.
- Rinse all parts thoroughly under running water, squeezing out excess water from the headgear.
- Lay parts out to air dry away from direct sunlight.
The silicone cushion, however, may need to be replaced more frequently, typically every 2 to 3 months. Silicone naturally softens over time, which can affect its ability to create a good seal.
- Gently pull the mask away from your face and then release it, allowing the cushion seal to inflate and settle comfortably around your nose.
- Make sure to clean both your mask cushion and your face, as facial oils can interfere with the seal.
- Ensure you're wearing your AirFit N20 mask according to the fitting instructions in the user guide. The way you put on the mask significantly impacts the seal.
- Adjust your headgear as necessary.
- Try a larger or smaller cushion size.
- Replace any worn out mask parts.
The one I have from 18 months ago spills air 90 degrees (perpendicular) to the plane of the face. (Through the tiny holes at the junction between the feed hose and the mask proper.) This is an issue as there is no easy way to deflect the air wash away from your partner. If instead, the tiny holes directed air at an oblique angle (as does their competitor's product) then merely turning the feed tube orientation over your head rather than from below for example, would direct the wash away from your partner. My N20 is always straight ahead: no more cuddling.
Is it possible to use Resmed Airfit N20 nasal mask with Non-Magnetic clips?
Are Non-Magnetic clips for Philips Respironics Wisp nasal mask (Philips Headgear Clips For Wisp/DreamWisp Nasal CPAP Mask) suitable for Resmed Airfit N20 nasal mask?

Will there be a replacement tube for this available any time soon? It has a short tube that clips into the mask, then plugs into the main hose from the CPAP. There are many hoses available, but not this one. That hose becomes troublesome because it develops mold easily from all the exhalation, and it is not easy to clean. I feel like replacement is necessary!
Thank you,
Mask and headgear fit great. I like the nose mask much better than the full face mask
I have always like the N20 mask for it's fit and function. Resp Shop provides great support, product selection and low prices. All my supplies are ordered through this team.
I ordered the mask as a replacement for the earlier one. Got it at a good price and was delivered promptly. Happy with the product.
Mask arrived about a week after ordering without any expedited shipping. Mask works great, easy on off with magnetic closures and no leaks.
I forgot an important part of my cpap machine while traveling to the Seattle area, rendering it useless. I had a full week trip planned. I called the Respshop just before my flight to Seattle took off and arranged a rental for the next day. They were absolutely excellent to deal with. The minimum rental was for a month but still very reasonable. My plane landed early and I was able to make it to Respshop that day and they were very accommodating. Thanks to them, I had a restful week of sleep.
Envào rápido y seguro. El producto exactamente lo que pedà y tal cual lo solicite.
I love this mask, the best one out of the ten since 2004. Respitech always comes out with better innovation over the years.
First when I ordered the CPAP machine I got the nasal one, ( Pillow) I was completed satisfied so I ordered the N20 . It more restrained but for me it work better . I toss and turn a lot there for the pillow type did not work. I have been satisfied so far, my mouth and nasal do get a really dry. Trying to work through it by keeping mints or caught drops beside my bed. Hoping this helps me , I had stopped breathing so many time during the night . I have been working with a lady at ResMed by the name of Patty , I am satisfied so far. I contact them directly to order supplies and ask questions ,not on the web, or email them . So far so good.
The new mask and head gear is working out really well. There is much less adjusting in the middle of the night
ResMEd masks seem to get a lot of love and after buying the N20, I agree. It's well made but also lightweight. Secures/seals well and is also comfortable. Highly recommend.
I was looking for a mask to upgrade from the AirFit N10 and figured checking out the N20 was the logical next step. AirFit products have always been quality for me so I had no fears about purchasing the N20. It was advertised as being quieter and more comfortable, and so far it’s lived up to those promises.
The nasal cushion is excellent, it seals just as well as my N10 one did. I would also argue it’s more comfortable and holds on better. Before I would occasionally have slippage on off nights but I haven’t had any of those wit the N20. The new diffuser design is also whisper quiet which is great for me and my partner.
The frame is also great. It’s well-padded, lightweight, and spreads out the pressure evenly. It also holds on very well and is a cinch to take off thanks to the quick release mechanism. The elbow has quick release tabs too so it’s easy to eject the hose when you have to do a quick errand. It’s been easy to adjust and as such, I haven’t had any issues with fit and feel. Make sure to use the size gauge to find the right size cushion for you.
The features that made the F20 my favorite mask are here as well. Magnetic clips make taking the mask off a cinch, and helps prolong the longevity of the Velcro straps. Headgear is soft, light, breathable, and fits well. Well designed to hold the head and mask in place. Quick release elbow on the air feed tube is probably your quickest way to disconnect for midnight excursions.
Of course, the part that changed for me is that the N20 is a nasal cushion rather than full face. Resmed really makes great cushions and these are no different, supremely comfortable. Fits without issue, didn’t have any leakage issues from day 1. Sizing gauge on Respshop was very accurate as well, I’m very certain that I picked up the right size cushion right off the bat. Easy to clean too, I just run it under some warm water and let it air dry. They recommend that you replace the cushion every month but my experience is that it can last some time longer than that.
Resmed is always top of the class in my opinion. The N20 is just another excellent product in their lineup and it’s quickly even supplanting my longtime F20 as my favorite mask. You can’t go wrong either choice.
It is very easy to use, and the fit is great, but unfortunately, it is not the correct mask for me. Because the Airsense 11 was new to me, and my old mask did not work well with it, I purchased this one, hoping it would be the right one. I have since determined that I probably need the full mask type.
The mask was delivered as promised and in a timely manner. It was well packaged and the quality is second to none!
Never have any issues with these masks. The headset lasts about 6 months.
This mask and headpiece stays put better than some others I’ve used. The nasal covering is comfortable and the head gear is a snap to put on or take off.
Otherwise, I would say this mask is pretty ideal for me. Setting up the mask was very intuitive even for me, and I'm able to use my mask without much trouble when I browse my phone before bed. The mask definitely does its job when I'm sleeping. I usually set my pressure on the lower end, and I haven't noticed my mask leaking yet. Also, I sleep on my back, but I haven't really noticed any lines on my face in the morning. A lot of my friends talked about that, so I feel lucky to not really be experiencing that problem.
I'm still on the search for a more comfortable mask, but for now, I'll continue using my Airfit N20. I'm pretty happy with this mask.
I would not order this one again can’t breathe very well with this mask
