AirFit N20 Nasal CPAP Mask by ResMed
The ResMed AirFit N20 Nasal Mask is a comfortable and user-friendly CPAP mask designed to optimize your sleep apnea therapy. With features such as the InfinitySeal cushion, magnetic headgear clips, flexi-tube, and quick-release elbow, the AirFit N20 offers a comfortable, secure, and customizable fit for a wide range of facial features.
InfinitySeal Nasal Cushion
The AirFit N20 features an InfinitySeal cushion, which is designed to fit a wide range of face shapes and sizes. The soft and flexible silicone nasal cushion provides a comfortable and secure seal that helps reduce air leaks during the night. The InfinitySeal cushion is also designed to adapt to your movements during sleep, ensuring a consistent and effective seal no matter your sleeping position.
Multiple Sizes Available
The AirFit N20 nasal cushion is available in three sizes - small, medium, and large - and all sizes come with the standard-sized headgear. The N20 headgear is also available in sizes small and large, although these sizes will need to be purchased separately. If this is your first time using the AirFit N20 Nasal Mask, we recommend using the AirFit N20 Sizing Gauge provided by the manufacturer to determine your ideal nasal cushion size.
Flexible Frame and Magnetic Clips
The AirFit N20 Nasal Mask features a plush headgear and a flexible, padded frame that sits underneath your eyes, allowing for an open field of view. This open-faced frame design gives you the option to read or watch TV before bed and even makes it possible to wear glasses with your CPAP mask. Additionally, the flexible frame helps maintain a secure seal as you change positions throughout the night, making the AirFit N20 a great choice for active sleepers.
One of the most popular features of AirFit N20 is the magnetic clips which help guide the headgear to the frame. The clips hold the headgear securely in place, so there is no need to fumble with hooks or buckles when making adjustments. Please note that CPAP users with metallic medical implants, such as pacemakers, defibrillators, etc. should choose masks that do not use magnetic headgear clips.
Quick-Release Elbow and Flexi-Tube
The AirFit N20 CPAP mask features a quick-release elbow and a flexi-tube, which are designed for comfort and convenience. The quick-release elbow allows for easy disconnection from the CPAP machine without the need to remove the entire mask, minimizing disruptions to your night. Even better, the quick-release elbow facilitates a swift reconnection of the mask to your CPAP circuit so you quickly fall back asleep.
The flexi-tube is a short tubing that connects to the front of the AirFit N20 mask via the 360-degree rotating quick-release elbow. The other end of the flexi-tube contains a swivel connector which is compatible with all standard CPAP tubing. The flexi-tube provides additional length to the CPAP circuit which allows you to change positions while minimizing tube drag and mask leaks.

FAQ
What is the recommended mask replacement schedule for the AirFit N20?
The AirFit N20 mask cushion should be replaced every 2 to 3 months for the most effective seal. The headgear, frame and short tubing assembly should be replaced every 6 months.
Is the AirFit N20 mask compatible with all CPAP machines?
The AirFit N20 mask is compatible with all CPAP machines. Please note that the N20 Setup Pack for AirMini is required in order for the AirFit N20 to be compatible with the ResMed AirMini Travel Auto CPAP.
Is the AirFit N20 recommended for CPAP users with facial hair?
Facial hair can affect the seal of the AirFit N20 cushion as well as the ability of the mask frame to stay in place. We recommend using a mask liner and/or keeping facial hair trimmed to improve the seal between the cushion and skin. If mask leak continues to be a problem, nasal pillow masks may be a better option as they pose minimal contact with the face.
How do I clean the AirFit N20 mask?
Weekly: headgear, flexi-tube assembly, frame
Daily: cushion
- Disassemble the mask.
- Soak the cushion, headgear, flex-tube assembly and frame in warm soapy water for up to ten minutes. Please use a mild detergent that is free from moisturizers and harsh chemicals such as bleach.
- Scrub the vent holes on the elbow with a soft bristle brush.
- Rinse all components thoroughly under running water and squeeze out excess water from the headgear. Lay parts out to air dry away from direct sunlight.
How do I use the AirFit N20 Sizing Gauge to determine my N20 nasal cushion size?
- Print the sizing gauge (see the Size Gauge tab above) to scale and cut it out.
- Hold the sizing gauge under your nose while standing in front of a mirror. The flares of both nostrils should sit in an indent. Try out each sizing option/indent.
- If your nose measures in-between sizes, choose the bigger size. This will feel more comfortable for you.

Long time Airfit F20 here, I’m a huge advocate of Resmed products. Decided to give nasal masks a try recently and naturally, I picked up the N20. So far it’s been great, all the glory of the F20 with an excellent nasal cushion.
The features that made the F20 my favorite mask are here as well. Magnetic clips make taking the mask off a cinch, and helps prolong the longevity of the Velcro straps. Headgear is soft, light, breathable, and fits well. Well designed to hold the head and mask in place. Quick release elbow on the air feed tube is probably your quickest way to disconnect for midnight excursions.
Of course, the part that changed for me is that the N20 is a nasal cushion rather than full face. Resmed really makes great cushions and these are no different, supremely comfortable. Fits without issue, didn’t have any leakage issues from day 1. Sizing gauge on Respshop was very accurate as well, I’m very certain that I picked up the right size cushion right off the bat. Easy to clean too, I just run it under some warm water and let it air dry. They recommend that you replace the cushion every month but my experience is that it can last some time longer than that.
Resmed is always top of the class in my opinion. The N20 is just another excellent product in their lineup and it’s quickly even supplanting my longtime F20 as my favorite mask. You can’t go wrong either choice.
I have been using CPAP for approximately 7 years and tried several different nasal masks. Thought the Resmed Airfit N10 was fairly comfortable, however, bad leaks occurred when lying on my sides. Totally would NOT recommend. The new Airfit N20 has been redesigned, as well as headgear, with great comfort, without feeling the need to over tighten due to leaking and the best AHI I've ever achieved. Extremely pleased and I highly recommend this to anyone that prefer nasal masks. By the way, I have been a Respiratory Therapist for 36 years

ResMEd masks seem to get a lot of love and after buying the N20, I agree. It's well made but also lightweight. Secures/seals well and is also comfortable. Highly recommend.
Subject: GREAT MASK
I was looking for a mask to upgrade from the AirFit N10 and figured checking out the N20 was the logical next step. AirFit products have always been quality for me so I had no fears about purchasing the N20. It was advertised as being quieter and more comfortable, and so far it’s lived up to those promises.
The nasal cushion is excellent, it seals just as well as my N10 one did. I would also argue it’s more comfortable and holds on better. Before I would occasionally have slippage on off nights but I haven’t had any of those wit the N20. The new diffuser design is also whisper quiet which is great for me and my partner.
The frame is also great. It’s well-padded, lightweight, and spreads out the pressure evenly. It also holds on very well and is a cinch to take off thanks to the quick release mechanism. The elbow has quick release tabs too so it’s easy to eject the hose when you have to do a quick errand. It’s been easy to adjust and as such, I haven’t had any issues with fit and feel. Make sure to use the size gauge to find the right size cushion for you.
I'm pretty new to the whole CPAP thing, but I heard good things about the Airfit N20 from some of my buddies and decided to give it a try. First things first, this mask was a little on the uncomfortable side for me. In all honesty, this might be because I'm new to CPAP in general, so take my experience with a grain of salt.
Otherwise, I would say this mask is pretty ideal for me. Setting up the mask was very intuitive even for me, and I'm able to use my mask without much trouble when I browse my phone before bed. The mask definitely does its job when I'm sleeping. I usually set my pressure on the lower end, and I haven't noticed my mask leaking yet. Also, I sleep on my back, but I haven't really noticed any lines on my face in the morning. A lot of my friends talked about that, so I feel lucky to not really be experiencing that problem.
I'm still on the search for a more comfortable mask, but for now, I'll continue using my Airfit N20. I'm pretty happy with this mask.
Subject: My CPAP machine
First when I ordered the CPAP machine I got the nasal one, ( Pillow) I was completed satisfied so I ordered the N20 . It more restrained but for me it work better . I toss and turn a lot there for the pillow type did not work. I have been satisfied so far, my mouth and nasal do get a really dry. Trying to work through it by keeping mints or caught drops beside my bed. Hoping this helps me , I had stopped breathing so many time during the night . I have been working with a lady at ResMed by the name of Patty , I am satisfied so far. I contact them directly to order supplies and ask questions ,not on the web, or email them . So far so good.
I have only been on CPAP for three months. I had the res med pillow mask. It took me a while to fall asleep. If I had to get up to use the washroom then put it back on, I could not get back to sleep. I saw the new Air fit N 20 nasal mask. I ordered it and I could not be more happier! So comfortable. It's so easy to inhale and exhale. I have only had it for 4 days now I am able to get up if I need to, pop the hose back in and right back to sleep. I LOVE it. Definitely a 5 star mask.
The mask straps are not short enough for my small head. I have to remake the top of the mask to keep it from resting solely on my ears. It is a good thing I have a sewing machine and know how to remake the mask to fit more comfortably. It doesn't make any difference what type of mask I use, they are all just a little too big for me.
This is the most comfortable mask I've had yet. The strap placement is perfect for my face/head and the fitting card that you can print out got me a perfrect fit. When I wake up, I forget I'm wearing it sometimes.
Like the product very well lightweight easy for a night but being a mouth breather have a hard time with the chinstrap. If there was a way to add a chinstrap to the mounting piece it would be fabulous.
Will there be a replacement tube for this available any time soon? It has a short tube that clips into the mask, then plugs into the main hose from the CPAP. There are many hoses available, but not this one. That hose becomes troublesome because it develops mold easily from all the exhalation, and it is not easy to clean. I feel like replacement is necessary!
Thank you,
The mask keeps blowing air out of the vent cap.
The pressure increases to much, when it is set on auto. I HAVE A MASK THAT COVERS THOSE HOLES AND IT WORKS FINE. DID I get the wrong mask?
Thanks
Si no fuera así, tienen alguna para recomendar.
Saludos Juan
Thank you,
