ResMed S9 CPAP H5i Heated Humidifier with Sealed Water Chamber

The ResMed S9 H5i Heated Humidifier reduces nasal congestion, prevents dry mouth and throat, and enhances the overall comfort of your sleep apnea therapy for a better night's sleep. This heated humidifier is compatible with all ResMed S9 CPAP, APAP,  and BiPAP/VPAP devices and comes with a sealed S9 water chamber. 

Climate Control
The S9 H5i Heated Humidifier comes equipped with ResMed's intelligent Climate Control technology which ensures optimal humidity and temperature under all operating conditions. Built-in sensors monitor the ambient temperature and humidity to automatically adjust the humidity and temperature output for comfort. When used with the optional S9 ClimateLineAir Heated Tubing , the humidifier prevents "rainout" or excess condensation within the tube. Integrated temperature sensors inside the ClimateLineAir Heated Tubing maintain a consistent air temperature along thr entire length of the tube, eliminating the risk of rainout that can cause pressure variations and negatively affect your sleep apnea therapy. 

Sealed Water Tub
The ResMed S9 H5i Sealed Water Tub holds 380ml at maximum capacity and can be cleaned with warm water and mild soap. This water chamber is hand wash only. We recommended cleaning the water tub at least once a week and replacing it every 6 to 12 months for optimal performance.

Preheat Feature
The ResMed S9 H5i Humidifier comes with a new preheat feature that allows you to warm up the humidifier to your preferred temperature before starting CPAP therapy for maximum comfort.To start warming up your S9 humidifier, navigate to the humidity icon from the home screen. Push and hold the dial for 3 seconds until you see the warm up status bar appear on screen. You can stop the preheat feature at any time by pushing and holding the dial for at least 3 seconds.

No, the S9 Sealed Water Tub is hand wash only.

What tubing is compatible with the S9 H5i Heated Humidifier?

The S9 H5i Heated Humidifier is compatible with both heated and non-heated tubing. Non-heated tubing options include ResMed's 15mm lightweight SlimLine Tubing which is the standard option that comes with your S9 device. This heated humidifier will also support any brand of non-heated tubing with 22mm cuffs. In terms of heated tubing options, the S9 ClimateLineAir Heated Tubing is the only heated tubing that is compatible with the H5i Heated Humidifier.

Worked very well, I liked that you dont have to have a prescription to get replacement parts. Most places want you to buy the whole unit. So for that it was a great buy and will definitely order again. And it was here on time as promised.

I use my ResMed S9 CPAP Machine every night and I cleaned the hose but now It won't work. It's telling me there is a humidifier fault - replace humidifier. I was pulling on the hose, trying to take it apart, maybe I disconnected something there. Can you please help?

Hello, I am sorry to hear your humidifier is not working. If you are receiving a fault error, please take your humidifier apart from the cpap and try hooking it back up. If there is still a fault error you will need to replace your humidifier. Thank you

I am getting a message "motor life exceeded, please contact service provider". I'd like to know how to replace this machine

The message would be about the Cpap vs the humidifier. The S9 is no longer made by Resmed. The replacement is the Airsense S10.
