Premium Chin Strap by Philips Respironics
The Respironics Premium Chin Strap effectively holds the mouth closed and prevents air leaks, promoting nasal breathing during sleep. This comfortable chin strap is an ideal solution for eliminating undesired mouth breathing while using your nasal or nasal pillow CPAP mask, without the need for a full-face mask. FAQ
Is this chin strap machine washable?
The Respironics Premium Chin Strap can be machine washed in cold water on a gentle cycle and line dried. However, we recommend hand washing your strap to extend its lifespan.
What type of mask should I use a chin strap with?
Chin straps are designed to be used with nasal and nasal pillow masks as they hold the mouth closed and encourage breathing to be done through the nose.
1x Premium Chin Strap
As always, my order arrived quickly and perfect. I love doing business with RespShop.
This chin strap is superior in quality and fit. I ordered a medium size but will reorder another in the small size just for comparison.
Holds the chin in place and mouth stays closed. Very comfortable to wear.

I was excited to order a chinstrap from a company in the CPAP business instead of a random strap from China from Amazon.. While this strap had a couple of features I like, it has several I DO NOT like. What I like: It fastens at the top. The part that goes under the chin is designed to stay on the chin (But needs to be improved). What I DO NOT LIKE: The strap that goes around the back of the head goes over my ears forcing my ears flat against my head which hurts and renders it unusable and I had to remove that piece. Because I removed it ...the strap shifts on my head at night. Takeaways: The part designed to stay on the chin needs to be larger. The top of the strap that adjusts at the top of the head needs to "cup" the top of the head to stay in place. Beware the ears. The strap goes over my ears a little but without the piece at the back of my head that crushes my ears I am OK. I don't know if a decent strap exists ....but this one isn't it.
Good and tight chinstrap. I can't seem to keep my mouth closed at night, because I am using a nasal mask. And that I have a beard, so this is the best one for me after many trials with other chinstraps. This is a very good chinstrap, it stays in place while I move around a lot during my sleep. It lasts for about 6 months if you wash it often, which I prefer to do. But it can last up to a year, however, I'd rather keep it clean then to keep it for a long time and only wash it once in a while. With that said, I come back to buy a new one every six months.
Oh by the way, this is best fit if you have a big head, with a small head you may like to use a different one. I know this because my brother tried it on, and he looked like his head was swimming in it. The Velcro and the back strap really helps keeping the chinstrap in place. That's probably why Respironics called it Premium Chinstrap. Good product, great price!
Excellent chin strap. Designed with care and well-made with good materials. It is made with three different types of materials. The first, which supports the chin, very soft. The second, which passes through the top of the head and defines the chin-holding force, firmer and more elastic than the first. The third, which passes through the nape of the neck and holds the strip in place, a little more elastic than the second. Result: lower AHI.

These chin straps haven’t improved since my last purchase. The velcro is weak and it’s still slipping off my head

Fellow CPAP folks. This is THE chin strap to hold your jaw in place. I have tried them all. I think you will agree.

I needed a way to keep my mouth closed while sleeping. This device works well, is comfortable and is able to be integrated with my CPAP
This chinstrap works as well as expected. My mouth does not drop open and there is less pillow drool.
Unfortunately, we do not accept returns on used/opened chinstraps. Thank you for your interest.
Thanks
