ResMed F20 CPAP Mask - Full Face

Looking for a full face mask that holds its seal through the night? The ResMed AirFit F20 Full Face CPAP Mask, with its InfinitySeal cushion, is designed for just that.

Proven by ResMed to fit 97% of all faces, the AirFit F20 adapts to the unique contours of your face for a reliable seal regardless of sleep position.

But comfort isn’t just about the cushion. The AirFit F20 also boasts an open-faced frame without any forehead support to block your view. Unwind before bed with a book or some late-night TV and enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep thanks to the F20’s QuietAir Vent diffusers.

Magnetic or non-magnetic headgear clips, a quick-release elbow and multiple sizing options complete the package.

And with three cushion and headgear sizes*, plus the option to switch out the silicone cushion with the AirTouch F20 memory foam cushion, the F20 is designed for personalized sleep therapy.

*Small and large headgear sold separately.

Prescription Required

The AirFit F20 generally seals well with facial hair, although this depends on the style. To improve the seal between the cushion and skin, we suggest using a CPAP mask liner and/or keeping facial hair trimmed.

If leaks persist, the AirTouch F20 Full Face Mask might be a better option. The AirTouch F20 comes with a memory foam cushion that stays in place more effectively than silicone cushions. Memory foam also offers a softer fit and is more comfortable on sensitive skin.
The AirFit F20 and AirTouch F20 share the same frame, headgear and elbow connector. The only difference between the two is the material of the full face cushion. The AirFit F20 features a silicone cushion while the AirTouch F20 features a memory foam cushion.
Yes, the AirFit F20 mask is also compatible with the AirTouch F20 memory foam cushion, allowing you to choose the cushion material you find most comfortable.
Weekly cleaning: headgear
Daily cleaning: frame, cushion, elbow

  1. Disassemble the mask.
  2. Soak the mask parts in warm water with mild soap. Avoid soaking for more than 10 minutes.
  3. Scrub the vent holes on the elbow with a soft bristle brush.
  4. Rinse all parts thoroughly under running water, squeezing out excess water from the headgear.
  5. Lay parts out to air dry away from direct sunlight.
To maintain the best fit and seal for your CPAP therapy, we recommend replacing the entire mask, including the headgear and frame, every 6 months.

The silicone cushion, however, may need to be replaced more frequently, typically every 2 to 3 months.  Silicone naturally softens over time, which can affect its ability to create a good seal.
  1. Gently pull the mask away from your face and then release it, allowing the cushion seal to inflate and settle comfortably around your nose and mouth.
  2. Make sure to clean both your mask cushion and your face, as facial oils can interfere with the seal.
  3. Ensure you're wearing your AirFit F20 mask according to the fitting instructions in the user guide. The way you put on the mask significantly impacts the seal.
  4. Adjust your headgear as necessary.
  5. Try a larger or smaller cushion or headgear size.
  6. Replace any worn out mask parts.

If your CPAP mask still leaks after following all those troubleshooting steps, a different mask style may be a better option. Feel free to contact RespShop for assistance in choosing a different mask.

Excellent prompt delivery to USPS address. Excellent product. I should have ordered from you guys from the very beginning. It is important to note that for CPAP patients using the other tubelike mask going around your head, should be replaced immediately after a severe cold, cough infection. I'm not a doctor but I speak from experience. Thanks Res shop folks ! God Bless.

I am new to CPAP, I have been using it about a month now. I have been using the P30i since I started. With that being said, although I liked the P30i there have been nights I woke up with a dry mouth. This is mostly due to a plugged nostril. I talked to a buddy and he suggested I try the F20 mask.

I recently bought a F20 mask off reapahop.com. (Fast delivery and great service) I tried the F20 for the first time last night.

There are many pros to this mask. One, I did not wake with a dry mouth. Two, it seals very well and I have a full beard. Three, I woke feeling like I got an excellent night of sleep. Four, it is easy to use and once it is set the magnetic clips are the way to go for ease of use.

Now for the cons. I only have one after just one night of use. I had an Itch on my nose during the night. I went to scratch it and hit this Darth Vader mask on my face. Now this is a very small complaint. I just shut my CPAP off, took off the magnets lifted the mask, scratched and rubbed my face and went back to sleep. I only mention this because it is a silly complaint and my wife and I had a good laugh.

Overall after just one night of use, I think this is going to be my go to mask. The other mask I thought about buying was the F30i. I like the hose to come off the top of my head. With that being said, I just put the hose over my headboard with the F20 and it was not an issue at all. I didn’t even know the hose was there.

I highly recommend this mask.
Thanks and happy

This f20 full face mask is great when the air on your CPAP machine needs to be cranked up. With the full face mask you have less air leakage than with a half mask or nose mask. I highly recommend this mask because my doctor took my air up to 13 and air kept leaking around my mask. The full face mask solved the problem for me.

Full Face Mask ResMed A20. It's excellent. I'm new to this whole CPAP thing, and I was about to give up on it using the nose pillow. I was having to decide whether I would sleep or use the CPAP -- there was no way to do both at once. The full face mask fixed that problem. I'm sleeping well with it, and I can use the CPAP as I should. Delivery was very fast. Totally happy with the transaction.

Subject: A great upgrade!
Most of the full face masks I’ve used in the past have leaked around my nose and eyes. This is the first full face mask I’ve ever had where it has not been a problem. It is so much more comfortable than my last mask, which was a nasal and mouth pillow combination. It’s easy to put together at night, and in my experience it feels low profile on my head. All together, I’ve had a great experience with it.

I heard really good things about AirFit masks from a friend, who used a nasal mask. However, I’m more of a mouth breather so I wanted a nasal mask and settled on the F20. So far, I can say it’s excellent in both build and performance.
The materials all feel very good, the straps on this one feel stronger than the straps I’ve had on past masks. On those masks, the straps would stretch out over time and fail to hold on to my head well. I don’t think I’ll have that problem with the F20 as the straps feel like they’ll hold their shape much longer.
Cushion material feels nice too, it’s nice and supple and seems to conform to the curves of my face quite well. Really solid seal and I haven’t had any problems with pain/red lines. It’s easy to disconnect the hose from the air feed which is always convenient and the design of the mask keeps my eye line mostly open.
If you’re looking for a good full-face mask with all the cutting edge features, I would recommend the F20.

I was long time user of the AirFit F10 full face, but I decided to upgrade to the F20 since it had some features I wanted to try. Immediately, I find the F20 to be a big upgrade and it’s a very good mask. It fits well and feels comfortable, and I have no complaints to speak of.

The big reason I wanted to upgrade from the F10 is that the F20 adds magnetic clips to the bottom two straps. I can’t stress how big of an addition this was, and how much easier it makes life. Probably the biggest part of getting great feel and performance from a mask is finding the perfect tightness on the straps. With the F10 however, you have to undo the bottom straps each morning, which means you’re changing the adjustment each time you take the mask off. Now, with magnetic clips, you just pull them off and your straps haven’t changed tightness at all. I’ve been getting consistent performance from this mask thanks to that, with no leakage issues to speak of.
Another big boon of the F20 over the F10 is that it’s a universal frame size now. The F10 had two different sizes I believe, which means you had to keep track of that alongside your cushion size. That’s no longer a problem.

Other than that huge addition, the F20 is very similar to the F10, which is a good thing. The headgear is still light and comfortable, holding onto my head well. No problems at all adjusting them to get an ideal fit. Cushion is still great too, it’s not quite the same as the F10 but it performs amazingly. The seal inflates well against my face and has no leakage issues. Just make sure not to tighten the mask too much, as you want the seal to fill in the gaps a little.

The hose still has the quick release elbow which is fantastic, since you can disconnect from your machine very quickly. It keeps the ring of vents too, so the air flow out is quiet and non-disruptive. Of course, as standard on the AirFit masks, there’s no bridge/forehead portion, which means you can wear glasses and have an unobstructed line of sight. Great for anyone like me who enjoys reading in bed.

The F20 is a great mask that takes all the best parts of the F10 and adds on some great convenience features. With the addition of the magnetic clips, I feel fully satisfied with this mask and I don’t imagine I’ll be changing masks any time soon. I would highly recommend to anyone on F10 looking to upgrade, or just to anyone looking for a great full face mask.

I was using the Amara fullface mask, but I had constant problems with leaking.
My husband recommended me to switch to the AirFit F20, and it has been awesome. The leaking issues stopped, and the mask is way more comfortable than the other one. A great buy!

I have tried many of the full-face masks available. I've not been happy with many of the masks I tried, probably because I sleep on my side - I think that makes it even harder to get a good mask seal. I really wanted to like the hybrid masks (under the nose style) but I couldn't get them to stop leaking. And of the masks that I could use, I find the AirFit F20 works best for me. The mask stays in place and seals very well. The hose attachment swivels effortlessly, and the air flow out of the mask is diffuse and silent. The cushion is easy to clean and replace, and I like the straps and fittings.

I work at a DME provider and with this mask the key is to not over tighten the headgear. Once you get a good seal adjust it then and let the cushion take over. If you can't run a finger between your headgear and your skin it's too tight and could cause leaks. Also make sure you are sized correctly. All masks run different. You may run a small in a Respironics but need a medium Resmed. I personally use this mask myself and have tried most mask just so I can tell my patients what to expect. This mask and the Amara View are my highest recommended for a full face mask.

This is the best fitting cpap mask that I have found with the fewest air leaks but still have to adjust it tighter than I would like to stop the air leaks. Loosning the mask to a comfortable fit breaks the seal completely.

Hi I originally panned the F20 after one night of trying it out, but since then have found that, if adjusted properly, it is less likely to leak than any other mask I have tried, and I have many unused masks. I use a Bipap AVAPS machine and recently travelled overseas for a few weeks, taking both my F10 and F20, thinking that I would use the F10 mostly, but after a few days of travel realised that the F20 gives a better seal, is more comfortable and the straps are more reliable and less likely to rub. I have tried many masks including nasal masks, pillows and full face masks. As I suffer from COPD, lung caner and sinus problems I can only use a full face mask and this is the best I have found so far.

Normally I have used a nasal pilly but with my nasal polyps getting worse I wasn't able to breathe through my nose. I decided to try the ResiMed F20 full mask since with the correct adapter I can use it on my Dreamstation and with the Air Mini elbow with my travel Air Mini. The fit is good on the F20 and I sleep great (even being a side sleeper). Although the parts are ridiculously expensive that is a problem with med equipment manufacturers gouging users.

I don't usually write reviews but the only review on this site was super negative. I didn't think it was that bad. I don't think there will ever be a perfect full face mask but this was the best I've ever had. I find with all the full face masks I've tried that you have to really cinch down the straps to limit/stop the leaks. This can cause you to have a minor sore spot on the bridge of your nose and of course stap marks. This is the first mask I've had that doesn't leak and you know what that means, a good sleep! I'll take the minor and temporary nose irritation until they have improved this issue.

Subject: Hard to Clean
The fit seems to work, but unlike a couple of other masks, this mask does not separate easily from the head gear. You have to release the velcro and if you wash it, you are also getting part of the cloth section wet so it is hard to dry even when you do separate it. My problem is that I never get the velcro back in the same place so it's hard to get the fit right again. When the fit is right, it's a nice mask. The quatro mask separates more easily (just pops out of the frame).

I am using the ResMed Airfit F20 full face CPAP large mask with headgear. I like it except that in order to get a good seal (NO leaks) it must be worn tight on my face. It also causes soreness at the bridge of my nose when I use or. remove the mask. ResMed, if you can correct this problem the mask would be great I am going to try a medium size mask and hope this will correct the problem. Send this to ResMed for corrections to the mask, please. Thank you.

I had difficulty getting a good seal at first. When I got past that I found my AHIs quadrupled. I am not using the mask anymore. Since I had already used my Mask Assurance in the last 12 months I am out the money.

Hi there, I'm sorry this mask did not work out for you. If your AHI was increasing it could be because the the lower 2 straps are too tight. When a full face mask is too tight and causing your lower jaw to recede this may actually cause obstructions. Your device may have a mask fitting option which may be helpful. Please give us a call for assistance.

I eagerly awaited receipt of my new F20, expecting that Resmed would have improved on the F10, which I find ok except the cushions do not last long and the headgear is pretty hopeless as usual. However, although I followed Resmed's instructions, I found that the only way to stop leakage was to have the mask fairly tight. In turn this made the bridge of my nose and cheeks sore by morning. I think the cushion is awful and the plastic of the mask very harsh. The mask is very noisy too and it is easy to dislodge the connecting elbow. The headgear is fine and would be better adapted to the F10. Overall, it will be chucked into the box with other masks that I find difficult to use. A waste of money on my part.
