Can I use the Philips SimplyGo Oxygen Concentrator on the plane?

The SimplyGo is FAA-approved for in-flight use. While some airlines let you plug your portable oxygen concentrator into onboard electrical power, others require you to run your concentrator on battery.

We recommend contacting your airline at least 48 hours before your flight to inquire about their onboard oxygen use requirements. If onboard power is unavailable, be sure to bring enough batteries to cover at least 150% of your total flight time.

How long does it take to fully charge the SimplyGo?

The SimplyGo battery takes 2-6 hours to fully charge from empty depending on whether or not the device is being used and the operating mode.

Can I use the Simply Go Oxygen Concentator while sleeping?

Yes, the SimplyGo features a Sleep Mode that delivers pulse dose oxygen with a more sensitive detection level. If no breath is detected for a period of time, the SimplyGo automatically delivers 2 L/min continuous flow oxygen.

Can I use the Philips SimplyGo with a CPAP or BiPAP machine?

The SimplyGo can be connected to a CPAP or BiPAP machine. Only the Continuous Flow mode should be used when adding oxygen to a sleep apnea machine.

Can I use the Simply Go Oxygen Concentator while it is being charged?

The SimplyGo can be used while connected to an AC/DC power supply with the battery inserted.

What length of nasal cannula can I use with the SimplyGo?

The SimplyGo can be used with nasal cannulas up to 30 ft (9 m) in length.

How do I clean and maintain my Philips SimplyGo?

SimplyGo: Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and mild household cleaner.

Carrying case: The carrying case can be spot-cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent solution. Alternatively, machine wash it with mild laundry detergent on a gentle cycle.

Mobile cart: The cart can be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent solution.

Batteries: Store batteries in a cool, dry and well ventilated area below 70°F (21°C) with 40 to 50% charge. If you have multiple batteries, rotate their use and avoid leaving them unused for over 90 days at a time.

Q. Can this unit be used for continuous use at home only. Is it efficient and durable enough for long term 24/7 use?

A. This is the only Portable oxygen concentrator to work on a continuous delivery of a maxiumum of 2lpm. It also has the pulse delivery option for out in the community. If your lpm prescription is 2lpm or less, you could use this unit 24/7 for oxygen therapy.

Q. Hello, I have a few questions, I would be very grateful if you could answer them.
1) Can you send this product (Philips Simply Go) to Turkey?
2) How many batteries do you ship with the product?
3) In payment options, can you offer installment shopping loans other than credit cards? (as I do not have a credit card limit equal to the product price)
4) USPS appears as the most affordable in the shipping options, do you have any problems with the cargo you make via USPS, does it reach the addresses?
5) If cargo is provided to Turkey, is it necessary to pay an extra customs fee? Do you have information?

2) The order comes with 1 battery. Unfortunately extra batteries are backordered at this time.
3) Unfortunately Credit card, or wire transfer are the only options.
4) UPS or FedEx is better for international orders.
5) Unfortunately you will need to reach out to customs for this information. You may be responsible for paying custom/duty fees once the package gets to customs.

Q. Hi,

How are you? Hope this email finds you well.

I am based in CA, USA. I have to send an oxygen concentrator to India for my parents.

I have three questions:
A. Can you ship this unit to India?
B. Does it work on India voltage?
C. Any after-sales support for this in India?
D. In case the unit keeps functioning, are filters the only thing one has to change from time to time? How would we manage the filter replacement etc. as in getting new filters for it and any other items that need to be changed regularly in India?

B: The voltage is rated at 120V, so you would have to get a converter to 220V
C: There is a 2 year warranty, and you can always call us for support and troubleshooting. For warranty and repairs, customer is responsible for shipping unit to US and back to India.
D: Intake filter should be change every year, or every 10,000 hours. Whichever comes first. You could order directly from us when we have stock, or a local provider may have it in India.

Q. I am diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis, my oxygen requirement is 3.5 LPM .
Is this POC is right for me.

A. HI The SimplyGo would be a great option for you. I would suggest that you talk it over with your physician. If you are needing 3.5 liters continuous then I am sorry this unit will only do 2 liters continuous but 6 liters pulse dose.

Q. Can this POC be carried in a backpack?
