Can I use the Philips SimplyGo Oxygen Concentrator on the plane?

The SimplyGo is FAA-approved for in-flight use. While some airlines let you plug your portable oxygen concentrator into onboard electrical power, others require you to run your concentrator on battery.

We recommend contacting your airline at least 48 hours before your flight to inquire about their onboard oxygen use requirements. If onboard power is unavailable, be sure to bring enough batteries to cover at least 150% of your total flight time.

How long does it take to fully charge the SimplyGo?

The SimplyGo battery takes 2-6 hours to fully charge from empty depending on whether or not the device is being used and the operating mode.

Can I use the Simply Go Oxygen Concentator while sleeping?

Yes, the SimplyGo features a Sleep Mode that delivers pulse dose oxygen with a more sensitive detection level. If no breath is detected for a period of time, the SimplyGo automatically delivers 2 L/min continuous flow oxygen.

Can I use the Philips SimplyGo with a CPAP or BiPAP machine?

The SimplyGo can be connected to a CPAP or BiPAP machine. Only the Continuous Flow mode should be used when adding oxygen to a sleep apnea machine.

Can I use the Simply Go Oxygen Concentator while it is being charged?

The SimplyGo can be used while connected to an AC/DC power supply with the battery inserted.

What length of nasal cannula can I use with the SimplyGo?

The SimplyGo can be used with nasal cannulas up to 30 ft (9 m) in length.

How do I clean and maintain my Philips SimplyGo?

SimplyGo: Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and mild household cleaner.

Carrying case: The carrying case can be spot-cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent solution. Alternatively, machine wash it with mild laundry detergent on a gentle cycle.

Mobile cart: The cart can be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent solution.

Batteries: Store batteries in a cool, dry and well ventilated area below 70°F (21°C) with 40 to 50% charge. If you have multiple batteries, rotate their use and avoid leaving them unused for over 90 days at a time.

Q. Hi ,I am writing you from Greece. Does this device has a foam inside this Philips Oxygen concentrator to reduce

sound and noise levels, like they do in Philips BiPAP because I do have one and they recalled it.Regartds and thank you Tim .

A. The Philips recall was for CPAPs only. None of Phillip's oxygen concentrators were affected. The Simply Go POC is available for sale and FDA approved.

Q. When traveling by car, can you plug in dc for continuous power while also charging the battery

A. Whenever the SimplyGo system is running from a DC power source, the battery installed in your device will begin recharging. You can also use the SimplyGo device while it is running from a DC power source. Caution: Make sure the vehicle has been started before plugging in your DC power supply.

Q. Hi - my mother uses an oxygen concentrator with 2 lts supply at home. Since we plan to travel outside Singapore - can you please advise if this device is approved by Airports and Airlines and can it be carried as a cabin luggage.
