Wisp CPAP Mask by Philips Respironics
Love the freedom of nasal pillow masks but find the concentrated air pressure uncomfortable? The Philips Respironics Wisp Nasal Mask is just what you need.
Designed for comfort and performance, the Wisp features a lightweight, open-faced frame that offers support without adding bulk and a silicone nasal cushion that gently seals below the nose bridge.
Enjoy effortless mask fitting with the Wisp’s magnetic headgear clips, which snap on to the frame for a secure fit. No more fiddling with headgear straps each time you put on the mask! Users with metallic medical implants can use the Wisp with non-magnetic clips* (sold separately).
Choose from two frame styles — cool silicone or gentle fabric — for enhanced sleeping comfort. And for your sizing convenience, the Wisp comes in a fit pack complete with 3 cushion sizes (S/M, L, XL) regardless of which frame you choose.
Younger CPAP users can choose the Youth Fit Pack, which includes smaller cushions and a reduced size headgear.
*Magnetic headgear clips are not recommended for users with metallic medical implants.
Daily cleaning: cushion
- Disassemble the mask.
- Hand wash all parts in warm water with mild soap. Avoid soaking the parts for more than ten minutes.
- Rinse each part thoroughly under running water.
- Let the mask components air dry completely out of direct sunlight. The headgear can be laid flat to dry or hung to line dry.
The silicone cushion, however, may need to be replaced more frequently, typically every 2 to 3 months. Silicone naturally softens over time, which can affect its ability to create a good seal.
- Gently pull the mask away from your face and then release it, allowing the cushion seal to inflate and settle comfortably around your nose.
- Make sure to clean both your mask cushion and your face, as facial oils can interfere with the seal.
- Ensure you're wearing your Wisp Nasal Mask according to the fitting instructions in the user guide. The way you put on the mask significantly impacts the seal.
- Adjust your headgear as necessary.
- Try a larger or smaller cushion size.
- Replace any worn out mask parts.
How can I order "Philips Wisp Nasal CPAP Mask" with Non-Magnetic clips?
Thanks a lot...

I have a length of velcro..looking for a plastic ? material to cut to fit the base for the nasal mask bottom . It must not go through but fit the base .Attach to velcro on each side and lap in the back. I am now using a cut up plastic bag tied. LOL..This holds in place ..if over the ear holds mask in best position ...under the ears more likely to slip out of place. Do you get the picture. Thanks for your time. Surely I am not the only one with sensitive skin.

Instructions For Use and Fitting
By far, the best mask that I've used. It's very comfortable and works will with higher pressures.
Been using this mask since the start of my therapy and i have never encountered any problems whatsoever aside from the usual wear and tear of this mask.
Has a very easy to wash and manage magnetic face lock system
Very comfortable, great
Not heavy and 3 cushions to use based on your needs
Nice fit over my braids. Easy to adjust the straps so the head gear has a comfortable fit. You don’t have to worry about a frame breaking. This head gear last a long time. I’ve had this for 2 years. Just getting an extra one to have on hand
Love it. Very comfortable. Easy to use.

I use the Wisp and also nasal pillow depending on whether it's sleeping the night or just a nap. Both work great. The Wisp is very comfy.
It came quick with everything I ordered. It was packaged perfectly, nothing broke or missing. The fit was great and assembly was easy. I would gladly order again.
I've had many masks through out the years and the Swift FX out of all my masks is my go to. I never worry about leaks or constant adjustments. This mask is as light as the newest on the market and as comfortable. For me this mask feels more stable than some of the newer ones on the market. I sleep on my side and have no issues with this mask.
Omg… what a game changer. I love this mask. It doesn’t make those whistling noises when air escapes. No air escapes. It stays in place and I sleep through the night without any interruption. I’ll never order any other.
This is the best nasal mask I have used. Barely any resistance when exhaling, unlike my first mask. Good mask seal. Take this one. it might be the one for you.
I've been using these products for years and I am very happy with them.
This mask is very comfortable and light. The headgear is breathable and comfortable. Cushion is plain but does its job, headgear helps keep it in place and I've been able to sleep without isuses.
This is the best head gear I have had in seven years. The ones before all broke in the same place
I can tell this headgear will not do that. I do not know why the pharmacy I used never gave me these choices.
When shopping for a mask, I was just looking for something cheap and light that would work. This wisp fit that bill and had good reviews. So far the mask has lived up to those reviews and I’m pleased with it.
There really isn’t much to the mask. It’s a pretty simple headgear that holds your head on the nape and on the crown. There’s four points you can tighten it. It fits well and I don’t really feel it slipping when I sleep. The material is breathable which is good, and there’s magnetic clips on the bottom to make removal of the entire mask easier. As a note, there’s two different versions. One that has fabric straps across the cheek, and the other is silicon. I don’t mind silicon so I went for that but if you don’t like the feel, then you should go for the fabric one.
Cushion goes over the nose, as its a nasal mask. Nothing to write home about, but it does its job. Replacements are pretty cheap too and I’ve been able to sleep normally, so I’m perfectly content with it. Overall the fit and feel of the mask is what I would describe as unnoticeable. It doesn’t impede my vision in any way, it feels light, and I don’t get any irritation. Especially for the price, this mask is superb.
The Wisp is a great minimalistic mask that fulfills all my needs. It’s on sale at a very cheap price too which meant I had no qualms about paying for it myself.
Pros: The frame is comfortable and convenient. It’s two light straps that hold on the back of your head, so nothing going across your forehead. This leaves your line of sight perfectly clear and you can wear glasses without issue. It’s also easy to adjust and has magnetic clasps so you can easily take it off and put it on without losing your strap setting. As for the cushion, the package comes with all three sizes. I just ended up sticking with the standard but I’ve been getting excellent air flow. It sits right over your nose.
Cons: I don’t have many cons to speak of. The cushion, as stated, goes right over your nose. The first few months I used it, I would get red marks around my nose. Eventually I played around with the strap settings and found an ideal level, but before that I was getting annoyed with the cushion. Trying a larger cushion may have been a prudent idea.
Final thoughts: Really, I think this is a perfect mask for most people. It is mostly comfortable and does its job. For the current price of under 50 dollars, it’s an absolute steal.
The seal is for this mask very good. The mask doesn't shift around when I sleep and change positions/sleep on my side. I tend to change positions a lot depending on the night so I don't have one sleep position. But I have never noticed it leaking. I also never have to readjust my mask in the middle of the night. The mask stays tight and works very well for me.
I have sensitive skin and this mask is probably one of the few that I can use without irritation. I use padding for my mask which might make a difference but I haven't noticed red marks on my face when I wake up. I also dont have problems waking up in the middle of the night or anything. I can't stress enough how comfortable and quiet this mask is.
Hats off to respironics. I'm very impressed by this mask. If youre on the edge about trying this mask I recommend you try it.
It is comfortable and quite.
Highly recommend.
Good price, Loved it. It worked fine, But frame breaks easily and
I am thoroughly satisfied with the head gear that I received for my cpap. The one thing I'm concerned about is because of the hard plastic when summer comes because I perspire a lot while in that headgear. Other than that I really like it!
Excellent chin strap. Designed with care and well-made with good materials.
The small nose mask was a little uncomfortable, but the large one that's included was just right.
Mask fits well and comfortable to sleep. I have to try putting gauze to protect my face having a bad reaction.
I am sorry that you are having a reaction. Here are some options that you may try to help. REMZZ they work great in protecting your skin. I have attached the website https://www.respshop.com/cpap-supplies/comfort-cleaning/remzzzs-cpap-mask-liners-day-supply-p-398.html. If you need help please let us know.
Also please wash your mask daily in Dawn dish soap or Dove soap to help keep it from retaining oils that can cause breakdown.
Lastly, wash your face before putting the mask on. Again this keeps the oils from building up to create sores.
The only complaint I have is for the price I would have thought the nasal pillow would be a lot more comfortable with a bit better of a cushion pillow.
This is the worst mask I have ever tried. The air blows on the bridge of your nose not where you need it. I am trying to return it as I write this.
We are sorry to hear this mask was not a good fit for you. Please call us at 866-936-3754 so that we may further assist you.

Luckily we do have a Mask Assurance Policy if the mask you purchase is not right for you:)
