Q. Your answers to questions about specs for this power supply are inaccurate. Your answer talks about 110 V AC input when the input is either 12 or 24 V DC. I really need to know the 12V Dc current draw to see what it takes to power my resmed air 11 with this power supply. Please answer this question and not something unrelated as you’ve done twice in the past list of questions.
A. The DC/DC converter can accept an input of either 12V or 24V and gives an output at 24V which is what is required for the AirSense 11 machine. The current draw of the machine will vary drastically depending on the pressure settings and humidity settings of the machine. If this does not answer your question, please feel free to call us at 866-936-3754 or to call ResMed directly at 1-800-424-0737
Q. Follow up on a question. So with this cigarette plug adapter for the as11, is it just made to hooked up in a car socket and not just into a 12 volt battery. It seems to me it could considering how the plug is made. The answer to the other question made me to believe I could use the 12 volt adapter to plug into a 2 volt battery and only a car.
A. Yes, the adapter is just for the cigarette plug adapter.
Q. How much DC draw in amp for this Resmed Convertor
A. 24V/90W output can be used from 12V or 24V DC power source
Q. Can this be used with allegator clips for direct connection to car or boat battery?
A. No, this will not work that way. Resmed did not produce the alligator clips for the Airsense 11 unfortunately.
Q. Is this a Resmed converter?
A. Yes, this is the official ResMed DC/DC converter for the AirSense and AirCurve 11
Q. Can the dc converter be connected directly to a boat battery instead of a cigarette lighter socket?
A. Yes, this converter typically converts the common 12V DC power source found in cars, caravans, boats, or other vehicles equipped with a suitable battery into the 24V DC power required by the CPAP machine.
Q. What is the amp draw of the convertor. I am sizing lithium storage for an RV.
A. Hi there! The AC input is 100-240 v, 50-60 Hz. 56.1 Watts typical and 73.2 Watts @ peak!
