Can I use the SimplyGo Mini on the plane?

The SimplyGo Mini Portable Oxygen Concentrator is FAA-approved for in-flight use. While some airlines let you plug your portable oxygen concentrator into onboard electrical power, others require you to run your concentrator on battery.

We recommend contacting your airline at least 48 hours before your flight to inquire about their onboard oxygen use requirements. If onboard power is unavailable, be sure to bring enough batteries to cover at least 150% of your total flight time.

How long does it take to fully charge the SimplyGo Mini?

The charging time is up to 4 hours for the standard battery and up to 8 hours for the extended battery.

Can I use the SimplyGo Mini Portable Oxygen Concentrator while sleeping?

Due to its pulse dose delivery system, the SimplyGo Mini is not recommended for use while sleeping.

A pulse dose concentrator delivers oxygen only when inhalation is detected (triggered). Since breathing tends to be shallower during sleep, there's a possibility the machine won't trigger properly.

Can I use the SimplyGo Mini Oxygen Concentrator with my sleep apnea machine?

The SimplyGo Mini should not be used with CPAP or BiPAP machines because it does not deliver a continuous flow of oxygen. Only continuous flow oxygen concentrators should be used to add oxygen to PAP therapy.

What length of nasal cannula can I use with the SimplyGo Mini?

The SimplyGo Mini is designed to be used with nasal cannulas up to 10 ft (3 m) in length.

How do I clean and maintain my SimplyGo Mini Portable Oxygen Concentrator?

SimplyGo Mini: Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and mild household cleaner.

Carrying case: The carrying case can be spot-cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent solution. Alternatively, machine wash it with mild laundry detergent on a gentle cycle.

Batteries: Store batteries in a cool, dry and well ventilated area below 70°F (21°C) with 40 to 50% charge. If you have multiple batteries, rotate their use and avoid leaving them unused for over 90 days at a time.

Can I use the SimplyGo Mini without the battery installed?

While the SimplyGo Mini can operate on AC and DC power, a battery should always be installed when the machine is running.

Q. How long is the battery life before you need to replace it. ?

A. The SimplyGo Mini batteries are rated for 300 charge/discharge cycles before degrading to approximately two-thirds that of the capacity of when they were new. The batteries will still function however the total capacity will decrease as the batteries age due to age, environmental operating conditions and use over time.
