Swift FX For Her Nasal Pillow Mask by ResMed
Catering to the unique needs of female CPAP users, the ResMed Swift FX For Her Nasal Pillow Mask features a lightweight and compact design.
Included with the mask are 3 For Her cushion sizes and a smaller headgear, which provides a comfortable fit on smaller faces.
Designed for fewer leaks and maximum softness, the Swift FX's nasal pillows come with dual-wall flaps and an integrated flexible chamber, ensuring an excellent seal regardless of movement.
The rotating elbow swivels smoothly, while the lightweight tube stretches for increased stability and reduced mask drag.
With the Swift FX For Her, you can read or watch TV in bed and sleep with the utmost comfort.
The adjustable silicone headgear gently embraces the face while minimizing facial contact. It has a fabric back strap that provides a snug yet gentle fit, as well as a pair of soft wraps to make the mask more comfortable to wear.
Daily cleaning: cushion
- Disassemble the mask.
- Soak all parts in warm water with mild soap for up to ten minutes.
- Gently scrub the vent with a soft bristle brush.
- Rinse each part thoroughly under running water.
- Air dry all parts away from direct sunlight. Lay the headgear flat to dry.
The silicone cushion, however, may need to be replaced more frequently, typically every 2 to 3 months. Silicone naturally softens over time, which can affect its ability to create a good seal.
The headgear back strap on the Swift FX For Her is also shorter (15 inches) than the Swift FX headgear back strap (16.5 inches).
The Bella loops are unique in that they hook around the ears, unlike the standard headgear which wraps around the top and back of the head.
- Gently pull the mask away from your face and then release it, allowing the tips of the nasal pillows to inflate and settle comfortably inside your nose.
- Make sure to clean both your mask cushion and your face, as facial oils can interfere with the seal.
- Ensure you're wearing your Swift FX For Her according to the fitting instructions in the user guide. The way you put on the mask significantly impacts the seal.
- Adjust your headgear as necessary.
- Try a larger or smaller cushion size.
- Replace any worn out mask parts.
If your CPAP mask still leaks after following all those troubleshooting steps, a different mask style may be a better option. Feel free to contact RespShop for assistance in choosing a different mask.
I've been using this mask for at least 10 years and I still prefer it. I've tried a few others but I keep coming back to it, I hope they don't discontinue it!
They had exactly what I needed, since my machine is now obsolete. Great company to work with. I will certainly keep coming back.
La Calidad del producto es excelente. La mascarilla es realmente confortable. La recomiendo.
I'm honestly pretty sad about this mask. My husband complains that he can't sleep with me anymore because of the constant air barraging his face. I sleep on my side and I swear this new design was made for air to escape out of the front part of the mask. So my partner always has to deal with the air blowing out of my mask.
My old mask (the older model) was better than this one. It didn't have the air problem, so my partner was fine sleeping with me.
But, I will say that other than the air problem, this mask is an improvement over the older model. It has had no leaks so far. I use a chin strap with this mask and even though I shift a lot when I sleep, this mask has had no trouble staying in place. It's also much more comfortable. I get better sleep from it (at the expense of my husband's sleep).
If Resmed improves the design just a little and makes it more friendly for side sleepers, I would give this mask 5 stars.
