How do I clean my Swift FX Nasal Pillow Mask?

Weekly cleaning: headgear, short tubing with swivel
Daily cleaning: cushion

Disassemble the mask.
Soak all parts in warm water with mild soap for up to ten minutes.
Gently scrub the vent with a soft bristle brush.
Rinse each part thoroughly under running water.
Air dry all parts away from direct sunlight. Lay the headgear flat to dry.

How often should I replace my Swift FX Nasal Pillow Mask?

To maintain the best fit and seal for your CPAP therapy, we recommend replacing the entire mask, including the headgear and frame, every 6 months.

The silicone cushion, however, may need to be replaced more frequently, typically every 2 to 3 months. Silicone naturally softens over time, which can affect its ability to create a good seal.

What is the difference between the ResMed Swift FX and Swift FX For Her nasal pillow masks?

The Swift FX comes with larger nasal pillow sizes (small, medium, large) compared to the Swift FX For Her, which comes with extra small, small, and medium nasal pillow cushions.

The headgear back strap on the Swift FX For Her is also shorter than the Swift FX headgear back strap.

What is the difference between the Swift FX and Swift FX Bella Gray nasal pillow masks?

The Swift FX Bella Gray offers two headgear options: the standard Swift FX headgear and the Bella Gray loops. The standard Swift FX mask only comes with the traditional headgear.

The Bella Gray loops are unique in that they hook around the ears, unlike the standard headgear which wraps around the top and back of the head.

My Swift FX Nasal Pillow Mask is leaking. What should I do?

Gently pull the mask away from your face and then release it, allowing the tips of the nasal pillows to inflate and settle comfortably inside your nose.
Make sure to clean both your mask cushion and your face, as facial oils can interfere with the seal.
Ensure you're wearing your Swift FX according to the fitting instructions in the user guide. The way you put on the mask significantly impacts the seal.
Adjust your headgear as necessary.
Try a larger or smaller cushion size.
Replace any worn out mask parts.

Q. I recently started using a ResMed Swift FX Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask with the ResMed AirSense 10. The flexible plastic top headpiece is very irritating as I also need to wear a chin strap. Is there any way to replace the plastic top with a piece similar to the back head strap? Or, is there a replacement head piece more similar to the AirSense 11 which would fit?

A. All of the masks are universal to the stationary machines so you can use that specific mask with the Airsense 10 or 11. You cannot unfortunately however change out the pieces. I would recommend the P10 if you want just the fabric.

Q. hello, what is considered high pressure? Why not recommend this model?

A. A high pressure is generally 15+ cm H2O, give or take a few. The nature of nasal pillow masks, due to the small area air must travel through, makes it so that high pressures can feel too intense for comfortable therapy.

Subject: Best lightweight mask
This is the best lightweight mask I've tried out there. Basic pillow and strap, nothing fancy or disruptive. Strap is sufficient and supple, don't get any irritation. The pillow is good too, it is comfortable and I'm able to sleep well.

Have had this mask for a month now, like it. It’s really simple but works well. The entire headgear is two straps, one around the top and one around the back of your head. Fits well for me, it’s easy enough to adjust. Not sure how well it’ll fit for people with different hairstyles, but I have a pretty standard cut and no issues with the frame slipping. Also it’s really light since it’s so minimal, so it’s easy enough for me to just forget about it.

I like the pillow too. It came with the small, medium, and large ones which are all the sizing options. I ended up using large but anyone else will have the luxury of picking the size they like. It’s comfortable and fits pretty well. I don’t totally forget that it’s there but it’s definitely not enough of a presence to affect my sleep. Leaked the first night but then I played with the fit of the mask and now it’s perfect.

Sometimes you just want a light, simple mask that works without fuss. That is exactly what the SwiftFX does. When I was shopping for a mask, I wanted one that would feel lightweight and keep my LOS clear, so I could keep doing all the nightly activities I usually do. The Swift looked like it would be exactly that, and after three months usage, I am comfortable giving it my full recommendation.

Like I mentioned, the headgear was a big component for me since I didn’t want a million straps going all across my head. The Swift uses just straps, one in back and one on top. Both have ample adjustment and are lightweight, so I can get a consistently comfortable fit. The silicon doesn’t bother me at all since it comes with soft wraps to put over them, which I did right away.

Nasal pillow is excellent too, it fits well and holds a good seal. Haven’t leaked in these three months and I don’t wake up with nasal irritation. The package comes with all three sizes which is a must for me, since I like to try out as many possibilities as I can.

No complaints to speak of. It’s a very well-priced mask and I have no plans to switch masks ever again.
