Swift FX - Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask by ResMed
Flexible and Lightweight Nasal CPAP Mask
The ResMed Swift FX Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask with Headgear is a top-of-the-line CPAP mask. It is quiet, light, travel-friendly, and designed for maximum comfort.
The soft, minimal, unobtrusive headgear provides a snug yet gentle fit so you can sleep comfortably with a reliable seal. The silicone headgear can be easily adjusted using the top buckle for a personalized fit. These headgear innovations make the ResMed Swift FX one of the most convenient CPAP masks on the market.
Small, Open-Face Design
The ResMed Swift FX is small and unobtrusive. It minimizes facial contact with an adjustable silicone headgear held in place by a velcro-attached fabric backstrap, keeping your field of vision wide open so you can watch TV or read in bed.
The Swift FX gives you the freedom to fall asleep on your terms. In fact, you may even forget you have a mask on!
We highly recommend its sister mask - the Swift FX Bella Gray - for an even more minimal design.
Comfortable Pillows Allow You to Sleep on Your Side
The Swift FX Nasal Pillow system is state-of-the-art and extremely comfortable thanks to its silky silicone material. The pillows have a flexible and supportive dual-wall design that gives you a super soft and stable fit.
The outer wall of the nasal pillows provides a sturdy base while the inner wall seals on contact with the nose. Combined with adjustable headgear, the Swift FX is designed for comfort and reliability in various positions. Side sleepers will find this mask a great option due to its design elements.
Nasal pillow cushions sized Small, Medium, and Large are included. Extra Small nasal pillows are available separately.
Adjustable Headgear
The silicone-based headgear is easy to assemble and take off. It has only two points of adjustment: an easy-to-operate buckle on top of your head and a simple velcro strap that rests on the back of your head.
It only takes a second to adjust the headgear so you can settle in for the night with minimal hassle. You can even adjust the mask and then slip it off at a moment’s notice for that late-night bathroom break.
Flexible Short Tube and Rotating Swivel
The Swift FX comes with a 365-degree rotating elbow swivel attached to flexible short tubing. The rotating swivel lets you sleep comfortably on your sides while the accordion-style tubing bends and stretches to decrease mask drag. Now you can toss and turn in your sleep without getting tangled up in your hose.
The short tubing is designed to connect to any CPAP hose, with the ResMed AirMini tubing being the exception.

FAQ
Will this mask fit faces of all sizes?
The Swift FX CPAP mask comes with adjustable headgear and three different nasal pillow sizes: Small, Medium, and Large. ResMed also makes a For Her model of the Swift FX that will fit petite facial structures.
How should I wash my mask?
Please use mild soap and warm water to clean your mask. We recommend washing the nasal pillows daily and the rest of the mask weekly. For best results, take your mask apart before cleaning and use a soft bristle brush to gently scrub away any face oils or visible debris. Rinse all parts under running water before setting them aside to air dry. Please do not expose the mask to direct sunlight.
Does this mask work well with higher CPAP pressures?
The Swift FX is designed for use at 4 to 20 cm H2O pressure. However, we do not recommend this mask for high-pressure use. This is because nasal pillows can make the pressure seem more intense at higher pressures.

Sometimes you just want a light, simple mask that works without fuss. That is exactly what the SwiftFX does. When I was shopping for a mask, I wanted one that would feel lightweight and keep my LOS clear, so I could keep doing all the nightly activities I usually do. The Swift looked like it would be exactly that, and after three months usage, I am comfortable giving it my full recommendation.
Like I mentioned, the headgear was a big component for me since I didnโt want a million straps going all across my head. The Swift uses just straps, one in back and one on top. Both have ample adjustment and are lightweight, so I can get a consistently comfortable fit. The silicon doesnโt bother me at all since it comes with soft wraps to put over them, which I did right away.
Nasal pillow is excellent too, it fits well and holds a good seal. Havenโt leaked in these three months and I donโt wake up with nasal irritation. The package comes with all three sizes which is a must for me, since I like to try out as many possibilities as I can.
No complaints to speak of. Itโs a very well-priced mask and I have no plans to switch masks ever again.
Have had this mask for a month now, like it. Itโs really simple but works well. The entire headgear is two straps, one around the top and one around the back of your head. Fits well for me, itโs easy enough to adjust. Not sure how well itโll fit for people with different hairstyles, but I have a pretty standard cut and no issues with the frame slipping. Also itโs really light since itโs so minimal, so itโs easy enough for me to just forget about it.
I like the pillow too. It came with the small, medium, and large ones which are all the sizing options. I ended up using large but anyone else will have the luxury of picking the size they like. Itโs comfortable and fits pretty well. I donโt totally forget that itโs there but itโs definitely not enough of a presence to affect my sleep. Leaked the first night but then I played with the fit of the mask and now itโs perfect.
Fantastico! I love this mask!! I have struggled for years with CPAP compliance. As recently as last year, against every instinct in my being, I did something I swore I would never do: I gave up. I *quit* using my CPAP (as it turned out for 8 months) after 10 years of erratic use! On my annual visit to my sleep doc, a physician's assistant at Duke, I told her that this was for me, like the infamous General Custer, my "last stand." It was also going to be my last visit......*unless* I could get a mask that actually let me sleep without leaking or being grossly uncomfortable. I told her with every bit of honesty and candor that I had that I would throw that "blankety blank" machine into the river if I didn't find the next mask workable. She smiled, offered encouragement, and had me try this mask. It has changed my life! I am now a consistent CPAP user and devotee of this mask! Kudos to the inventor(s)/marketers and thank you! Life is good again!
I started using this mask, but somehow the nose gets sore in the morning, don't know what to do. I asked your customer service and they ran down the list for me to check:
Correct pillow size?
The cone tip is the only part that is inside your nose, and the rest stays outside.
Headgear too tight?
No humidification?
And they suggested I could use Ayr Saline Nasal Gel (can get it from Walgreens or any drugstores that has it) or lanolin cream - Lanisoh, Blistex Lip or Carmex Lip ointment to help reduce the soreness.
If all of the above failed, they suggested to consult your doctor or try a different mask, like a nasal or full face mask.
So I tried a different pillow size, and it works for me. Thanks guys. I gave 5 stars because your customer service rocks!
The softest nasal pillows I've ever had among my other nasal pillows masks. This Swift Fx mask is my number one choice. It is light in weight, it allows you read or watch TV with little obstruction, and it comes in three different sizes that you can try all on to see which is the best fit for you. My doctor said I needed size large, but I feel more comfy with size medium. It is good that the mask comes with three pillow sizes so you can try them all instead of using one of those sizing gauge templates, sometimes I don't really know if it works though; you need to try on the real thing. I could have tried this one earlier on then I wouldn't have so many nasal masks lying around. But I finally found the right one!
I have used a CPCP at 16cm pressure since 1991 and have not been a big fan of the Resmed products until now. The Swift FX is light, easy to clean and doesn't have uncomfortable buckles like previous models. I used a Willow headgear for many years but it has been discontinued. This product is comparable and I am very happy to have found it. The only thing I do not like is the hose is loose rather than attached and a restless sleeper can become tangled. I recommend this product, especially if you are or were a Willow user.
This thing is garbage. If you sleep on your back and are completely still it will probably work. If you sleep on your side don't even consider it. It constantly leaks if you are on your side and is very noisy when it leaks. You will be pissed off from waking up constantly through the night. The fit is very inconsistent. It's like you have to constantly adjust the strapping. The pillows wear out really fast too. The seal is good for only about 7 days. Then you'll be blowing in the wind.
At first it seemed to work well, but after just a couple of nights I started having problems with it sealing on my right nostril, it kept leaking. I tried several adjustments, until it was just to tight and you wake up with marks on your cheeks. To bad as I really liked the design. So I am doing back to the Resmed Mirage Swift II. The real problem in all this is that you cannot return if you remove the unit from the plastic. And you can't try it without actually using it.
Having been a CPAP user since 1992, I have tried several types of CPAP masks from full face masks to several types of nasal masks to several types of nasal pillow masks. In my opinion and based on my experience using different types of CPAP masks, the Swift FX Nasal Pillow Mask has been one of the best. It is light, easy to adjust, and has provided me with one of the best quality of sleep. Highly recommend this even to new CPAP users.
It's easy to get used to and stays on good, but it has made the inside of my nose raw. My Dr. just told me this morning that I most likely have it on too tight. If this does not work, I won't be able to wear this anymore as it's just too painful.
Hi Clay, If the pillow does not work we can send you the cushion that will go over the nose. That's what we love about this mask!
