FlexiFit 431 CAP Full Face Mask - Fisher & Paykel

The FlexiFit HC431 Full Face CPAP Mask with Headgear is one of Fisher & Paykel's latest designs. The mask's cushion seals under the chin to offer a stable seal around your face. While the Glider Strap maintains comfort and stability as you move throughout the night.

FlexiFit Technology

Fisher & Paykel's FlexiFit cushion creates a highly contoured silicone seal, the 431 full face mask is auto-contouring to the surface of your face, and still provides an enduring seal. furthermore, the inner layer of the mask remains stable, while the outer membrane presses gently against your skin.

Glider Strap

The Glider Strap connects the two layers of CPAP cushions. This allows you to move your head without disturbing the position of the cushion, which in turn helps keep the seal.

Unique Under Chin Design

Unique to the FlexiFit 431 full face, Fisher & Paykel designed this mask to have an under-chin strap. The under-chin design offers increased stability by adding another point of contact under your chin. With contact points on your forehead, chin, and a strap that wraps around your head, Fisher & Paykel has created a CPAP mask that effectively "locks" into place.

Efficient Air Diffusion

Made with tiny and directional holes to diffuse air away from you and your partner, the Fisher & Paykel FlexiFit's diffusion system ensures that your sleep apnea therapy will be quiet and noninvasive. This full-face mask also has a great pressure range from 4-25cm H2O, which makes this mask great for those who have a CPAP machine set to higher pressure settings.

The crown strap-shaped headgear offers enhanced stability and works in concert with the under-chin design of the mask. Due to the easy-release headgear, this mask is a perfect option for those users who wake up often during the night. As it comes with quick-releasing straps that can be released in a single motion.

Key Features:

FlexiFit Technology Contours to Your Face
Under the Chin Attachment
Silent Diffusion
Quick release headgear

Reviewers Tip:

People who wake up often during the night will enjoy this mask's one-step, quick-release headgear attachment that can be reapplied in the dark in just seconds!

How many sizes does this mask come in?
One size fits all. The FlexiFit is designed to accommodate most facial shapes and sizes, which makes mask fitting easy. The seals will come in small medium and large.

This is the HC432: will my cushion from the 431 fit this frame?
If it was after April 2006, yes. A new design was launched that month, and it is compatible with the latest FlexiFit CPAP mask model.

Can I wear this without the chin attachment?
No, the chin attachment is not removable and is a vital part of the mask. In addition to this, if you do breathe through your mouth and nose you will need a full-face mask, however, if you breathe through only your nose, you will be able to use just a nasal mask.

Subject: Nice mask
Mask is on the larger side but it's very comfortable. Cushion has lots of surface area to spread out the pressure, so I don't wake up with any marks or lines on my face.

The headgear is a little cumbersome to get on and adjust, but once on it's very comfortable and supple. I've been able to get very good sleep with this mask.

Subject: I like it
This mask doesn’t seem to be very well known but I was looking for something of its design. In particular, I wanted to find a full face mask with a very large cushion in the idea that it would disperse the weight. This seemed to fit the bill and so I gave it a show. It’s been quite good and I don’t have any complaints about it to speak of.

Cushion. The cushion is very large, cradling around the chin and going up to the top of the nasal bridge, between your eyes. It’s not very sightly or convenient for line of sight, but I like it because it spreads the weight in a large area, particularly on the cheeks. I’ve been able to avoid any red lines while also having a very easy time breathing. The tube points straight down which isn’t my favorite but it doesn’t affect me much anyways.

Harness. The harness is pretty plain Jane, with two parallel bands on each side. It’s not particularly high-tech but it holds the mask on well and doesn’t cause any discomfort. The material could be a little more breathable but it’s not something that’s noticeably affecting my sleep.

This device is too small for the size of my top of nose to under chin. Will not work for me.

I am so sorry this mask did not work for you, luckily you can exchange it with our Mask Assurance Policy!

The mask is to big and I should have gotten a smaller one. Not your fault I should have gone with a smaller version or another mask that had a smaller version. I am waiting for the VA to send me another one that will be more comfortable to use.

so far so good the adjustments are good the option to size is nice with a small medium and large seal makes it simple to figure out. the release is a big part of this cpap world and this release is easy to release and reconnect.

My first night using this mask was ok, perhaps because I was too tired and not really noticed anything. On the second night, I noticed that the mask and headgear caused some sore on the bridge of my nose with some red marks and sore on the side of my face, and a little air leakage.

I found that if I adjust my upper and lower straps, then things will be ok. There will be no leakage, and no sore or red marks on the face. Tighten the straps just right then these problems will not be noticeable. An acquaintance suggested that I can also use the cushion one size smaller than the one I am using may also help reduce leakage problem. It helps. This is my first full face mask, so I can't compare it with other full face masks. For now, it's working for me now that I am getting used to it.

Does the attachment that goes across the bridge that is the connector brake? If so is it replaceable? How much if so.
Hello, I am sorry that piece you cannot replace. If that breaks you will need to replace the whole mask. Here is that link https://www.respshop.com/cpap-masks/full-face/fisher-paykel-flexifit-431-full-face-cpap-mask-p-522.html
