Respshop.com offers CPAP machine repair service on select models of ResMed, Philips Respironics, DeVilbiss, HDM Z1/Z2, and Somnetics Transcend CPAP Machines.
PLEASE NOTE: We do NOT take insurance as a form of payment.
Because many international CPAPs use different machine parts that are not available in the US, we only repair machines originally sold in the US. Some machines sold in Canada are repairable, but please contact us first before you ship it to us.
FAQ
When Should I Consider Getting My CPAP Repaired?
Sometimes, it's obvious: it doesn't turn on, its screen is dark, it makes loud noises, or it stops unexpectedly. Sometimes, it's not obvious: its pressure is inaccurate or it's slightly noisier than usual. Usually, these defects are caused by worn motors, defective sensors, water leaks, or accidental drops. Having your CPAP repaired on time will help improve your sleep quality.
Who Pays For Shipping?
You will need to ship the defective machine to us. Respshop will cover the shipping from our office to you.
*We do not cover international shipping
What If The Machine Is Not Repairable?
The $99 can be used towards the purchase of a new CPAP machine if the CPAP machine repair cannot be processed or the cost is not effective for the owner. The defective machine will then be shipped back to the customer.
Can I Have A Temporary-Use CPAP While My Machine Is Being Repaired?
We have a CPAP rental service that you can consider.
Do You Fix CPAPs If My Machine Purchased Elsewhere?
Yes (as long as it is in the US).
Is There A Cost If My CPAP Is Under Manufacturer Warranty And Purchased Elsewhere?
If the machine was purchased from another US dealer, we charge $99 for the processing fee. Manufacturers replace or repair warranty machines for free (if under warranty and confirmed manufacturer defects).
Do You Fix CPAP Humidifiers?
We usually don't recommend humidifier repairs because it is not cost-effective.
Does The Repaired Machine Have Warranty?
1 year - only for newly replaced parts.
CPAP Machine Repair Costs
The initial $99 processing fee provides a full machine diagnostic, repair quote, and covers the shipping cost of sending the machine back to you. If the machine diagnosis shows your machine is repairable, there will be a labor and parts charge for the repair. Before we start to fix the machine, we will send you a quote. We will need your consent before we fix the machine.
A typical CPAP repair (labor and parts) costs between $200-500, not including the processing fee.

I have been a cpap user for about 10 years now and the machine I have been using finally went out on me. I was searching around for a company that would take my machine in and have it repaired but all I have been getting were replies like "sorry your machine has been discontinued and we cant have it serviced or repaired." I was in a jam and couldn't find anything. I came across this "Out of warranty repair service" on Google and I called and asked about it.
Thanks to the fantastic customer service reps, they were able to help me and get my machine serviced for a $100 deposit. Unfortunately because my machine is so old, I wasn't able to get it repaired :( BUT! by using this service I was able to use that $100 deposit towards a new machine or get that money refunded back to me. Of course I used it towards a new machine. Now I have the System one Auto cpap machine by Philips and I could be happier. Thanks RespShop!
thanks rick (Asked on 03/30/2022)
I have a Res Med S8 Elite II that is very noisy (fan like noise) now. Pressure is still okay and seems to work correctly other than that. Are you able to service/repair this model?
Thank you. (Asked on 10/20/2021)
Unfortunately we are not able to repair the S8 as it is quite old. CPAP machines usually last 5 years and I would recommend looking into getting a newer model because it will be easier for you to find parts for a newer machine.
Is this unit still under warranty? What possible repairs are needed and what is the estimate cost?
Thanks. (Asked on 06/20/2022)
Thank you for reaching out to RespShop. You will need to contact the provider you purchased your machine from to see if the warranty is still active. If not repairs can range from $150-$800 depending on the issue. The repairs are not done here at RespShop, but sent back to ResMed. They will diagnose the issue and advise the full cost of what it will cost to fully repair the unit.
