ResMed AirFit CPAP Nasal Pillow Mask with Headgear - P30i
The AirFit P30i CPAP Nasal Pillow Mask with Headgear from ResMed is here for you to take back your sleep. With an innovative design and premier quality material, this mask is sure to delight. This nasal pillow CPAP mask features a top of the head air tubing connection. Not to mention its lightweight headgear frame.
While similar to the Philips Respironics DreamWear Pillow mask , the P30i improves upon its mask concept. It does this with an accordion style headgear that does not slide around. This of course, being a common complaint of the DreamWear.
The P30i also has a sister mask, however, in the AirFit N30i. This mask can be found here .
Freedom of Movement
Priority 1: Freedom.
Featuring a frame that is hollow by design and a hose connection strategically placed over the head. This makes for a great mask intended for any sleeper. Yet, more importantly it will work best for the active sleepers! Unlike older generation of mask, ResMed decided rethinking hose placement as a top priority. With the hose connection placed over the head, bulkiness in front of the face is no longer an issue.
New CPAP users and current CPAP users whom are concerned due to claustrophobic can rejoice! The ResMed AirFit P30i features an open field view perfect for those who are active prior to sleeping. Best of all the AirFit P30i Nasal pillow allows you to read from bed or watch TV. This is because, unlike some masks, it does not block your view! Did we mention no obstructions? The P30i is simply an unobtrusive mask perfect for your favorite night-time shenanigans.
Quieter Sleep for you Quietest Sleep for Bed Partner
Priority 2: Your bed partner.
With your partner in mind, ResMed went to great lengths with the design of the P30i nasal pillow mask. It has been well documented that noise is a constant uphill battle for CPAP users. By taking the necessary steps and continual feedback, ResMed has uncovered the answer. The P30i substantially reduces mask noise by 80% (compared to other nasal pillow options). This allows you to snuggle up closer without any push back. Sleep together a little more normal again.
Priority 3: Frame Design.
By creating a hollow Spring Fit frame, air freely passes through the frame and directly into the cushion. Even side sleepers will appreciate the ResMed AirFit P30i Nasal Pillow for it's innovation. As you will see once one side's travel way is impeded, air will redirect to the other side.
Designed with soft built ridges spanning from mid-frame to the top crown, the frame has the ability to stretch. Not to mention to provide extra length as needed. With the hose connection strategically placed above the head you have a full range of motion to move.
This will allow you to move without sacrificing the seal of the mask. If you get up during the night, fear not, the quick release elbow helps provide an easy way to disconnect. ResMed knows "one size fits all" doesn't always apply to all. Which is why the frame comes available in two sizes, small and standard.
Having a pliable design means adapting and contouring to practically any face. That is what makes the P30i stand on top. Lastly, soft sleeves are built-in resting comfortably on your cheeks and removing unwanted mask lines.

Recommended If You Have Facial Hair
If you are still shopping and looking for additional guidance on masks to consider, read on!
We all have unique facial structures and RespShop stocks a large variety of masks for CPAP so that everyone can find something that works best for them. Facial hair simply adds another wrinkle to the search for the mask that is your ticket to better sleep. Nasal Pillow masks do not anchor to the lower lip and are an easy solution. Many nasal pillow masks have narrow frames and thin headgear straps, adding up to less surface area that needs to lay flat. The ResMed AirFit P30i mask is a great choice for beard loving person.
When shopping for a CPAP mask to wear with facial hair, don’t fall into the trap of sizing up. Use size guide and select the size that fits your facial structure. Over sizing results in leaks, frustration, and discomfort.

My brother recommended ResMed masks to me a few months ago when I was having issue with my previous one. I’m a pillow user so I made sure to look for their pillow line which landed me on this p30i. Only had it for about a week now but it’s doing good so I feel comfortable giving my thoughts.
Frankly, the part I always care most about is the pillow. How it fits, how it feels, and how it seals. Well thankfully, the p30i pillow is top class. The box comes with all 3 cushion sizes with the standard pack so I had no issue trying out all the sizes. I always appreciate when I don’t have to worry about measurements myself, since I struggle to even measure my pants size by myself (LOL). Medium was my pick and it’s supremely comfortable. It doesn’t feel like anything is there, but at the same time, I know it’s sealing well. I breathe perfectly well and all the usual benefits of going with a pillow apply. Hopefully these pillows hold out well over the long term so I don’t have to replace it too often.
Other than the pillow, the mask is good too. There’s only two frame sizes but it seems like they recommend just getting the standard size for most people. It fits my face well and I imagine I’m about the size of an average person. Also it’s comfortable and doesn’t hurt to wear/leave imprints. That’s about all I have to say, really good mask overall.
The P30i is an excellent mask that I would give 5 stars in all areas. I was deciding between the DreamWear and this mask, but I saw the little baffles on the top frame and figured it might help hold the mask better at night. For reference, I’m someone who moves a lot while sleeping so grip of the mask is a big concern for me.
Right off the bat, the mask is incredibly comfortable and well-fitting. The frame is light and pliable, so it rests on and fits around my face without issues. The headgear is pretty standard but it’s soft and breathable, which is all I can really ask for. It stretches to fit well too, living up to the idea that it’s one size fits all. The other primary comfort feature of the mask is the dual airway design, going down both sides of the head. Both can provide air to you, so you can sleep on your side and the one airway will keep pumping. Great because it means I can sleep comfortably on my side at night and I had no issues with breathing. Another excellent touch is the hose connector being at the top of the head. I love this feature since I can keep my air tube away from my neck and chest, where it usually runs. It also means I can sleep facing away from my machine without problems.
Of course the most important part is the nasal pillow. I’ve been using pillows for years now so I’m used to them, but I still think the P30i pillow is excellent. The standard pack come with all 3 sizes so you can really be sure you’re getting the right fit. It’s not too hard, holds against my nose very well, and seals up tight. I haven’t had any leakage issues and I wake up feeling refreshed every morning.
I can’t say enough good things about the P30i, and I really think this is the mask I’ll use for the rest of my life. Hopefully, this mask and the parts for it never go out of production and are around for a long time.
This was the first nasal pillow, or mask for that matter that I purchased and I like it alot so far. It comes with 3 different sizes on the nose piece for you to choose from and I found the medium to be best for me.
It's also nice that the hose is on top of my head as having one infront of my face/neck was not very appealing to me and seemed like it would just get in the way. With this setup however, the hose does not get in the way.
One tip I can provide is that you don't want to tighten the straps too much or it will be uncomfortable and just irritate your nose.
I found that I only need to tighten it enough so that it won't move away from my nose causing an air leak if I decide to turn over on my side instead of laying on my back and it's perfect.
I like this mask, however, it pushes on my nostrils making them sore when I wake up in the morning. I get less air leakage with this mask.
I absolutely love the comfort of the head gear for this mask. I also likes the pillows however I wish they made an extra small or petite size nasal pillow as this one is just a bit too large but I can manage. The important feature to me is the comfort of the headgear.
After several years using the Dreamwear nasal mask with the original pillows, tired the other later versions and didn't like them so stuck with the original pillows, I thought I'd give the N30i a go. While it is a newer copied version of the original Dreamwear in my mind it falls down on a few areas.
The whole mask frame is thicker and larger than the Dreamwear and I found that is was more intrusive especially as the side frame covers are permanently fitted and tend to be slippery not soft.
The other thing that I found was that the exit holes in the actual mask piece deflect the exiting air downwards which in cold weather when you have the blankets up under your chin means the outgoing air hits the blankets and deflects back into your face which is very annoying.
The biggest problem for me was that the actual nasal piece is rigid with a silicone piece where it rests under your nose and despite trying all three sizes of mask none of them really suited me and as I'm a side sleeper the rigid plastic piece causes it to push into my face which is most uncomfortable.
So I've gone back to the good old Dreamwear and the N30i will sit in the cupboard unused.
Very fast shipping and value. The mask fits great and is very comfortable
Perfect I have good sleeps because enter of air tube is localised top of head. Furhermore air tube dont cling neck or face. Superrr
First of all, the P30i is quite comfortable to wear. It is very lightweight and not the least bit bulky like some of the full face masks that I have tried. I didn't miss at all having to tighten straps so much just to prevent air leaks and then looking in the mirror after removing the mask in the morning, and seeing all those marks on my face. But then came the downside for me. I would constantly find my self being awakened exhaling through my mouth. I tried using a chin strap along with the nasal mask, but that was too much work and defeated the reason for going to a less obtrusive mask. So, I have gone back to using my full face mask as it does allow me to have uninterrupted sleep.
This new P30i is the most comfortable mask yet. With the air flow hose over my head, I don't have to worry about wrapping myself up in hose.
Doesn't slip off my head, love it.
