Q. Hi, I use an ASV machine and am traveling to Europe. Would there be a mini option to use, especially for the plane and hotel?
A. Unfortunately no ASV machines come in travel size. If you have the Resmed Aircurve 11 or 10 however you can get a side cover for where the humidifier chamber is to make your machine a bit smaller.
Q. Does this come with a battery so it can be used on an airplane?

Q. What is the setup fee for?
A. The setup fee covers the cost of sanitizing the machine between users and replacing filters, and CPAP tubing.

Q. Will this automatically report my sleep data to my sleep specialist/provider? Or would they need to download it from the machine?

Q. Perhaps I missed something on your website, but for how long is the rental period. In other words how many days can I use it before returning?
Or is number determined when you order and charges are prorated?
A. The Rental period is a minimum of one month. You can rent for as long as you need. Shipping is included to and from. Rent begins the day of purchase. Included shipping is 2 - 8 business days. There are expedited shipping options if needed.
Q. I am taking two trips about three months apart, first a short stay and then a longer one. I'd like to try out this rental on the first one, and consider whether to rent or buy before the second. Would I have to pay the setup fee both times?
A. Hello Steve,
Yes, the set up fee would be charged both times. The fee covers, technician time to fully sanitize, set the device up with pressures, and test device for function prior to shipping. It will also cover some of the cost of shipping too and fourth, new accessories (filters, hose, muffler kit etc)
Q. How recent a prescription do you need for rental?
A. We will accept a prescription of any year. Please note we set your rental device up using the Rx, if your current prescription does not have your correct pressures, we do suggest obtaining a updated prescription. If you have a difficult time obtaining a prescription, we do have RespRx, a 10 min appointment with a sleep specialist, the fee is $69.00.
Q. Can this be packed in the checked bag or only in a carry-on?
A. We highly suggest bringing this in your carry on as checked baggage would sometimes just be thrown and it's not safe for the machine. But we highly suggest checking with the airline you are flying with as each airline has different regulations on CPAPs or medical devices.
Q. We plan to use our own mask. Other than the kit and the European adapter; is there anything additional (filters, etc.) we need to purchase for a two week trip?
A. The Rental will not come with the waterless Airmist HME Kit. If you are wanting some moisture I do recommend adding the Model: 505009, this will come with enough airmists to last you a month. You should be good to other than that.

Subject: Great product and Great Customer Service I ordered this device for rental so I could try it out before purchasing one. Since they are so expensive and I had ordered another travel cpap from resmed I did not like I didn't want to get stuck with another device. The process was painless and very fast. There appeared to be something wrong with the first device (I have since found out from Transcend customer service that this device does not work with their desktop app and you must use the phone app so there really was not anything wrong) and RespShop was right on it. they credited me and ordered me another one right away! I was impressed. I do like the device and once I get my money from Philips for their recalled dream station go I will purchase this one.

Subject: Transcend Micro Auto Travel I have rented the Transcend Micro Auto Travel CPAP machine to test. It's wonderful! Very compact, simple to use, and isn't loud at all. In fact I rented it because my Resmed 10 was making a grinding noise after only 2.5 years of use the the Transcend is nearly as quiet as the 10 was new.
