ResMed AirSense 10 Manual CPAP Machine
The AirSense 10 is one of the newest and most advanced CPAP devices from ResMed. With a sleek, integrated design and a host of advanced technology including EPR, an Easy-Breathe Motor, Auto-Ramp, AirView, an Integrated Humidifier, and more, this product will ensure you stay on course with your day-to-day sleep apnea therapy.
Cloud-Based Data Management
ResMed has implemented a revolutionary data management system in this product that integrates all the information you need via Cloud. A built-in wireless modem enables you to seamlessly connect with AirView, a cloud-based data management system that accumulates all your sleep apnea data from full-time sleep monitoring. With AirView, your healthcare provider can easily see key data such as Usage, Leaks, and Mask Information at any time. Your doctor or healthcare provider is able to monitor your progress full-time, and AirView can send email and text notifications based on your behavior. Furthermore, the wireless connection enables AirView to assess the condition of your machine and enable troubleshooting remotely without requiring you to leave your home. AirView is an optional feature and if you do not wish to use it, simply place your device in Airplane mode through the menu. Your data can instead be stored via an SD card (not included) and transferred to your healthcare provider manually. The SD card can store up to 365 days of data at one time. AirView comes free with a purchase from RespShop. Please call our customer service department to register your machine after purchase.
EPR
Expiratory Pressure Relief (EPR) decreases pressure at the onset of every breath and limits pressure throughout exhalation. Pressure can be reduced by 1, 2, or 3 cm of water pressure depending on your personal preference. Pressure changes are gradual so you will not wake up during the night. EPR also has advanced Event Detection which is able to determine if you are in the midst of an unnatural breathing episode. If the apnea lasts for more than ten seconds EPR will automatically cease until your normal breathing cycle continues.
Easy-Breathe Motor
Easy-Breathe technology monitors your breathing pattern and synchronizes your inspiratory and expiratory cycle in order to deliver pressure smoothly. The Easy-Breathe motor is exceptionally quiet, enabling you and your partner to drift off to sleep in a quiet environment.
Auto-Ramp
Auto-Ramp with sleep onset detection ensures low pressure comfort to provide a smoother transition so you can fall asleep. Once the machine detects that you have fallen asleep, the device ramps up to your prescribed pressure to ensure prompt air delivery the moment you need it. You can set the duration of the ramp from 0 to 45 minutes, and the pressure will gradually increase in 5 minute increments.
Mask Fit
There is a mask fit feature that analyzes whether or not your mask is properly fit. Simply access the my options menu and select the “run mask fit” option. You can select 3 different mask types -- Nasal, Full Face, and Nasal Pillow -- to ensure maximum synchronization between your mask and the AirSense 10.
Intuitive User Menu and Large LCD Screen
Usability is the primary focus. ResMed has provided incredibly simple, large buttons for navigation and an uncomplicated menu to access the pertinent information you need. The wheel dial enables you to easily select the settings you desire and the large buttons ensure a hassle free experience. A large backlit LCD screen provides clear viewing at any point during the night or day, and with a built in light sensor the screen will automatically dim at night.
SmartStart and SmartStop
The SmartStart and SmartStop feature enables you to start your therapy by breathing into the mask, and stop your therapy by taking your mask off. This provides a hassle-free experience that gets you ready in the mornings quicker, and into bed faster.
Integrated Humidification
The AirSense 10 utilizes an integrated humidifier that is designed to deliver quality humidification, hassle-free. The Climate Control comes with an Auto option that regulates temperature and humidity automatically at levels designed to deliver optimal comfort. There are no complicated menus or settings, making humidification simple and easy. An integrated humidifier means fewer parts to manage overall, and the water tub is able to hold 380mL of water. As a safety feature, the humidifier must be removed from the device in order to refill it with water for humidification.
ClimateLineAir
ClimateLineAir is a heated CPAP tube that helps reduce rainout. It is designed to work in conjunction with the heated humidifier to provide and regulate quality humidification. The ClimateLineAir with the heated humidifier is able to provide consistent humidification even in fluctuating ambient room temperatures, ensuring a quality night of sleep.

Reviewer's Tip
The ClimateLine tubing does not work with this product. You must use the new ClimateLineAir, which features different prongs.

FAQ
Can I use this machine on my flight?
Yes, medical devices do not count against the luggage limit. Switch your dial to Airplane Mode and do not use water in the water tub on a plane. You will need a power supply or an outlet on the plane.
I am getting water on my nose, in the mask, and in the air tubing.
Your humidity level may be set too high; try adjusting the humidity level.
Air pressure in my mask seems too high, what can I do?
The Ramp feature may be turned on; wait for air pressure to build up or turn Ramp Time off.
Why is therapy data not being sent to my provider?
That could be from a poor wireless connection or from Airplane mode. Turn Airplane mode off if it is on. If you have a poor connection try to find an area with a stronger signal. Alternatively, if you live in an area with poor connection, the SD card is an option to store and transfer data.

Very nice, quiet machine. Not too big, even with the humidifier, so fits good on a bedside table. Easy to use, and very good interface screen. Works great for me.
I bought this to replace the Respironics Dreamstation that I was renting from another online medical supply company. Purchasing this device will cost me less than one year's co-pay and more importantly, stop the incessant phone calls, emails, and texts wanting me to purchase additional supplies.
It doesn't look like a piece of medical equipment setting on my bedside table. It's SO QUIET! Easy to choose my preferences, see my therapy results, and it took me less than 5 minutes to set the entire thing up (including taking it out of the box).
But the value of the machine pales in comparison to the Customer Service I received. They went above and beyond any sales experience I've ever had ----- and I never even had to speak to anyone on the phone! They know what they are doing and take out all of the guesswork quickly, efficiently, and most of all, painlessly.
Performance like this has assured them that I will be a customer for life. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
