The Luna G3 BiPAP 25A is an automatic BiPAP machine from React Health that offers both BiPAP and CPAP therapy options. It features Auto CPAP, fixed pressure CPAP, BiPAP S (Spontaneous) and Auto S or Auto BiPAP modes. The unit weighs only 3.75 lbs and measures 10.4" x 5.7" x 4.5," making it easily portable for travel. It comes with a sturdy zippered travel bag with multiple compartments to hold the BiPAP machine, heated tubing and power supply.
The Luna G3 Auto BiPAP features an integrated heated humidifier with a 360 ml water chamber that can be easily detached from the side with a simple push-and-release mechanism. The humidifier water chamber can be also be opened from the top and filled with water while connected to the device. A large LCD display and control knob situated to the right of the screen allow users to easily navigate through menu settings while the prominent start/stop button on the top of the device initiates therapy. The home screen helpfully displays the prescribed sleep apnea therapy mode and pressure settings, eliminating any confusion users may have about their prescription.
Comfort Features
As the latest auto BiPAP from React Health, the Luna G3 25A comes with all of the standard comfort features expected from contemporary BiPAP devices. These include Reslex, Ramp Time/Auto Ramp, Rise Time and Auto On. Reslex is an exhalation pressure relief feature that can significantly improve therapy compliance and comfort. It can be switched off or adjusted from 1 to 3, with each value signifying a different degree of pressure reduction during exhalation.
The Ramp function is an essential comfort feature that makes falling asleep much easier for those new to therapy. Ramp incrementally raises the starting pressure from a lower, more comfortable level to the prescribed therapy pressure over a designated Ramp Time (0-60 mins). Auto Ramp, an enhanced ramp feature, maintains pressure at a lower setting and only increases it after the user has fallen asleep.
Integrated Humidifier and Heated Tubing
The Luna G3 BiPAP machine comes with a built-in humidifier and 6ft integrated heated tubing for optimal temperature and humidity management. Users have the option to select from five humidity levels or use the Auto setting which allows the device to adjust humidity based on environmental conditions. The humidifier also comes with a 30 minute preheat feature.
The included heated tubing features standard 22mm connection cuffs which are compatible with all masks. While the Luna G3 BiPAP also supports non-heated tubing with standard 22mm cuffs, we recommend using a heated tube to prevent excess condensation in the CPAP hose and mask.
Data Access
The Luna G3 Auto BiPAP provides users with convenient access to their sleep data through SD card download or the 3B Luna QR Code mobile app (available for Android/iOS). Users can view their compliance reports on their smartphones by scanning a QR code created by the device using the app. If the idea of using an app to view your therapy data is unappealing, you an also use the web-based iCode Connect program to access your compliance. Accessible via an internet browser, iCode Connect allows users to generate reports using two methods: SD card download or iCode input. The iCode is a machine generated string of 16 digits and can be found under the "Report" icon on the home screen.
Healthcare providers can also access therapy data remotely via the integrated cellular modem included in the Luna G3 Auto BiPAP. This modem automatically transmits compliance data and in-depth therapy information, allowing providers to monitor therapy progress and provide better follow-up care. Providers can also adjust prescription settings remotely, saving you a trip to the doctor's office.

How do I clean my Luna G3 BiPAP 25A?
Unplug the Luna G3 Auto and wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth. The water chamber and heated tubing should be removed and washed with mild soap and warm water at least once a week. The water chamber is also top rack dishwasher safe. If washing by hand, soak the water chamber and heated tubing in warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly under running water. Air dry the water chamber and tubing away from direct sunlight.
To minimize mold and bacteria buildup, we recommend emptying the water chamber every 1 to 2 days. Use only distilled water in the water chamber to minimize mineral buildup that can leave a stubborn, white chalky residue on the bottom of the chamber.
How often should I replace my Luna G3 BiPAP supplies?
The tubing (heated or non-heated) and water chamber should be replaced every 6 months. The reusable foam filter that comes with the machine should be replaced every 6 months. A disposable filter can be used in place of the reusable filter; however, it should be replaced every 2 to 3 months as it cannot be washed. Please note that the frequency of filter replacements may vary depending on air quality.
Can the Luna G3 Auto BiPAP be used on the plane?
The Luna G3 Auto BiPAP is FAA approved for in-flight use. BiPAP machines are medical equipment and do not count against an airline’s carry-on limit. Please make sure you are familiar with your airline’s on-board CPAP/BiPAP use policy prior to traveling to avoid any delays.
Does the Luna G3 heated tubing work with any machine?
The Luna G3 heated tube is designed for all Luna G3 CPAP and BiPAP machines. It is not compatible with machines from other manufacturers and the Luna G2 series.
How do I adjust pressure on my Luna G3 BiPAP 25A?
Pressure settings can only be adjusted on the Luna G3 BiPAP 25A through the clinical menu. Please consult your doctor before making changes to your therapy pressure as adjustments may affect the effectiveness of your treatment.
