The Luna G3 Heated Tubing is compatible with all Luna G3 CPAP and BiPAP machines. It is 6 ft long with a 19mm inner diameter and features 22mm cuffs which connects to all standard CPAP masks. To optimize comfort and prevent condensation, this heated tube boasts five adjustable temperature settings, which can be easily accessed and modified through the Settings menu on your Luna G3 device.
Note: The "Heated Tubing" option is only visible under the Settings menu when the heated tube is connected to the machine.

Heated CPAP tubing serves one primary purpose: preventing moisture buildup in the tube. The heated and humidified air from your CPAP machine cools as it travels from the machine to your face, leading to condensation buildup that, in extreme cases, result in water sloshing around in your hose and mask. If there is a draft nearby (e.g., you sleep with a fan on or near the window), or if you sleep with the AC on, the odds of this happening is even greater.
Condensation in your CPAP tubing is a problem as air flowing past the water droplets can create loud popping sounds that disrupt your sleep. Excess condensation or rainout can result in water splashing onto your face or even into your nose!
Using a heated hose solves these problems because the heated hose helps maintain a constant temperature throughout your CPAP circuit. This temperature control insulates the air inside the tubing from the cooler temperature in its surroundings. How do I clean and maintain the Luna G3 Heated Tube?
The Luna G3 Heated Tube should be cleaned once a week using warm water and mild detergent. Avoid using harsh chemicals or cleaning agents such as bleach, as they can damage the tubing. We recommend using a hose brush to scrub the inside of the tube for a thorough clean. Rinse the tube out with running water and hang the tube up, allowing it to air dry away from direct sunlight.
How do I connect the Luna G3 Heated Tube to my Luna G3 CPAP/BiPAP machine?
- Connect one end of the Luna G3 Heated Tube to the air outlet on the back of your Luna G3 device.
- Locate the heated tubing port to the right of the air outlet and plug in the power plug that is part of the Luna G3 Heated Tube.
- If the heated tubing is correctly inserted, you will see a number appear next to the heated tubing icon located on the top left hand corner of the screen. This number represents the current temperature setting of the heated tubing.
- Connect the other end of the Luna G3 Heated Tubing to your CPAP mask.
