This looked like an interesting mask, one of the more clever designs, so decided to try it. It is a clever design, and I like the concept of the hose coming away at the top of the head. I also like the airflow coming down both sides--excellent idea. But the mask has a significant downside: it is noisy. The airflow produces a steady background noise, and my breathing modulates that noise. It is a distraction in trying to fall asleep. Most of the noise seems to come from the front vent--noisy air holes. I wish that air could be delivered back to the top near the hose, and a more silent passage created. The other thing I found bothersome is the air directed up my nostrils instead of having a static chamber to draw from. Even with my heated hose, the air was cold. And the high velocity seemed to agitate the hair in my nostrils. Respironics, you are so close on this design, but these peculiarities make the mask unpleasant to use. I will give it high marks for comfort of fit.
