DreamWear Gel Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask - Philips Respironics
A Dreamers Dream Come True
The DreamWear gel nasal pillow CPAP mask with headgear by Philips Respironics is not only magnificent but truly one of a kind. The Philips Respironics DreamWear gel nasal pillow mask is one of three masks in the DreamWear mask line. Unsurprisingly, Philips Respironics has gone beyond all expectations when designing the DreamWear masks.
The DreamWear mask line is now offered in both nasal and nasal pillow masks. By using a different headgear combined with the DreamWear frame, this mask is also interchangeable with the DreamWear Full Face cushion. If you would prefer to try the full face mask version it can be found here .
Frames for Side-Sleepers
The mask frame of the DreamWear gel pillow mask works best for those with sleep apnea because of its unique design. The tube-like frame is perfect for side sleepers. Its simplistic design makes it easy to read in bed or watch TV as it does not block your field of vision like traditional masks. The airflow is designed to pass through the frame to reach the nasal cushion. The airflow does not cut off when laying on your side. At the top of the frame is a rotating tube connector. This allows tubing to be connected at the top of the head. The frame has adopted the open view design, allowing CPAP users to watch TV or read before bed.
All Sized Gel Pillow Cushions
DreamWear gel pillows are possibly the comfiest nasal pillows you will ever sleep with. The DreamWear nasal pillow mask will include all sized gel nasal pillow cushions (FitPack only). Thanks to the fit pack, nasal pillow size is no longer a concern for CPAP users! Nasal pillow cushions are interchangeable with any size DreamWear frames. Gel cushions are comfortable and lightweight. You will hardly feel any weight on your face or experience red marks caused by other CPAP masks. In fact, the DreamWear Gel Nasal Pillow feels like you are wearing no mask at all.
Top Notch Tube Connector
Not only is the frame for the DreamWear masks one of a kind, but Philips Respironics takes it one, huge step forward by creating a mind-blowing tube connector at the top of the head. This genius design reduces the annoying presence of the tubing hanging forward. For those who tend to toss and turn in their sleep, this mask is a great alternative to most prescribed masks. By having the tube connector at the top of the head this allows for easy movement while in bed. The connector allows for a 360-degree swivel. Reducing the chance of tangled tubing.

Tips to Assemble the DreamWear Gel Pillow CPAP Mask
Thrust the mask elbow to the frame prior to being completely enclosed in the frame connection. In order to attach the nasal pillows, organize the arrow on the front with the arrow on the frame and squeeze the two together up to being sank-into place, then do the same thing for the other side. Make sure that the arrow on the cushion is matched with the arrow on the frame so the cushion will work properly if it is connected well to the frame. The headgear needs to be coiled to the slots in the frame and attached to secure the tightness. The headgear should be linked so that the Philips Respironics logo as well as the DreamWear logo faces outward.
Tips to Disassemble the DreamWear Gel Pillow CPAP Mask
The nasal pillow cushion can be detached by dragging the ends away from the frame. Identically, the mask elbow can be detached by simply dragging it out of the frame. The headgear can be detached by releasing the hook and coiled fasteners and then detaching it from the headgear slots of the frame. When the frame wraps are fixed, they can be detached by releasing the hooks and coiled fasteners.
Tips for Cleaning the DreamWear Gel Pillow CPAP Mask
Except for the headgear, the parts of the DreamWear gel pillow CPAP Mask should be hand-washed every day. An excellent way to clean this mask is by the use of mild dish soap and warm water. The parts should be rinsed completely then allow it to air-dry out of direct sunlight. On the other hand, when it comes to the headgear, it should be hand-washed every week in the same way.
For those short on time, we also recommend CPAP cleaning machines such as the So Clean or the Lumin. Both of these units make an excellent addition to any household as they ease the time it takes to clean your equipment.
What's The FitPack?
The DreamWear Gel FitPack comes with the standard size frame (medium) and three sizes gel pillows (S/M/L) in the package so it guarantees you find the right size you would need!
How to locate my size I am using?
The DreamWear comprises of three pieces: cushion, frame and headgear.
The cushion size can be found on the front of the cushion next to the arrow in which indicates the direction the cushion should be connected to the frame. Coming in 3 different sizes: Small, Medium, and Large you will be sure to find the best fit for you.
Determining the frame is simple as well, it is located right behind the elbow connection of the frame and comes in Small, Medium and Large. Therefore, this will usually fit any shape head.
How should I clean my DreamWear Gel mask?
It is quite simple to clean the DreamWear and just like any other mask it should be cleaned daily. By using warm water and mild soap you will prolong the overall lifespan of these parts. However, we do not recommend using anti-bacterial soap as this may lessen the lifespan of your mask and equipment. Once washed, rinsing and air drying is normally the best recommendation. As for the headgear it is best to follow suit however you are fine to wash it at the end of the week. Does this mask come with a short tube? No. The mask comes with an elbow but no short tube.

Subject: Good value mask
My favorite part about Dreamwear nasal mask is just how comfortable it is. If you position the pillows under your nostrils right, it should be very comfortable. The velcro used keeps it secured on my head when I use it. Even when I shift positions, this mask has worked well. The hose swivel at the top has been doing its job very well. I have had no troubles with leaks either. It works just as advertised.
I'd say the main problem with this mask is the noise. It's not excessively loud, but it's not very quiet either. Compared to some of my older masks, I would say it definitely is on the louder side. If it was quieter, I would give it a 5 stars because I am very sensitive to sound. I hope Respironics can fix this in the future.
Ok so I read a lot of the reviews on here and was a little scared to try out this mask. But it was actually a decent mask Like I actually like this mask a lot. I have long hair so I put my hair into a bun when I sleep and I just put the strap right underneath my bun. (also I sleep on my back so idk how good this mask is for people who sleep on their side BUT for people who sleep on back i can say for sure that this mask is real nice.)
My old mask blew air into my eyes sometimes and I really hated it. But this mask doesn't do that at all. It's super secure even though I've been told I move a LOT when I sleep. This mask somehow stays on sealed nice and tight. And its also very comfortable. I dont have to wake up at night and fix it at all or anything. I've tried a lot of masks in the past but I'd say this mask is definitely at least in the top 5 masks I've tried before. I really like it.
Have to say it is poor quality, Just got mine a few months ago and the strap is falling apart because it was not stitched properly. This is also a health hazard as the tube on the head is not insulated enough nor does it have a cloth wrap to protect the head from the cold which can cause fevors and colds.

This mask is comfortable but my main complaint is that the exhaust valve seems too small and it prevents me from exhaling fully through my nasal passages.
Hi there, Thank you for giving your review. Luckily we do have a Mask Assurance Policy so please contact us to get this resolved for you. RESPSHOP 866-936-3754
Love this mask! Lets me move in my sleep without the hose getting in the way. Great value, price and fast delivery. I will be purchasing all my CPAP needs from respshop.
Right out of the box the elbow at the top of the mask leaks, losing air making noise waking me up.
Yes, its secure and snapped in place.
Also have chafing under my nose from the mask.
Nasal gel pillow constantly slipped off even after tightening head strap. Not as described for comfort and a side sleeper. I went back to my ReaMed N20 nasal mask after only four days.
This mask leaks less than the original DreamWear mask that has a slit instead of pillows. It does make a little more sound from the releif port than the original. Other than that they are the same and the nose pieces are interchangeable.
It doesn't really work for me personally. I prefer the half mask
It works very well for me it's a little bit big for me
Comfortable but significant leaking problems regardless of the size. A big disappointment.
This mask just doesn't fit my face. The angle is such that it hurts both my nose and upper lip.
This looked like an interesting mask, one of the more clever designs, so decided to try it. It is a clever design, and I like the concept of the hose coming away at the top of the head. I also like the airflow coming down both sides--excellent idea. But the mask has a significant downside: it is noisy. The airflow produces a steady background noise, and my breathing modulates that noise. It is a distraction in trying to fall asleep. Most of the noise seems to come from the front vent--noisy air holes. I wish that air could be delivered back to the top near the hose, and a more silent passage created. The other thing I found bothersome is the air directed up my nostrils instead of having a static chamber to draw from. Even with my heated hose, the air was cold. And the high velocity seemed to agitate the hair in my nostrils. Respironics, you are so close on this design, but these peculiarities make the mask unpleasant to use. I will give it high marks for comfort of fit.
this is my second dreamwear mask... they are the best i think. comfortable and easy to use. I cant stress this enough.
the new gel nose attachment makes this a even better product... they are comfortable and stay in place during the treatment.
the different sizes for the gel attachment are wonderful... as at certain times you may want to interchange the size for comfort. a plus
disassembles so easy to allow for cleaning and drying.... the hose at the top allows for more comfort and less tangle during the night. im a side sleeper and this mask works so well.... your comfort less is amazing ... i have tried other mask... and this is far superior.
I have tried three different masks and this is by far the best. Its very comfortable and I can sleep well in any position.
This mask is the best thing ever for me! I started years ago with a full face mask and then I found this one. The difference was amazing! I don't see myself ever going back to the full face style. I'm sleeping much better and I have freedom to change me sleeping position with no problem. Even sleeping on my stomach is no problem.
Was hoping the exhaust would be at the top, too but disappointed that it is both at the nose and at the top. Also, it is difficult to clean.
had to go back to my old mask setup. Was unable to get use to the air being forced up thru the nose. Anna
