Mirage Micro Nasal CPAP Mask by ResMed
The ResMed Mirage Micro Nasal CPAP Mask with Headgear is one of the easiest to fit and most comfortable masks for CPAP therapy on the market.
Highly Customizable Design
The Mirage Micro offers one of the most personalized fits of any nasal CPAP mask. An innovative MicroFit Dial on the forehead support allows you to select one of 24 different mask angle settings. Simply turn the dial to change the angle of the frame and cushion to pick the right level of tightness for your face. This can be done with one hand so you can easily adjust your mask fit while lying in bed.
The forehead support system gently presses against your face, working with the headgear to enable a secure fit.
Comfortable Cushion
The Mirage Micro Nasal Mask features a dual-wall cushion that conforms to your face for a comfortable and supportive seal. The inner layer of the cushion gently adheres to your skin while the outer layer forms the base of the nasal cushion for a comfortable yet secure fit. The dual-wall cushion comes in five sizes: Small, Medium, Large, Large Wide, and Extra Large.
Reviewer’s Tip:
The forehead support and MicroFit Dial can be taken apart for cleaning. Remember to note your setting on the MicroFit Dial before disassembly for the next time you use the mask.

The mask works well, even if it's an older design. It's fairly bulky but when adjusted properly, feels comfortable and works without issue. I have nothing about it to complain about.
I know a lot of people I talked to about CPAP masks don’t like forehead/nasal bridge supports but I never minded them. As mentioned, the bar on my last mask broke so I was hoping to find something more durable or without a bar. Well this mask has a very large bar but I actually think it’s fantastic. The part that touches the forehead is two large pads that really help to diffuse the force so it leaves no imprint. The bar also has this really neat dial that you turn to get small increments of tightening/loosening, which I think is amazing for getting the right cushion fit. If you’re someone who struggles with the tyranny of straps, I would highly recommend this dial system.
The cushion does its job, it fits really well (maybe due to the great dial). Easy to clean, I just usually soak it in some warm water and wipe it dry but I’m sure everyone has their own preferred way to do it.
Fit/Feel- The straps run around your head, parallel to the ground, so no strap over the top of your head. I haven’t experienced any slippage issues, so this headgear design is perfect. Four straps, two on each side, so no problems getting the right adjustment. Also, on the forehead portion, there’s this dial that you can turn to adjust finer size increments. Great feature, and it really helped me get an even better adjustment and fit. Nose cushion is good too, comfortable and fits. No red ring problems, but that might just be because I’m always diligent about adjusting the straps perfectly.
Other notes- Quick clasps are nice, makes it easy to take off which helps a lot on rough mornings where I don’t want to tangle with my mask. Also the mask does seem a bit quieter since the exhalation holes are spread in a circle. Don’t feel any kind of stream of air blowing onto me, which is always useful for getting a good’s night sleep.
Great mask overall. I would highly recommend for the above reasons.
