New Leak Resistant CPAP Mask

Introducing the Quest, the latest full face CPAP mask from Hans Rudolph. The Quest is a full face mask with a chin support and wraparound headgear. The Hans Rudolph CPAP mask features a single diffusion port for predictable oxygen ventilation and the comfortable straps make it an ideal mask for side sleepers. The Quest also features quick release headgear straps for easy application and removal, even in the dark.

Single Piece Mask

The Quest is a single piece CPAP mask with only one point of attachment. For your convenience, all you need to do to put on the Hans Rudolph full face mask is to fit it around your face, and then attach one of the headgear straps. It couldn't be easier!

Lightweight Headgear

The Quest's lightweight headgear feature Velcro-like straps for easy attachment and removal. The headgear comes with two straps on each side of your face, one above and below the ear. Only one strap needs to be connected to attach the mask.

360 Degree Elbow Rotation

The Quest features a 360 degree rotating elbow, allowing you to toss and turn at night without compromising the quality of your seal. It comes with a blue detachable swivel port. The port has micro ventilation holes to help direct expelled air away from you and your partner.

Five Sizes

The Quest comes in five different sizes: petite, extra small, small, medium, and large. Like all general cpap masks, you should opt for the smaller mask if you feel that you're normally in between sizes.

Anti-Asphyxia Valve

If the flow malfunctions, the Quest is programmed to open, allowing you to breathe room air. The valve of the mask opens if the mask pressure falls below 3 cm H20.

FAQ

Is this CPAP mask lightweight?

Relative to other masks, the Quest is actually a little heavier. However, much of the weight is spread throughout the mask, and the additional leverage is intended to help keep the cushion in place for a durable seal. Reviews we've read suggest that users don't mind the added weight, especially because the seal is so effective.

How many different headgear sizes are available?

The headgear comes in one size. It is adjustable.

What is the advantage to the Quest's oxygen port?

The oxygen port is located on the mask's swivel, which is away from your face. Because there's only one oxygen port, air will flow out of the mask in a predictable pattern, which helps you to keep it away from you and your partner.

This mask is great. So far my husband is not snoring, whistling or gasping. The spates are not leaving marks on his face either. We are very satisfied.

I just ordered this HR Quest. It arrives tomorrow so I will update. I'm always a Medium in every mask I have tried but the sizing of this mask puts me at a small. It comes in 5 sizes, way to go HR. I read more positive than negative so that's why I'm giving it a try. I'm hoping to find a mask to switch off with my Quattro FX. So I'm hoping this fits the bill. I will update after tomorrow when I get to try it for a night. Wish me luck!

This mask is perfect having no problem at all, very light weight and easy to use. Headgear comes with two straps one on each side of your face and above and below the ear, but just one needs to be connected to attach you mask. Very easy to attach and to remove.Inside part of the cusion is very soft just don't make it so tight when wearing the mask, so you wont have any marks when waking up in the morning. And the good thing with this mask is that it comes in 5 sizes.

Pretty good mask so far. I used the 7600 so I upgraded to this one and so far I would say the small tweaks they made have been pretty good. Its comfortable and the seal is good which is the most important thing. I have gone through many masks because I rip them off at night if they arent working well which is a bad habit and so far with this one I havent had to do that.

Bought the small as recommended for regular large size. It was too small. They at Respshop exchanged it for medium. That size was better but it will not seal on my face. If I move my mouth , turn my head or do anything other than have my head in a weird position the seal breaks. For me this is not a good mask. For someone else maybe it will work. I have tried adjusting it for several nights and give up each time and put my old mask on even thou it is a bad fit also.

Ok, so here is the follow up after trying the HR Quest for 2 nights. I was hopeful with this mask and it was OK in comfort so that gives it one star. the build and head gear quality are well made thus 2 stars. That is where the Pros stop. The deal breaker is the MASSIVE size. I am not a huge guy, I'm in good physical condition I'm one of those small percentage of people that inherited sleep apnea. I imagine if you have a larger than normal face size this may work for you but for a normal size guy, 6ft, 170lbs. it takes up almost my whole face and as can be imagined it made my face seat all night. Back to my beloved Quattro FX!!!

Bought a Hans Rudolph Quest XS because I frequently breath through my mouth & I'm a side sleeper. It is a BIG disappointment & a waste of money. My CPAP machine indicates that it has a poor seal no matter how I adjust all the straps. On the part sealing against the face & nose, a less-than-flexible silicon is used which is VERY abrasive on my cheeks (to the point that the skin was rubbed raw on one cheek. ). I suspect that is also why the seal isn't good (i.e. silicon not flexible enough). The chin part DOES work though eliminating a lot of the mouth breathing. However it's NOT worth the money to buy unless you want to start investing in special liners etc. Also note that this mask is NOT covered by the 30-day warranty so once you buy it, you're stuck with a piece of useless junk.
