The ResMed Mirage FX For Her Nasal CPAP mask is designed for a woman's facial features. This mask comes in a smaller size than the regular Mirage FX and features pink trim around the outside of the headgear.

Like the Mirage FX, the Mirage FX For Her comes in a simple four-part design with an easily detachable elbow, a dual-wall cushion, a lightweight frame, and a soft, adjustable headgear.

Dual-Wall Cushion
The dual-wall cushion is designed for optimal performance. The outer wall provides a stable base while the inner wall wraps around the nose for a comfortable and secure fit. The cushion distributes pressure evenly around the nose and is extra soft at the nasal bridge to reduce soreness.

The Mirage FX For Her’s plush, SoftEdge headgear reduces marks and discomfort and comes with four adjustment points for a customized fit. Two adjustment points are on the forehead, next to the flexible "butterfly-wing" forehead support, and the other two are on the sides of the face next to the jaw.

The "butterfly-wing" forehead support moves with the headgear as you adjust the fit to ensure you maintain a good seal around the nasal bridge. Despite its name, no part of the "butterfly-wing" forehead support actually touches the forehead, so there's no need to worry about hard plastic parts or unsightly red marks.

How do I clean the Mirage FX For Her CPAP mask?
We recommend cleaning masks with warm water, mild soap, and a soft bristle brush. Disassemble the mask before cleaning with soap and water and rinse each part thoroughly under running water/drinkable quality water. All parts should be air dried away from direct sunlight.
Cushion, frame, and elbow should be cleaned daily and headgear weekly.

What is the difference between the Mirage FX For Her Headgear and the Mirage FX Headgear?
Aside from being pink rather than gray, the Mirage FX For Her Headgear is also slightly smaller than the Mirage FX Headgear. The two headgear are interchangeable.

Are the two cushions interchangeable?
No, the small and standard cushions are not interchangeable. The small cushion is only compatible with the small frame and the standard cushion is only compatible with the standard frame.

How do I clean my Mirage FX For Her Nasal Mask?

Weekly cleaning: headgear
Daily cleaning: cushion, frame, elbow assembly

Disassemble the mask.
Hand wash all parts in warm water with mild soap. Avoid soaking the parts for more than ten minutes.
Rinse each part thoroughly under running water and squeeze excess water out from the headgear.
Let the mask components air dry completely out of direct sunlight.

How often should I replace my Mirage FX For Her Nasal Mask?

To maintain the best fit and seal for your CPAP therapy, we recommend replacing the entire mask, including the headgear and frame, every 6 months.

The silicone cushion, however, may need to be replaced more frequently, typically every 2 to 3 months. Silicone naturally softens over time, which can affect its ability to create a good seal.

My Mirage FX For Her is leaking. What should I do?

Gently pull the mask away from your face and then release it, allowing the cushion seal to inflate and settle comfortably around your nose.
Make sure to clean both your mask cushion and your face, as facial oils can interfere with the seal.
Ensure you're wearing your Mirage FX For Her according to the fitting instructions in the user guide. The way you put on the mask significantly impacts the seal.
Adjust your headgear as necessary.
Try a larger or smaller cushion size.
Replace any worn out mask parts.

I have an old ResMed s8 which I was originally given the Comfortel Mask that I've used and replaced for many many years. This time I was starting to get annoyed by how the ComfortGel mask is made so that there are a lot of moving parts that can get broken or damaged, so I decided to find something else that would fit my machine. This mask not only fits perfectly, since it uses the standard universal sized tubing, but it's SO much lighter and more comfortable to wear at night. I often forget I have it on. They only concern I had was that it IS very light and delicate, so I placed a command hook on the side of my headboard where I hang it up out of the way each morning to prevent accidents. Even though this one is much more expensive, I'm so thankful I found and took a chance on this!

This is the most comfortable, simplest mask I've ever used and I will never use anything else. The headgear is soft and very easy to adjust. The configuration of the headgear ensures it stays on your head, no slipping. The nasal mask is very comfortable with a minimum of leaks, if any. There are only four parts that all click together which make it very to clean. I have tried more masks than I care to remember from full face to nasal pillows to nasal only. My problem is I'm very petite, my feet are small, my hands are small and much to the amusement of my family, my head is small. This is the only mask that fits me well, and I love it.

There are so many, many nasal masks in the market now. It's so hard to find a perfect one for myself. Asking lots and lots of questions with your customer service person, which helped me to arrive to purchase this Mirage Fx Nasal mask to go with my new CPAP machine. It is pretty lightweight and easy to put on. The mask fits right on, just needed a few adjusts here and there and I am ready for a good night's sleep. It is not like a few masks I tried before, and they seemed to just sit there on your face. This one feels like it is almost not there after I worn it for about 5 minutes. Sleep just comes easily. No need to fuss around with the mask.

I've used a couple nasal mask and this one ranks in the middle for me. Its not bad nor is it great. I do like the color of the mask and how the cushion feels but there needs to be more.

Loving this mask not only because the headgear has a pink trimming but it is very soft and comfortable. The fitting is really good and I just need to make few adjustments and its very easy to put on. It doesn't really have a bulky forehead support like my old one this one doesn't really block my vision while watching tv when I have my mask on.
