The Mirage Activa LT is an improved version of the original Mirage Activa Nasal Mask from ResMed. Dual-Wall Cushion with ActiveCell Technology
ResMed designed the Mirage Activa LT Nasal Mask to respond to your movements during sleep. The dual-wall nasal cushion with ActiveCell technology provides a flexible seal that expands and contracts in response to changes in sleeping position and CPAP pressures.
The dual-wall design creates an air pocket between the walls which acts as a flexible, springy cushion seal. The ActiveCell cushion expands and contracts to prevent users from over-tightening their headgear when adjusting their seal. Over-tightening can cause unsightly strap marks and painful pressure points on the face.
The cushion rests gently over the nose, cupping the sides and rolling from side to side to accommodate changes in position. This ensures you have a consistent seal, no matter how you move.
Simple, Adjustable Design
The ResMed Mirage Activa LT Nasal Mask comes with a MicroFit Dial with 24 adjustment settings for a custom mask fit. You can easily turn the MicroFit dial with one hand to move the forehead support and nasal cushion closer or farther away from the face.
The Mirage Activa LT also comes with headgear clips that allow you to remove and fit the mask quickly without the need to readjust your headgear.
Compatibility Tips
The Small frame is only compatible with the Small cushion. The Medium frame is compatible with the Medium, Large, and Large-Wide cushions.
Both the Small and Medium frames are compatible with all sizes of headgear: Small, Medium, and Large. The Medium headgear is the standard headgear size and comes with all sizes of Mirage Activa LT Nasal Masks. The Small and Large headgear sizes are purchased separately.

How many sizes do the cushions come in?
The cushions come in four sizes: Small, Medium, Large, and Large-Wide.
How often should I replace the cushions?
We recommend that you replace the cushions every two to three months for optimal mask seal. If you go too long between cushion replacements, you may end up with mask leaks caused by a compressed or otherwise deformed cushion.
How is the new air diffuser different from that on the Mirage Activa?
The Mirage Activa LT Nasal Mask comes with a unique diffuser with exhalation ports arranged in a circular design. The ports disperse air away from you and your partner, making the Mirage Activa LT significantly quieter than the Mirage Activa Nasal Mask.
Does this mask work with all CPAP machines?
Yes, the ResMed Mirage Activa LT Nasal Mask works with all CPAP machines except for the ResMed AirMini Auto Travel CPAP Machine.

What isn't entirely clear from description is that to get a leak-free seal, you don't have to pull the straps tight, you hold the thing slightly loosely off the face as the air comes from the machine and the passage of air pushes the soft thin silicon of the mask out to the face to make the seal. Comfortable.
I've been using cpap off and on for the past 10 years. The off times were due mainly to poor mask fit. This mask is by far the best fit I've had. You just need to adjust the mask slightly on your face, if you over tighten it can't do it's job. I highly recommend this mask.
