VPAP ST
The AirCurve 10 VPAP ST machine features the latest and most sophisticated respiratory algorithms in any spontaneous/timed machine. The device provides inspiratory positive airway pressure and also has a backup rate to make sure that you get enough breaths per minute, even when you do not breathe spontaneously.

TiControl
The VPAP ST features TiControl, which helps to manage your inspiratory time by setting maximum and minimum time limits for inspiration. TiControl is particularly useful in helping to manage mask leaks and for customizing your respiratory cycles by controlling the time it takes for you to exhale.

Pressure Range
The AirCurve 10 ST comes with a pressure range of 3-25 cm H20, which is a wider pressure range than in a standard CPAP device. The VPAP ST is intended for users with central sleep apnea, who generally need more air pressure than users with obstructive sleep apnea.

SmartStart and SmartStop
The AirCurve 10 ST allows you to start and stop your therapy with just a single breath. After you've programmed your preferred settings into your machine, you can commence therapy simply by turning the machine on and breathing into your connected mask. Using SmartStop is just as easy: to conclude therapy, just remove the mask and your machine will automatically shut down after a few seconds.

HumidAir Humidifier
ResMed overhauled its humidifier in the AirCurve series. The new HumidAir heated humidifier is a part of every AirCurve VPAP and the design is smaller than the humidifiers in previous ResMed models. This makes your entire machine smaller and more portable. For users who don't normally use heated humidification, you still have the option of removing the humidifier from the device entirely, or not filling the water chamber. For those who do prefer to use heated humidification, simply fill the 380 ml water chamber and enjoy the benefits of a rainout and nasal congestion-free therapy.

Ramp
ResMed incorporated a brand new ramp in all AirCurve machines, including the 10 ST here. For the first time, you can set your ramp to delay the onset of air pressure by as many as forty-five minutes, which will let you fall asleep naturally and without a sudden infusion of air pressure. All you have to do is determine how long you want to delay the onset of pressure and then simply start the machine: after a time, the machine's ramp will kick in and incrementally increase pressure until you reach your desired settings.

Bright Screen, Intuitive Controls
ResMed designed the AirCurve 10 ST with the user in mind. That's why the device comes with big buttons, a brightly lit LCD screen, and an intuitive scrolling system that allows you to adjust your settings quickly and easily. The machine is also able to adjust screen brightness depending on ambient light, allowing you to see your screen perfectly at any time of day or night.

(Optional) Heating Tube
Every AirCurve 10 ST machine is compatible with ResMed's latest heated breathing tube, the ClimateLineAir. Mask Fitting

What is the difference between a VPAP and a VPAP ST?
A VPAP ST or BIPAP ST is a spontaneous timed BIPAP machine which allows a backup breathing rate to be set. Users can breathe spontaneously while using a VPAP ST and in the event that they fail to trigger a breath, the machine will deliver a breath based on the set back up breathing rate.

A VPAP or BIPAP machine, on the other hand, does not have the option to set a backup breathing rate. The machine will only deliver a breath when the user triggers it. If your BIPAP prescription has a backup breathing rate, you must use a machine with a ST (spontaneous timed) and/or T (timed) mode.

Will ResMed's old ClimateLine tube be compatible with this device?
No, the ClimateLine was for S9 series machines only. The ClimateLineAir is the only heated breathing tube compatible with AirCurve models.

Can I get this machine with a higher pressure range?
No, the only available pressure range for the ResMed AirCurve 10 VPAP ST is 3-25 CM H20.
