IMDK Finger Pulse Oximeter
The IMDK Finger Pulse Oximeter uses the latest oxygen sensing technology to accurately determine the level of oxygen in the blood (SpO2). With a SpO2 measurement accuracy range of ±2%, this pulse oximeter is ideal for spot-checking your SpO2 levels so you can stay on top of your health.
The IMDK Pulse Oximeter securely fits a wide range of finger sizes and is suitable for children as well as adults. The device operates on low power consumption, requiring only 2x AAA batteries (not included) to run. It automatic powers off after 8 seconds of inactivity to preserve battery life.
Perfusion Index
Perfusion index (PI) measures the amount of pulsatile blood flow to the skin. It is usually expressed as a percentage, ranging from 0.02% for very weak pulse to 20% for extremely strong pulse. Higher PI values indicate strong blood flow, while lower PI values may suggest weak perfusion or poor circulation at the monitored site.

Q. I am knew to oxygen therapy. My doctor told me I need to learn when my oxygen saturation levels drop. Will this finger pulse oximeter help with that?
A. Yes, when you place the oximeter on your finger, you will see that information. You will see your oxygenation levels alter as you change positions from sitting to standing, with or without oxygen.
Q. How is this thing supposed to stay on your finger while you're sleeping?
A. Hello, there is a little grip when you're wearing it so it should stay on in the night. You may be able to find a sleeve for it or use a little bit of masking tape to help secure it, but you don't want the tape to be too tight on the finger.

When my Mom was released from hospital with a prescription for oxygen therapy we were all a little overwhelmed. We had to get a 5l stationary home oxygen concentrator and tubing before she could be released. All we had was a prescription but no experience with oxygen at all. Our fears were put to rest when we called Respshop. The respiratory therapist we spoke to was so kind and just full of information for us. We learned about the concentrator, the bubble bottle and the tubing. My Mom needed oxygen therapy for exertional activity. Bought this elsewhere (about same price of $59.00). Arrived on 5/4. Product itself seems fine. Is it medically accurate? (Meaning: Should a medical practitioner rely upon it for diagnosis? I'm not a doctor...but please don't! Is it fine for the average person to get a better understanding of how their body works? Yes.

Functions as described. Accuracy is questionable- often get great variations in pulse/ bpm and Blood oxygen readings taken just minutes apart. Expensive so I expected better accuracy.

I bought this because it states it can be used to monitor sleep O2 levels. The instructions specifically state to not use for more than 2 hours. I don’t see any way to retrieve the 2 hours of data. Not at all what is advertised. I would not have bought this as I already have 2 that are similar. Also the text is very small and hard to read.
**update** customer service reached out to me and refunded my purchase.

I bought this oximeter because it states that it does sleep monitoring. However, this is wrong. On the instructions, it plainly states not to use it for more than 2 hours at a time.

Bought elsewhere (Amazon, dumb me, paid $6.78 more.) Impossible to read data out-of-doors, even in shade (jogging, tennis, etc.) Even in-doors, display is far too dim - for out-of-doors activity (except maybe at night) product is useless.

Worked fine the first few times I used it. Now the readings are all over the place. SpO2 as low as 80 and pulse rate as high as 300. If I turn it off and back on it occasionally gives correct numbers, but out of nowhere it can start giving screwy readings again. It's basically useless.
