Mirage Swift II Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask by ResMed
The Mirage Swift II Nasal Pillow Mask from ResMed incorporates an unusual but ergonomic design to upgrade your CPAP therapy. The short tube, traditionally positioned in front of the mouth to hang freely down in front of the chest or clipped to the top of the headgear, is instead positioned to the side of the frame.
The user can even adjust the short tube position to either the left or right side of the frame based on their side-sleeping preferences. In addition to this exclusive tube positioning system, the Mirage Swift II Nasal Pillow Mask also features a quiet air diffuser, a lightweight and open-face frame, and flexible nasal pillows for optimal performance.
Enhanced Pillow Design
ResMed modeled dozens of faces to design a nasal pillow cushion that would fit nearly every face. The nasal pillows in the Mirage Swift II are thinner than those in the original Swift model without sacrificing any of the comforts you've come to expect from a ResMed design.
The cushion contours around the base of the nose for an enhanced seal and rests on a cylindrical “barrel” frame. This barrel frame allows the nasal pillows to rotate forward and backwards inside the nose for a flexible seal.
Lightweight and Portable
At just 2.5 ounces, the Mirage Swift II is lightweight, flexible, and travel-friendly. The mask folds up easily and can fit in just about every travel bag or CPAP carrying case.
Quiet Air Diffusion
The Mirage Swift II Nasal Pillow Mask is a full 86% quieter than the original Swift model thanks to ResMed’s modifications on the venting system. The exhalation vents are now located on the frame instead of near the cushion, dispersing air down and away from the user to minimize noise.
This updated vent design ensures that you and your bed partner will sleep better with fewer disruptions. For even quieter therapy, the optional Mirage Swift II Distal Pressure Port
can be attached to the end of the short tube to vent airflow far away from the face.
Unique Tube Connector
The Mirage Swift II Nasal Pillow Mask’s unique tube design and four optional tube positions give you unparalleled flexibility. Users have the option to position the tube to the right or left side of the frame and run the tube up either side of the headgear using the Short Tube Retainer.
This design keeps your line of sight clear at all times and is perfect for CPAP users who enjoy reading or watching TV in bed. Side-sleeping is also much more comfortable with this exclusive tube design. Simply position the tube opposite to the side you prefer to sleep on and settle down to a good night’s sleep without fear of accidentally sleeping on your tube.
Easy Fitting and Cleaning
The ResMed Mirage Swift II comes with three nasal pillow sizes – Small, Medium, and Large – for easy at-home fitting. Removing the mask is easy because there’s no need to readjust the headgear straps after your initial fitting and adjustment. Simply pull the nasal pillow cushion and the frame it rests on away from your face and slide the headgear off your head.
Additionally, assembling and disassembling the mask is just as straightforward, making cleaning and replacing parts almost effortless.

FAQ
I've never used a nasal pillow mask before: what is the biggest advantage?
Nasal pillow masks have fewer facial contact points than nasal masks and are therefore lighter and less obtrusive. Nasal pillow masks also offer a clear line of sight, so users can wear glasses, read, or watch TV. Their lightweight design also makes them great for travelers and first-time CPAP users.
Should I just choose the biggest pillow cushions for optimal comfort?
The most comfortable nasal pillow cushion is one that fits you best. The best fitting nasal pillow is one that gives you a good seal without pushing up against your nose or causing excessive pressure. We recommend experimenting with all three nasal pillow cushions that come with the Mirage Swift II CPAP mask to find your best fit.
Does the Mirage Swift II work with all CPAP machines?
The Mirage Swift II Nasal Pillow Mask is compatible with CPAP machines of all brands. The only exception is the ResMed AirMini Auto Travel CPAP.
Where are you located? Can you send me the pullow mask to Argentina?

Because of my condition I set my CPAP machine to very high setting (I set to 19). But no leaks at all from this mask, this is very good mask!! The mask a little hard to put on because too big but it does job very good. Too big but comfortable. I sleep on side and I put my tube on other side of me and it works very good. I feel claustrophobia from a lot of the masks but this one works well for me. I used to use the regular face mask styles but they are painful on my nose and face. This is very good alternative to that type. Also good price on Respshop.
This is the best mask I used because no pressure on my head. It work very well even on high setting. If you have high setting like me you should try this one because it does not leak. I have told all my friends to use this mask. Respshop has very good customer service and help me buy supply every time. Thank you respshop.
Bought this mask because I liked that the hose went out the side of the mask instead of to the bottom. I've found this to be very comfortable and convenient for sleeping since I can keep my tube out of the way.
The package comes with three cushion sizes and I tried them all. Of course you should only use one size, the one that works best for you, but you should be able to find it since all three are included. As for the actual cushion feel, it’s good. Fits well and works well, not much more to add on top of that. I did buy an extra pillow as an eventual replacement and it was a pretty normal, affordable price.
As I mentioned, I bought this mask primarily because the air feed goes out the side instead of the bottom. This has worked excellently for me and it lets me sleep on my side or back without any kind of interference. It works better for sleeping on one side than the other, but I believe you can flip the side that the air feed connects to.
Other than that, the mask harness is pretty comfortable. I like the material and the straps are nice and wide, so the pressure is distributed well. They haven’t lost much elasticity yet in the 6 months I’ve used it, so it seems pretty durable as well. The biggest reason I bought this mask was because the air feed comes into the nose piece horizontally instead of vertically. I sleep purely on my back so horizontal feeds would usually interfere with my body. Not a problem with the Swift II however, as it just comes out to the side. Probably not as recommended for a side sleeper but that’s not a concern for me. All in all, this is a great mask and I would highly recommend it.
This mask is not worth the money over the original.
