By offering updated comfort features, including advanced humidification, Respironics has expanded upon their BiPAP Auto line by developing the Respironics PR System One 760 with BiFlex Technology. Adjusting pressure during use by offering two different pressure levels, one during your inhale and the other during your exhale, the 760 Auto BiPAP is a leader in comfort and performance for BiPAP machines. Optional heated tubing will help improve your comfort by eliminating or reducing rainout in your tube and CPAP mask, delivering a consistent temperature to your mask and reducing irritating side effects like a sore throat or a dry nose.

BiFlex Technology

BiFlex will make your breathing patterns feel nautral during use by increasing the comfort. Each breath you take will be tracked by your BiPAP and pressure will be changed during the three different points in your breathing cycle. Pressure will automatically be reduced while you are transitioning between your exhale and inhale, increasing comfort while delivering excellent performance. Pressure from your BiPAP will be maintained at a comfortable level to ensure that you are receiving a typical breathing pattern.

Event Detection

Respironics Auto Trak sensitivity is an digital algorithm that will monitor your breathing patterns during BiPAP therapy and will respond to any abnormal pressure changes in your breathing cycle. While BiPAP therapy was designed to respond to obstructive sleep apnea, the Respironics 760 will also react to things like AHI and any flow limitations you might have. The Respironics 760 Auto BiPAP will also manage the leak from your mask during sleep apnea therapy and monitor your snores and apneas.

Resistance Control

Your BiPAP will reach its optimal pressure by determining the type of mask you use during your sleep apnea therapy. A numbering system in the machine will allow for your machine to compensate for your chosen mask type and accurately deliver a reliable and constant pressure.

Humidifier with Optional Heated Tubing

Humidification can improve your BiPAP therapy comfort, especially in extreme climates or during winter use by delivering a consistent temperature through your tube and to your mask. A new design allows for more humidification output, as Respironics has redesigned and increased the surface area of the humidifier. The humidifier has three different levels of humidity to allow you to control the temperature of humidity that you find the most comfortable.

You can purchase heated tubing as an optimal add on. Heated tubing will reduce the moisture output in your tube, reduce rainout which can lead to side effects such as a sore throat, and deliver a consistent temperature to your mask. Heated tubing has five different temperatures, providing versatility to the user by allowing you to choose your preferred temperature, increasing comfort.

There is an easy to read, and easy to use, LCD screen that will show you your 7 day and 30 day averages, your leak rate, and your apnea index information. You can also change all of your settings easily with the LCD display. All Respironics machines come with an SD memory card that will store your information and allow you to easily transport it to your home PC or share with your healthcare provider and doctor where changes in your therapy can appropriately be determined.

Is my old Respironics Humidifier compatible with the 760?

No, the 60 Series Humidifier is a new design to improve your comfort and therapy and is only compatible with other 60 Series Machines.

Can I travel with this machine overseas?

Yes, the power supply puts out both 100 and 240 volts to make it compatible with overseas outlets. You will need an adapter that will allow you to plug it in to other outlets. The machine and humidifier are both light weight which makes it ideal as a travel machine. You should always contact your airline and the TSA when bringing your machine onto a flight. We recommend that you carry your machine on board to ensure its safety, and use some sort of packing material in the travel bag to ensure the machines safety.
