In order to fill the water chamber, you must first remove it from the APEX iCH machine. Removing the water chamber is quick and easy, and behind it lies the SD card holder and the humidification settings control. For removal flip down the bottom lever, press down on the tab beneath the humidification settings, pull up at a 45 degree angle and remove.

FAQ
Is the water chamber dishwasher safe?
While the chamber is dishwasher safe, running the chamber through the dishwasher may cause damage to the middle seal. We recommend cleaning the chamber manually with soap and water to preserve the seal for more use.
How many hours of humidification will I receive if my water chamber is full?
Tested under the most extreme pressure, humidification, and sleep settings the APEX iCH Auto will provide humidification for at least 8 hours. Humidifiers help relive dryness and congestion.
How often should I be replacing the air filter?
Depending on the environment in which you house the machine, the air filter should be washed at minimum once per every 2 weeks. If your environment is dusty, the air filter may require additional cleaning. We recommend replacing the air filter every 6 months for in order to receive the best results.

Ok - I CANNOT agree with any of the comments above. I've had this machine for about 2 years now, and I cannot wait to get a new one. It is loud...I mean LOUD. The engine and the air pump is seriously flawed. I have to wear earplugs at night just to be able to sleep. My wife cannot tell what she hates more, me snoring or the machine!!
I travel a lot, and this thing because of its oval form, does not fit well into hand luggage. The first one I had cracked just around the screen, so that the screen itself (only held by a cable) has now disappeared into the inner makings of this monster. Naturally the display is broken as well. The Auto function also doesn't really know what it is doing. If you don't keep within a certain rhythm (even on level 3) it will simply switch to full-power-on pressure, with almost no possibility to exhale through the nose again.
I sincerely cannot recommend ANYONE to buy this machine.
They say travel but I use it every day. Its perfect because I can just put it on my bedstand and it doesnt take up any space.
Bought this one over the other apex ones because the humidifier is built in and the other apexs might not be great for every day use while this one seems to work out fine. Been a few months and I havent had problems.
This is the quietest machine I have used. A recent sleep study requires me to have an automated CPAP from 6 -12cm of H2O. Very compact and the
smallest footprint of any of my machines and much quieter than my RESMED. Love this machine, definite 5 stars.
