good product

I've been using my Philips DreamStation for almost a year, but I still don't get used to it, and I can't see the data. It's also been keeping me up at night. Considering I'd be using it while traveling, I bought the Transcend Micro 510 Auto Travel Machine. I've only used it for two days, but it works great. Although I forgot to buy the matching mask. Since I'm in Japan, I don't know how easy it will be to buy the replacement parts later. But I hope it will be easy to buy. This time, the purchase experience on Respshop was very good. (I think it might be usable on weekdays.) However, I didn't have much experience with customs clearance, which took some time, about two weeks. (The first time I cleared customs, the doctor's diagnosis didn't mention the type of medical device I needed to import, so I had to reapply.) I hope I can buy the matching mask and other accessories soon so I can start my peaceful and sweet sleep journey.

I've traveled regularly and always ended up renting a small machine

I've traveled regularly and always ended up renting a small machine. Finally, I decided to invest in this Transcend Micro 510 and I love it! It's small enough for my under the seat backpack so i don't have to worry about it getting lost, it's quieter than those I've rented in the past and it just fits the bill all around whether I'm on a longer trip or just down the 2 hours to my son's house.

Awesome little machine. Works great.

I have used my new Micro 510 travel cpap for 4 or 5 nights so far and it's awesome. I have an airmini that is awful for me -- it was too noisy with inconsistent wheezing and whistling no matter what I bought to try to ameliorate it. So I wound up traveling with my full sized cpap which takes up too much room. I am so glad I took a chance on this great little machine. So far so good. It makes some noise but it is constant and not loud so more like white noise which is fine. I really like that I can wear my choice of mask with it. The Micro seems very comparable, at least with my first impression so far, to my full sized air sense 11 at a fraction of the size for packing.

Hi
Please tell me
Do I need to buy a battery?
Where I can buy?
Thank you!
God bless you!
Meika

RespShop

Hi Meika 😊
The Transcend Micro 510 Auto Travel CPAP Machine does not require a battery to operate, you can use it directly with its power supply.
A battery is optional and mainly useful for travel, camping, or backup power.
You can find compatible battery options here:

Let us know if you’d like help choosing the right one, we’re happy to assist!

My pressures on my BiPap machine are:
IPAP 19.0
EPAP 15.O
Will pressures work on your machine.
Thanks Steve

RespShop

Hi Steve! 😊

Thanks for sharing your settings, that really helps.

The Transcend Micro 510 Auto Travel CPAP Machine is a CPAP/APAP machine, so it delivers a single pressure (or auto-adjusting range), not separate IPAP and EPAP like a BiPAP.

Because of that, it wouldn’t be able to replicate your current settings of 19/15 exactly.

We’d recommend checking with your doctor before switching, just to make sure it would still meet your therapy needs 👍

If you’d like, we can help you explore travel-friendly options that better match BiPAP therapy!

Sleep well 😴

What’s the difference between this and the original model? I have a resmed mini that I absolutely hate. Horrible humidity, very loud and the pressure doesn’t adjust automatically. And I hate that I can’t use my normal mask. I’m looking for a better travel option

RespShop

Hi Joe,

Thank you for sharing your experience, we really appreciate your feedback.

The Transcend Micro 510 Auto offers auto-adjusting pressure (APAP), so it adapts throughout the night, and it’s compatible with most standard CPAP masks, unlike the AirMini. For humidity, it uses an optional HME instead of built-in humidification, which many travelers find simpler, though it does feel different from a traditional humidifier.

Based on what you mentioned, this could be a better fit for your needs. If you’d like more information or help choosing the right setup, feel free to give us a call at 866-936-3754, we’re happy to help!
