Easy to Use
No additional adapters are needed to use the AirMist HME with your Micro CPAP. It seamlessly integrates into your existing setup — just connect one end of the AirMist adapter to your Micro CPAP tubing and the other to your CPAP mask. 

Replaceable Cartridges 
Each kit comes with 4 replaceable HME cartridges and an AirMist HME adapter which houses the HME cartridge. Each cartridge is individually packaged and is good for up to 7 days once opened. 

Universal Compatibility
The Micro AirMist HME works with all CPAP masks* with standard 22mm connections for maximum flexibility. 

*The Transcend AirMist HME works best when positioned closer to the mask. Masks with a short tubing may experience slightly reduced humidification due to the greater distance heat and moisture need to travel to reach the HME.

How do I clean my AirMist HME Kit?

The AirMist adapter can be cleaned weekly with mild soap and warm water. The AirMist HME cartridges are not washable.

  1. Remove the HME cartridge from the adapter.
  2. Soak the AirMist Adapter in warm, soapy water.
  3. Wash the interior and exterior of the adapter with a lint-free cloth.
  4. Rinse thoroughly and air dry away from direct sunlight.
How often should I replace the AirMist HME cartridge? 

Once the HME cartridge is opened, it is good for up to a week.
Can I buy replacement AirMist HME cartridges separately? 

Yes, replacement AirMist HME cartridges can be purchased separately in packs of 8.
What tubing can I use with the AirMist HME?

The AirMist HME is compatible with the Transcend Micro AirFlex™ 6 Ft Hose and the Micro Standard 6 Ft Hose. It is also compatible with all non-heated CPAP tubing.

Transcend Micro comfortable and light

The travel size Transcend Micro that I purchased is comfortable and light enough to take with me when I travel. It is a little louder than the larger unit I have for home, but this is offset by its ease of travel and optional humidity chamber. When I can't use the humidity chamber the AirMist HME kit provides enough moisture to allow me to sleep sound.

Amazed how this small and on gives the same as a clunky humidifier. And no need to travel with distilled H2O.

Better than nothing

It helps, but still wake with dry throat, but not as bad. It also adds more bulk and weight to the tubing and adds another item to pack for the AirSense mini. I’ll buy again tho

For my P-10 mask, the connection with the Transcend HME is a clear acrylic to clear acrylic "pressure fit" rather than a soft seal (i.e., it's not like a hose connector). The fitting on the P-10 goes in less than halfway and can wobble loose, if not pressed tightly enough, but might crack, if pressed too hard. It "works"...but it's poorly engineered.

Are there any nasal pillow masks that come apart near the mask to add the airmist for optimal humidity?

Unfortunately, the generic HME only fits between the hose and the mask. Nothing between the mask frame and the adapter of the mask. Unless you have the airmini. Which the Aifit P10 and the HumidX is closer to the nasal adapter.

Will these work with a Phillips dreamwear mask that connects to the hose on top of my head? Would I need to moisten them rather than rely on exhaled breath to create the moisture?

The waterless humidifiers work best with a mask that connects the hose to the front of the face so the humidity is direct. We do not recommend using water to moisten the filters.
