Eson Nasal Mask by Fisher & Paykel

Designed for enhanced comfort, ease of use, and uninterrupted sleep, the Fisher & Paykel Eson Nasal Mask suits the needs of any CPAP user.

Featuring a compact three-part design, the F&P Eson is lightweight and easy to maintain. The cushion incorporates an advanced air diffuser for whisper quiet operation, as well as the RollFit seal, which gently adapts to your face and provides a secure seal that moves with you.

Breathable and easy to adjust, the ErgoFit™ headgear comes with Velcro straps that require no readjustments. Plus, thanks to the Easy Clip attachment, putting on and taking off your mask is as simple as hooking or unhooking the headgear clips to the frame.

Combining this comfortable headgear design with the low-profile frame, the Eson Nasal Mask minimizes contact with your face for a more natural sleeping experience.

This is a very comfortable mask

This is a very comfortable mask. I have been using Fisher & Parker masks for many, many years. When I adjust it properly, it is as quiet as a mouse!!

I ordered 2 masks this one Fisher and paykel medium is too large. Nose piece is fine but the headgear is too large, cannot adjust to fit.

This is my first time trying an Eson mask. I've never liked masks where I have to put a silicone "nose piece" into my nose, so I like the design of this nose piece. The nose piece goes around my nose instead of inside my nose, so this mask is much more comfortable for me in that sense. I also like how easily adjustable this mask is. The top part of the mask offers extra adjustment which made helped me get rid of the sags/leaks that I noticed the first night I tried this mask. The mask fits well and feels great. The only problem is that there is a forehead piece that makes it a little difficult to see after I put on my mask. I wish this piece was less obstructive to my vision, but I think the benefits of this mask outweighs that.

I like this mask because it's well priced and works well. Didn't know brand before but now I am a fan of them.

This mask is design with two main focuses: seal of the cushion, and quietness of the air flow. It lives up to both of these and overall performs as a top notch mask. I can unequivocally recommend it to anyone looking for a nasal mask, and it’s become my favorite mask out of all the ones I’ve used before.

The cushion is designed where there’s a rigid plastic part nestled in a broader, flexible silicon seal. This can bend in all directions and flex, which is meant to conform to your face. What this means is that the part actually touching your face is able to form a perfect seal. Airflow is uninterrupted and the air is sealed up which means you don’t have leaks. I’ve found this to work great and I’ve been able to sleep night after night without discomfort, lines on my face, or leaks. Replacements are reasonably well priced too.

As for the noise, the mask has a sophisticated diffuser system called the Q cover. There’s an insert which helps diffuse the air and I’ve found that this the most quiet mask out of any mask I’ve used. Replacements for those are fairly priced too.

Finally, the headgear is nice. The material is breathable and easy to adjust, with sufficient holding points around the head. It also has clips on the bottom two straps which clip into the plastic portion. They’re easy to disconnect so you can get up and going very easily.

How do I clean the Eson Nasal Mask?

Weekly cleaning: headgear

Daily cleaning: cushion, frame, elbow, swivel

  1. Disassemble the mask.
  2. Hand wash all parts in warm water with mild soap. Avoid soaking for more than 10 minutes.
  3. Rinse each part thoroughly under running water.
  4. Let the parts air dry away from direct sunlight.

The diffuser should be replaced every 2 to 3 months. It is not washable and should not be exposed to water.

How often should I replace my Eson Nasal Mask?

To maintain the best fit and seal for your CPAP therapy, we recommend replacing the entire mask, including the headgear and frame, every 6 months.

The silicone cushion, however, may need to be replaced more frequently, typically every 2 to 3 months. Silicone naturally softens over time, which can affect its ability to create a good seal.

My Eson Nasal Mask is leaking. What should I do?
  1. Gently pull the mask away from your face and then release it, allowing the cushion seal to inflate and settle comfortably around your nose.
  2. Make sure to clean both your mask cushion and your face, as facial oils can interfere with the seal.
  3. Ensure you're wearing your Eson Nasal Mask according to the fitting instructions in the user guide or the video below. The way you put on the mask significantly impacts the seal.
  4. Adjust your headgear as necessary.
  5. Try a larger or smaller cushion size.
  6. Replace any worn out mask parts.

If your CPAP mask still leaks after following all those troubleshooting steps, a different mask style may be a better option. Feel free to contact RespShop for assistance in choosing a different mask.
