Eson Nasal Mask by Fisher & Paykel
Designed for enhanced comfort, ease of use, and uninterrupted sleep, the Fisher & Paykel Eson Nasal Mask suits the needs of any CPAP user.
Featuring a compact three-part design, the F&P Eson is lightweight and easy to maintain. The cushion incorporates an advanced air diffuser for whisper quiet operation, as well as the RollFit seal, which gently adapts to your face and provides a secure seal that moves with you.
Breathable and easy to adjust, the ErgoFit™ headgear comes with Velcro straps that require no readjustments. Plus, thanks to the Easy Clip attachment, putting on and taking off your mask is as simple as hooking or unhooking the headgear clips to the frame.
Combining this comfortable headgear design with the low-profile frame, the Eson Nasal Mask minimizes contact with your face for a more natural sleeping experience.
Compatible with CPAP and BiPAP machines from all manufacturers. ResMed AirMini users will need an AirMini Tubing Connector Adapter and a non-heated hose to connect the mask to their machine.
How do I clean the Eson Nasal Mask?
Weekly cleaning: headgear
Daily cleaning: cushion, frame, elbow, swivel
- Disassemble the mask.
- Hand wash all parts in warm water with mild soap. Avoid soaking for more than 10 minutes.
- Rinse each part thoroughly under running water.
- Let the parts air dry away from direct sunlight.
The diffuser should be replaced every 2 to 3 months. It is not washable and should not be exposed to water.
How often should I replace my Eson Nasal Mask?
To maintain the best fit and seal for your CPAP therapy, we recommend replacing the entire mask, including the headgear and frame, every 6 months.
The silicone cushion, however, may need to be replaced more frequently, typically every 2 to 3 months. Silicone naturally softens over time, which can affect its ability to create a good seal.
My Eson Nasal Mask is leaking. What should I do?
- Gently pull the mask away from your face and then release it, allowing the cushion seal to inflate and settle comfortably around your nose.
- Make sure to clean both your mask cushion and your face, as facial oils can interfere with the seal.
- Ensure you're wearing your Eson Nasal Mask according to the fitting instructions in the user guide or the video below. The way you put on the mask significantly impacts the seal.
- Adjust your headgear as necessary.
- Try a larger or smaller cushion size.
- Replace any worn out mask parts.
If your CPAP mask still leaks after following all those troubleshooting steps, a different mask style may be a better option. Feel free to contact RespShop for assistance in choosing a different mask.
