I’ve been using CPAP for years and have gone through just about every full face mask out there F20, F30, DreamWear, you name it. The new ResMed AirFit F40 honestly surprised me. It’s smaller, lighter, and feels way less claustrophobic than most full face masks.
The AdaptiSeal cushion is super soft and actually moves with my face when I roll over or open my mouth during sleep. I used to wake up to the sound of leaks or air blowing in my eyes, but not with this one. The seal stays put all night without having to crank the straps tight.
The quick release elbow is a nice touch too. I can pop the hose off in seconds when I need to get up, without removing the whole mask. Plus, no bulky top strap means I can wear it while reading or watching TV before bed without feeling like I’m in a head harness.
Cleaning is simple, the fit feels secure, and I’ve noticed fewer red marks on my face in the morning. My leak rate has dropped dramatically since switching to this.
If you run your machine at really high pressures, you might need to fine-tune the straps a bit, but for me it’s perfect.
I have had sleep apnea for about 7 years and I have not been able to keep the CPAP on my face until I started using the res med air sense 11. I am a disabled New Jersey Medicaid recipient and I have been assigned the air sense 11. I'm using the nasal pillow mask and I'll always feel a little uncomfortable because of acid reflux and nasal congestion but the air sense 11 has been the only thing that has helped me so far with my sleep apnea. I'm going to continue to keep trying to keep the apnea machine on my face because I know it's helping. Throughout the last 2 years, my breathing and ability to stay awake has become a lot worse but since I started using the air sense 11 I have been feeling better. I know I have to put forth more of an effort to keep the machine on my face because I'm definitely noticing a difference.
You well love this full face, CPAP mask, cushion, especially if you snore, it seals so well.
Everything is away right, the fit is great. The price is good... Thank you for always being there....
When I started using the Rez MED CPAP machine, I never really experienced a machine that could sense when you put the headset on or off. This automatic feature is a game changer for me in a sense that I don’t have to keep reaching over to my machine to turn it on and off, and it automatically has my settings ready. I recommend this machine for all CPAP uses.
Works great! I use it at my apartment during the week so I do not have to bring my main unit back and forth when I travel each week. Great price too!
Before I purchased my UVC LED CPAP Sanitizer making sure my mask, headgear and hoses were clean was a hit and miss affair. Now i can easily ensure that everything is clean and safe to use everyday. No more reminders to clean by hardware in the form of morning sniffles that seem to come out of nowhere, but are actually caused by unclean gear. Love my machine.
After having my previous machine for about a decade, the upgrade has been phenomenal. My nights are so much more restful.
My husband has a goatee and the full masks didn't work for him. He woke up several times a night adjusting. This one is easier to use, and he doesn't get a dry mouth from this like the others.
Very helpful in treatment of my sleep apnea. Easy to setup and adjust settings.
I hate inhaling collected moisture from my cpap air tube. This Climatelineair heated tubing fixed that for me 100%!
It is well worth the purchase price. I have not had to wake up multiple times in the night to shake out a tube. I definitely will repurchase this again!
Very comfortable, doesn't rub on the bridge of your nose, and doesn't leave imprints on your forehead! There is a somewhat annoying 'strap' of material at the area where your lower nose goes, but it can be trimmed if necessary and function isn't affected too badly. Highly recommended
Mr snoring was so loud my wife Sue couldn't sleep. It bothered me that I sleep fine and she had restless nights.
The res med airsense 10 is a game changer to our happiness. Its so quiet and track my sleeping habits on my phone. I went from 11 episodes of not breathing to 3.
Thanks for improving my health
I wish I had this version in the RV. I loved my AirSense 10, but when it came to buying a new one, I bought this one so that when the electricity goes out or I travel on the train and use it, it will use less of my battery backup. I do like its sleek design and option visibility. I'm saving up to buy a second one to use as my travel/backup machine.
This is my first CPAP machine. It was easy to set up, is comfortable to use, and is dependable. It certainly has successfully treated my sleep apnea.
This mask is a game changer for me. Does not interfere with my reading glasses.
