Introducing a comfortable and economical portable CPAP device
The Transcend II Travel CPAP Machine is one of the lightest and most compact sleep apnea therapy devices available. Perfect for regular nighttime use and for the frequent traveler, this device offers something for every user. Lightweight, quiet, and compatible with CPAP masks of all types, Transcend's Travel CPAP Machine is an industry leader in sleep apnea therapy equipment.
Great for the Road
Weighing just over 1.1 pounds, the Transcend II Travel CPAP Machine is great for travel of any kind. Pack it for a getaway weekend or an extended trip; the Transcend II Portable CPAP Machine offers great usability and it won't tie you down. The Transcend II also comes with an automatic altitude adjustment for up to 8,000 feet.
Durable Enough for Everyday Use
While the Transcend II is designed with travel in mind, this model did not compromise quality for usability. Like any good CPAP machine, the device offers standard ramp technology and a soft ambiance. It is also compatible with all masks, so you won't have to worry about leaving your trusty mask at home.
Powering the Device
Built for travel, the Transcend II Travel CPAP Machine can accommodate two overnight battery options. The Travel II comes with a standard wall plug-in by default. In the event you are somewhere that does not have reliable power then an Overnight or MultiNight external battery can be purchased separately which will switch on in the event of a power outage.
Note:
This Transcend CPAP used with a humdifier will add enough size to the machine and cause it to be similar to size of your standard home CPAP machine.

FAQ
If I purchase a multi-night battery, will it be too bulky to take camping?
The multi-night battery is 1.1 pounds and is smaller than the device itself, so no, you should be able to pack it up without a problem.
Can I camp with this without being near a water source?
Sure. The optional humidification device is waterless.
Can I charge the battery pack while it is connected to my Transcend?
Yes, the Transcend II Travel CPAP Machine battery can be recharged with the AC power supply or mobile power adaptor while delivering therapy. The Portable Solar Battery Charger will also recharge Transcend batteries, but it cannot be used during therapy.

Customer service has been so helpful and pleasant.
There is some air noise, but my roommates said it did not bother them. The noise that bothered me was the three pitches that vary with every inhale and exhale. At least they were fairly in tune, but it was like listening to Philip Glass--C-D-E-D-C-D-E-D-C ad infinitum. If I fell asleep quickly and stayed asleep it was not a problem after the first night or two. It certainly did not cause me to awaken.
There is nothing to keep the unit on the night table (no sticky feet), so I cut a piece of that sticky webbed shelf liner and that worked very well.
The buttons are small and are difficult to feel in the dark.
I did not buy the battery unit.
I think I will pack an extension cord in the future because the cord is not terribly long.
Overall, I am very happy, but I will continue to use my big unit at home.

The device is very small an light. Often, I can put the machine in my carry-on bag rather than carrying it separetely, which makes it even more convenient. (There is an upgraded version out which I believe has better ramping and pressure options than this device. I would suggest checking that out as well.)
It also has an optional portable power supply that can be used to power the CPAP so you can use it camping or in other places where an outlet may not be readily available.
When I bought it, it did not have a humidifier option, which was a limitation but was still better than doing without a CPAP. Now that it has a humidifier available for separate purchase, it would make it much better.
It also comes with software where you can easily adjust the pressure yourself, and generate reports that you can then share with your physician.
While I am sure this can be used as an every day CPAP, I don't know if it has the features many other larger devices will possess. However, if you suffer - as I do - from a severe case of apnea and want a convenient travel solution, then this is is something to take a look at.
I tried my best to drain the humidifier before putting it away each time that I used it. The last trip we were packing I noticed that there appeared to be something growing inside the humidifier. After a number of attempts I was able to clean the humidifier so that I could use it.
The reason that I am writing this letter is to explain the situation and request that you could redesign the water chamber for the humidifier so that it can be properly cleaned and dried after usage prior to storing it away since it is a travel CPAP unit. In addition if there is any way that the humidifier could be reduced in size it would greatly be appreciated since it now is larger than the one that i normally use at home.
The last cruise we took it stopped working on the fourth day of a seven day cruise. When I returned home I called transcend and they stated that there warranty was only for tw0 (2) years. I have been on cpap machines for the last twenty years and have never had one fail until now.
