Eson 2: Quiet. Comfortable. Great seal.
Quiet. If you are looking for a quiet mask, the Eson 2 is the answer! The reusable diffuser (the part covering the expiration valve) ensures the noise-sensitive sleeper a great night’s sleep. Although a tough tug to get off, you can wash the diffuser periodically in mild soap and water.
Comfortable. The Eson 2’s blue headgear is soft and light, making it very comfortable to wear. The special velcro on the straps is designed to be durable. You can easily remove the mask by down-twisting the clips or by pulling open the velcro straps. It is designed so the straps do not pull out all the way. Simple.
Great seal. The design of the Eson 2 makes it a great-fitting mask. The ball-and-socket design on the elbow allows more flexibility with the tubing, reducing any tugging that may cause leaks.
My customers love this mask for good reason!
Compatible with CPAP and BiPAP machines from all manufacturers. ResMed AirMini users will need an AirMini Tubing Connector Adapter and a non-heated hose to connect the mask to their machine.
How do I clean the Eson 2 Nasal Mask?
Weekly cleaning: headgear, diffuser
Daily cleaning: cushion, frame, elbow, swivel
- Disassemble the mask.
- Hand wash all parts in warm water with mild soap. Avoid soaking for more than 10 minutes and avoid scrubbing the diffuser.
- Rinse each part thoroughly under running water.
- Let the parts air dry away from direct sunlight.
How often should I replace the Eson 2 Nasal Mask?
To maintain the best fit and seal for your CPAP therapy, we recommend replacing the entire mask, including the headgear and frame, every 6 months.
The silicone cushion, however, may need to be replaced more frequently, typically every 2 to 3 months. Silicone naturally softens over time, which can affect its ability to create a good seal.
My Eson 2 Nasal Mask is leaking. What should I do?
- Gently pull the mask away from your face and then release it, allowing the cushion seal to inflate and settle comfortably around your nose.
- Make sure to clean both your mask cushion and your face, as facial oils can interfere with the seal.
- Ensure you're wearing your Eson 2 according to the fitting instructions in the user guide or the myMask app. The way you put on the mask significantly impacts the seal.
- Adjust your headgear as necessary.
- Try a larger or smaller cushion size.
- Replace any worn out mask parts.
