The IMDK Pulse Oximeter securely fits a wide range of finger sizes and is suitable for children as well as adults. The device operates on low power consumption, requiring only 2x AAA batteries (not included) to run. It automatic powers off after 8 seconds of inactivity to preserve battery life.
Perfusion Index
Perfusion index (PI) measures the amount of pulsatile blood flow to the skin. It is usually expressed as a percentage, ranging from 0.02% for very weak pulse to 20% for extremely strong pulse. Higher PI values indicate strong blood flow, while lower PI values may suggest weak perfusion or poor circulation at the monitored site.
